The Truth About Your Life Purpose

Spiritual notions abound today regarding finding your calling, and the typical message can be summed up like this: Follow your heart to align yourself with and find your divine purpose, and you’ll find happiness and all the abundance you want, while avoiding life’s challenges.

We love spiritual inspiration, but we recommend keeping your feet on the ground because New Age delusions, such as the platitudes above, can crash against the rocks of reality in the real world.

Our findings about the idea of a life purpose may surprise you. Below we list our long-term findings on the concept of a divine calling.

1. Everyone has a divine purpose. Every soul has reasons for incarnating.

2. We believe you (your soul, not personality) agree to and plan the general outline of your calling while in spirit form, before you incarnate.

3. Not everyone discovers his or her calling, such as the most appropriate career, in life at a young age. You may not discover your true calling until middle age, or even later, as it happens when it’s supposed to.

4. You may have several divine purposes throughout your life, such as one seemingly major one requiring constant effort throughout your life, and several minor ones, or many seemingly minor ones, requiring little effort, or one single life purpose. Everyone is different.

5. Very few people’s divine purpose includes wealth and, or fame. From the perspective of the other side, it’s amusing how much people fawn over celebrities and entertainers. On the other side, superstars are just like you and me, and sometimes on a much lower level, spiritually speaking.

6. One or more of the following are common life purposes: speaking your truth about an issue (sometimes on a public platform, e.g., writing a blog); standing up for your sovereign and human rights; contributing your time and, or resources to those less fortunate; being a good sibling, father, mother, spouse, or friend (a very common life purpose); teaching; being who you really are, no matter how much others disagree; doing your work well, no matter how unimportant it seems, despite not becoming wealthy from it; living your everyday life and responding compassionately to things in life you can’t change.

One thing that will help you find your calling is to get centered; detach from your inner fears, defenses, and daily mind dramas.

You can’t control your subconscious mind, but you can temporarily detach from it through meditation and other disciplines that place you in a zone, which enables you to more easily focus on what’s really important to you.

Unfortunately, it’s sometimes too easy to get carried away with being too idealistic about goals related to life purpose, and how life “should” be. Acceptance of the world as it is and the people in your life as they are, and whatever else you can’t control, is an important first step in avoiding unrealistic expectations.

We recommended avoiding confusing your true path in life with ego-self demands (things you want to do, but aren’t practical) and avoiding matters relating to instant gratification, which only delay the completion of your goals. The more you are completely in synch with your personal fate (which is exactly the same as destiny), and your optimum direction in life (by getting centered–such as through meditation, as mentioned above), the less inner conflict you will experience.

Sometimes a life purpose doesn’t work out the way you want, and the process instead of the goal might have been more important. Accepting that life sometimes includes unpleasantries that cannot be avoided, and that personal adversity and predetermination have a distinct purpose in life, goes a long way in keeping disappointment and despair at bay.

10 Spiritual Reasons Your Sex Life is Terrible

Today, sex is most commonly viewed as a physical and emotional act, with little or nothing to do with spirituality.

Couples experiencing sex life problems typically are unaware of or ignore the spiritual link. Most identify the causes of a sexless relationship to be one or more outlined in this today.com article, such as communication problems, lack of trust, stress, physical problems including hormonal imbalances, feelings of betrayal, and more. Sometimes even a lack of quality protein (not soy) can cause your sex drive to nosedive.

But you and your sex life have a spiritual side, even if you aren’t consciously aware of it.

Below we list ten potential spiritual reasons for your sex life problems.

1. One or both of you are unknowingly enduring a lost soul attachment or possession. In other words, you have hitchhikers on-board.

Once a person dies, their soul goes to the Light (i.e., “heaven” or whatever you want to call the other side, the unseen dimensions). But sometimes a soul refuses to go to the Light and hangs around on the mundane planes, as a ghost. These lost souls may attach themselves to those whose auras are temporarily dimmed (such as through stress or excess alcohol). The interference can be draining to the host, leaving little energy for sex. Or, the parasitic ghost invading your aura may not like your partner and may unconsciously convince you to avoid him or her, causing more problems in the relationship.

2. You or your partner are harboring dark energy or even demonic energy and demons. 8. You were punished, tortured, or put to death in a past life for having sex, perhaps with the soul who is your partner today. You subconsciously associate sex with pain or death, blocking a healthy sex life.

9. In a distant past life, you promised with all your heart to forever devote yourself to one specific lover, your “soul mate,” and you still haven’t dissolved the pact and let go of him or her. That long-lost forgotten love, who isn’t incarnated now, is still interfering with your love life today, 1700 years, and multiple lifetimes and lovers later.

10. The compatibility, measured through comprehensive astrology and numerology, between you and your romantic partner is horrible. At first, things seemed fine, but eventually reality set in. Hidden Factors That Form Human Compatibility

You’ve been lied to about what makes two people compatible. As long as two people enjoy mutual physical attraction and share basic likes such as baseball games and pizza, and dislikes such as cold weather, they are compatible, right? Wrong.

Isn’t compatibility just a matter of a couple working hard to make their differences bearable? Nope. Real compatibility isn’t a choice. Patience and understanding don’t cancel out innate strife.

Our long-term findings show that innate compatibility isn’t something you make, but something two people naturally possess, or not.

Below we list six factors that form human compatibility.

1. Personality red flags, otherwise known as subconscious fears and defenses, such as resentment, domineering tendencies, anger, dishonesty, and scores of others can break even the most harmonious bond. You won’t identify these through personality self-tests, since everyone is on their best behavior during these evaluations. 2. Physical attraction helps compatibility, and you need chemistry along with it. Chemistry is that special something that transcends physical magnetism. 3. Emotional intelligence may sometimes be overlooked as a key relationship factor, yet if person A has the emotional intelligence of a teenager and person B is mature beyond his years, the connection could very well be an up-hill battle.

4. Similar mental faculties are important for relationship longevity. If person A is an intellect, enjoys spirited debates, and “thinking too much” gives person B a headache, the connection may not endure. Mental and emotional intelligence are also effectively measured by handwriting analysis.

5. Past lives together are the root of your like or dislike for any given person and relate strongly to chemistry, mentioned above. You may be physically attracted to someone who looks almost exactly like person A, but person A for some reason disgusts you.

We can’t prove that reincarnation exists, but our long-term findings convince us that it’s a valid theory.

Let’s consider a past life scenario involving Chris and Terry. Although they’ve been together in many past lives, a shared ancient Chinese lifetime is one of the most momentous, and the beginning of their long history. Chris was a successful merchant and possessed many slaves, including Terry. Terry endured a lifetime of abuse as Chris’s slave, yet Terry had it good compared to many slaves during that time. Terry resented Chris and carried that energy into successive lifetimes.

Today, they are together in an intimate relationship, with zero conscious memory of their past lives together. Although their bond is rewarding and they love each other, they’ve suffered problems in their relationship. Terry has never been an angry person, yet feels seemingly unexplained anger toward Chris, and Chris recognizes it. It’s a thorn in both of their sides and interferes with their relationship.

Fortunately, they were both open to the idea of past life regression therapy, and discovered the root of Terry’s anger toward Chris, the slave-master lifetime. The mere discovery of it, even if it is simply a metaphor, as skeptics like to believe, has dramatically improved their romance.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have an extra push to be motivated to eat healthily and exercise often?

You could try diet pills, but those have side effects. Hiring a trainer and personal chef would be nice, but may not be within your budget.

Many people know what to do to lose weight, but then gain it back, and then some, eventually. While they temporarily changed their behavior, they didn’t address what ultimately overruled it: their mind.

When you change your mind, or your thinking, your behavior will follow. More discipline and other lifestyle changes are some of the keys to good health.

19 Affirmations to Become a Class Act

Have you ever noticed that people who behave like a class act tend to go further in life, and their work and personal relationships are more harmonious and less stressful?

Why is that? Is it because they have less drama and chaos in their life than most people? Maybe sometimes, but often it’s because they’ve been through a lot and in the process learned how to react positively to adversity.

The world is full of rude people, and people who don’t realize they’re overstepping boundaries or being disrespectful. Sooner or later you will encounter these types and that’s when you have a choice (and at times a spiritual test). You can stoop to their level and potentially start a battle, but this will just add more stress to your life. And you don’t want to create any negative karma, do you?

The other option is to behave like a class act and avoid taking the actions of others personally. Allow a person to be childish if they must (hey, it’s their karma!) and then respond to him or her like an adult.

Do you want to be known as someone who is patient, polite, kind, mature, and able to listen and communicate well, or the opposite?

A Spiritual Approach to Addiction

Most people associate a spiritual approach to addiction with relying on a higher power for help. We do too, but based on our work with the hidden or spiritual side of life, we believe there’s another vital part of the addiction puzzle that most people miss.

Unfortunately, traditional drug and alcohol rehab doesn’t address it. We believe rehab success rates would dramatically improve if they did.

If you or someone you know has unsuccessfully tried to kick a habit or treat an addiction, it may be time to consider the concept of spiritual hitchhikers, or spirit attachment. We’ve found that those we’ve encountered who have a hard time quitting almost always have them onboard.

What are spiritual hitchhikers? After the physical body dies, it is natural for souls to go to the ”Light” or other side. How do you know if you’re harboring lost souls? One sign is the sudden urge to use drugs, drink, or smoke, or tasting it, when you haven’t used for a long time or never have. Another sign is hearing voices or thinking thoughts urging you to use, which can be easily misinterpreted as your own. If you pay attention, you might notice that it wasn’t really your idea to smoke, have that drink, or use.

Another sign of spirit attachment is a cynical reaction after reading about the phenomenon. If the aforementioned information triggered a negative emotional reaction, disembodied souls might be with you and attempting to control your behavior.

Other signs include feeling blocked, personality changes while under the influence, unexplainable depression, anger, or fears, feelings of being followed or watched, dreams of being chased, and feeling drained.

Have you ever utilized the power of positive affirmations?

Some say you can reach any goal, including improving your sex life, with positive thinking. Though we believe some things are out of reach no matter what you do, positive affirmations can help you with what is within reach.

Spiritual Truth–Thoughts Create Only Some of Your Reality

You’ve probably heard of the idea that thoughts create your reality. By reality, what motivational speakers and best-selling New Age authors refer to is the events and circumstances of your life, not just your state of mind.

In the real world, you’ll find it’s not so simple.

While we are strong proponents of positive thinking and we believe you can make the most of your life by changing what you can and how you view that which you can’t change, conscious thought is only part of what influences your life.

It sounds easy, doesn’t it? Just think positive thoughts.

One major problem with it is your subconscious mind. We’ve learned a tremendous amount over the years about how the subconscious mind works through our study of handwriting analysis, hypnosis, subliminal audios, and past life regression. Your subconscious mind will generate thoughts all on its own through the ever present, hidden fears, defenses, and biases. You can detach from those thoughts through meditation, and work with them through hypnosis, subliminal audios, and past life regression, but since the subconscious mind is incredibly powerful, it’s not always possible to rise above them.

The process of thinking positive thoughts also competes with what your heart, intuition, or higher-self actually believes or knows to be true.

For example, if you’re intuiting that there’s no way you’re going to change your boss’s mind, and that’s how it turned out in the end, thinking positive thoughts is futile, unless the positive thoughts are for accepting what you can’t change and working instead on what you can change.

Below we ask seven questions that indicate thinking positive thoughts only creates some of your reality.

1. Did children in the hospital (or their parents) battling terminal diseases create that reality through their thinking?

2. Did Syrian war refugees create their current reality through their thinking?

3. Did rape victims think about rape too much, thus manifest it?

4. Will preaching mind over matter to a paranoid schizophrenic cure her of her mental disease?

5. Did generations of poor people in developing nations think their way into poverty?

6. Did a lack of happy thoughts create a record high murder rate in the summer of 2015 in the city of Chicago?

7. Are plane crashes the result of too many passengers not thinking positive thoughts about arriving safely at their destination?

Our long-term findings show that positive thinking, although important, takes a back seat to the unforeseen and predestined (positive and negative) events and circumstances in your life. No matter what you think, you can work with fate, but you can’t cheat it.

We’re asked sometimes why we focus on fate to the extent that we do. We want you to avoid being unexpectedly disappointed or hurt by the sometimes vicious hand of fate, and we frown on New Age opportunists selling escapist myths packaged as truth.

It may seem depressing at first, but in order to make the most of your life, you need to first do four things:

1. Avoid the “anything is possible, you can do anything” mind-set, beyond the occasional daydreaming or “dream-castling” about your aspirations and goals. Why? Because when you are at least moderately realistic about your goals, you’ll avoid wasting time and setting yourself up for major disappointment, or worse.

2. Accept that there are many things in your life that you can’t change, such as how others think and act. Whatever it is you want to manifest through conscious creation and, or the law of attraction, if your goal depends on the behavior of others, think again. You may be able to persuade a million people to buy your new software app if that type of success is part of your predestination, but if not, it won’t happen (or if it does you’ll eventually experience a reversal of fortune), and there’s nothing spiritual about attempting to control and manipulate others.

3. Get to know yourself. Self-knowledge, including your subconscious strengths, fears, and defenses (which are outlined superbly by handwriting analysis), along with your timing (which is outlined terrifically by comprehensive astrology and numerology), allows you to prepare for life’s inevitable challenges and get the most out of the rewarding phases in your life.

4. Make an effort to react to people and events as positively (or neutrally) as you can whenever possible. Strive to remain detached and compassionate. This will help to stop creating any additional difficult karma for the future.

The notion that thoughts create 100% of your reality is deceptively comforting. Like all delusions, you’ll find that it eventually crashes against the rocks of reality. Children like to believe that Santa can leave whatever they want under the tree, but eventually they grow out of that fantasy.

Alas, you can prepare for life’s challenges and make the most of your fate, and it’s up to you how you view that which you can’t change.

18 Magic Affirmations to Improve Your Appearance and Be Sexier

Perhaps you’ve experienced the power of affirmations.

Tell yourself a thousand times you can’t do something, and you’re that much closer to failure. Tell yourself repeatedly you can do something, and you’re more likely to succeed.

Taken to the extreme, some people claim you can manifest anything you want with positive thinking.

While we would like that to be true, we have a different view about the subject.

Through our many years of empirical research our findings show, consistently, that your experiences have a lot to do with personal timing, which is a reflection of your destiny (which is the same thing as fate).

The fabric of fate consists of both “good” and “bad” things.

That means you can only manifest something if it’s part of your destined path.

Sometimes your personal timing is conducive to looking great and feeling sexy, and situations in your life will mirror that. Sometimes it’s the opposite.

Surely, you’ve experienced feeling like your personal magnetism is off the charts, like you just can’t lose. Yet other times you feel like you’re invisible, or you’re humiliated to the point of wondering if your trials are being filmed with a hidden camera and the joke is on you.

But we’ve also found everyone has free will to react and make the most of themselves and every situation.

You can’t change your fate, but what you think and your attitude can shape your reality around the destined experiences. Lemonade made from life’s lemons can be exceedingly refreshing.

You have free will to worry and think negative thoughts, or you can take charge of your life and do what you can to improve it and stop worrying about that which you can’t change.

One thing that makes life easier is looking and feeling your best. How you treat others is most important, but in our society, how you look also matters. Is there anything wrong with wanting to improve your appearance and be sexier? Not in our opinion, unless you have hang-ups about sex.
