Words of Wisdom–Laozi

Share Button

Laozi (translated as “Old Master”), also known as Lao Tzu, or Lao-Tze, proper name Li Er, was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer. He’s the author of the Tao Te Ching, founder of Taoism, and a deity in religious Taoism and traditional Chinese religions.

He is usually portrayed as a 6th-century BCE contemporary of Confucius. Some modern historians believe he lived during the 4th century BCE.

Below we list words of wisdom by Laozi.

“For knowledge, add something every day. For wisdom…subtract.”

“Loving, hating, having expectations: all these are attachments. Attachment prevents the growth of one’s true being.”

“Rule your mind with serenity rather than with force and manipulation.”

“If a person seems wicked, do not cast him away. Awaken him with your words, elevate him with your deeds, repay his injury with your kindness. Do not cast him away; cast away his wickedness.”

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”

“Without the tao, Kindness and compassion are replaced by law and justice; Faith and trust are supplanted by ritual and ceremony.”

“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.”

“Can you step back from your own mind and thus understand all things?”

“New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.”

“One who believes in himself has no need to convince others.”

“Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.”

“Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t have time’ is to say ‘I don’t want to.'”

“A good athlete can enter a state of body-awareness in which the right stroke or the right movement happens by itself, effortlessly, without any interference of the conscious will. This is a paradigm for non-action: the purest and most effective form of action. The game plays the game; the poem writes the poem; we can’t tell the dancer from the dance. It happens when we trust the intelligence of the universe in the same way that an athlete or a dancer trusts the superior intelligence of the body.”

“Whatever is flexible and living will tend to grow; whatever is rigid and blocked will wither and die.”

“If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.”

“Those who know do not talk. Those who talk do not know.”

“When you accept yourself, the Universe accepts you.”

“Let your workings remain a mystery. Just show people the results.”

“There is no illusion great than fear.”

“Have patience. Wait until the mud settles and the water is clear. Remain unmoving until right action arises by itself.”

“The truth is not always beautiful, nor beautiful words the truth.”

“I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.”

“Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habit.”

“If you correct your mind the rest of your life will fall into place.”

“The sage does not hoard. The more he helps others, the more he benefits himself, Having bestowed all he has on others, he has yet more; having given all he has to others, he is richer still.”

“The wise stand out because they see themselves as part of the Whole. They shine because they don’t want to impress. They achieve great things because they don’t look for recognition. Their wisdom is contained in what they are, not their opinions. They refuse to argue, so no-one argues with them.”

Words of Wisdom–Marie Curie

Share Button

Marie Salomea Skłodowska–Curie (November 7th, 1867 – July 4th, 1934) was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who did pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person and only woman to win it twice, and the only person to win it in two scientific fields. She was also, in 1906, the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris.

Below we list some words of wisdom by Marie Curie.

“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.”

“Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained.”

“Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas.”

“First principle: never to let one’s self be beaten down by persons or by events.”

“You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for our own improvement, and at the same time share a genaral responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think can be most useful.”

“I never see what has been done; I only see what remains to be done.”

“We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves.”

“We must not forget that when radium was discovered no one knew that it would prove useful in hospitals. The work was one of pure science. And this is a proof that scientific work must not be considered from the point of view of the direct usefulness of it. It must be done for itself, for the beauty of science, and then there is always the chance that a scientific discovery may become like the radium a benefit for humanity.”

“All my life through, the new sights of Nature made me rejoice like a child.”

“I was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy.”

“The older one gets, the more one feels that the present must be enjoyed; it is a precious gift, comparable to a state of grace”

“If it takes a hundred years, it will be a pity, but I will not cease to work for it as long as I live.”

“I am one of those who think like Nobel, that humanity will draw more good than evil from new discoveries.”

“There are sadistic scientists who hurry to hunt down errors instead of establishing the truth.”

“Life is not easy for any for us.”

“Humanity needs practical men, who get the most out of their work, and, without forgetting the general good, safeguard their own interests. But humanity also needs dreamers, for whom the disinterested development of an enterprise is so captivating that it becomes impossible for them to devote their care to their own material profit.”

“I have frequently been questioned, especially by women, of how I could reconcile family life with a scientific career. Well, it has not been easy.”

“I have frequently been questioned, especially by women, of how I could reconcile family life with a scientific career. Well, it has not been easy.”

“Sometimes my courage fails me and I think I ought to stop working, live in the country and devote myself to gardening. But I am held by a thousand bonds, and I don’t know when I shall be able to arrange things otherwise. Nor do I know whether, even by writing scientific books, I could live without the laboratory.”

Words of Wisdom—Aristotle

Share Button

Aristotle (384–322 BC) was a Greek philosopher taught by Plato. He wrote about many subjects and his philosophy continues to heavily influence almost every form of knowledge in the West.

Below are words of wisdom from Aristotle.

“Be a free thinker and don’t accept everything you hear as truth. Be critical and evaluate what you believe in.”

“The most important relationship we can all have is the one you have with yourself, the most important journey you can take is one of self-discovery. To know yourself, you must spend time with yourself, you must not be afraid to be alone. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”

“The more you know, the more you know you don’t know.”

“Criticism is something we can avoid easily by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.”

“Happiness is a quality of the soul…not a function of one’s material circumstances.”

“Our problem is not that we aim too high and miss, but that we aim too low and hit.”

“A fool contributes nothing worth hearing and takes offense at everything.”

“It is our choice of good or evil that determines our character, not our opinion about good or evil.”

“The worst form of inequality is to try to make unequal things equal.”

“Tyrants preserve themselves by sowing fear and mistrust among the citizens by means of spies, by distracting them with foreign wars, by eliminating men of spirit who might lead a revolution, by humbling the people, and making them incapable of decisive action.”

“Only an armed people can be truly free. Only an unarmed people can ever be enslaved.”

“Life is only meaningful when we are striving for a goal.”

“Anybody can become angry – that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way – that is not within everybody’s power and is not easy.”

“Think as the wise men think, but talk like the simple people do.”

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”

“A friend of everyone is a friend of no one”

“You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.”

“We are what we repeatedly do… excellence, therefore, isn’t just an act, but a habit and life isn’t just a series of events, but an ongoing process of self-definition.”

“The society that loses its grip on the past is in danger, for it produces men who know nothing but the present, and who are not aware that life had been, and could be, different from what it is.”

“The tyrant, who in order to hold his power, suppresses every superiority, does away with good men, forbids education and light, controls every movement of the citizens and, keeping them under a perpetual servitude, wants them to grow accustomed to baseness and cowardice, has his spies everywhere to listen to what is said in the meetings, and spreads dissension and calumny among the citizens and impoverishes them, is obliged to make war in order to keep his subjects occupied and impose on them permanent need of a chief.”

“I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory is over self.”

“Today, see if you can stretch your heart and expand your love so that it touches not only those to whom you can give it easily, but also to those who need it so much.”

“Find the good. Seek the Unity. Ignore the divisions among us.”

“The fool tells me his reason; the wise man persuades me with my own.”

“No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness.”

“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”

“The man who is truly good and wise will bear with dignity whatever fortune sends, and will always make the best of his circumstances.”

“Character is revealed through action.”

“What is the essence of life? To serve others and to do good.”

“He who has never learned to obey cannot be a good commander.”

“Doubt is the beginning of wisdom.”

“At the intersection where your gifts, talents, and abilities meet a human need; therein you will discover your purpose.”

“Whatever we learn to do, we learn by actually doing it; men come to be builders, for instance, by building, and harp players by playing the harp. In the same way, by doing just acts we come to be just; by doing self-controlled acts, we come to be self-controlled; and by doing brave acts, we become brave.”

“If something’s bound to happen, it will happen. Right time, right person, and for the best reason.”

“The high-minded man must care more for the truth than for what people think.”

“Before you heal the body you must first heal the mind.”

“He who has overcome his fears will truly be free.”

“Let us first understand the facts and then we may seek the cause.”

“Wise people have an inward sense of what is beautiful, and the highest wisdom is to trust this intuition and be guided by it.”

Spiritual Humor

As Mark Twain said, “Humor is mankind’s greatest blessing.” As gratitude multiples your blessings, we hope you appreciate the humor in the quotes below. Some of the quotes may seem too negative to be spiritual, but we believe questioning spirituality is a good thing and can be spiritual too.

“I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: ‘O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.’ And God granted it.” Voltaire

“When it comes to bullshit…big time, major league bullshit… you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims… religion.” George Carlin

“I would never want to be a member of a group whose symbol was a guy nailed to two pieces of wood.” George Carlin

“I’ve begun worshipping the sun for a number of reasons. First of all, unlike some other gods I could mention, I can see the sun. It’s there for me every day. And the things it brings me are quite apparent all the time: heat, light, food, and a lovely day. There’s no mystery, no one asks for money, I don’t have to dress up, and there’s no boring pageantry. And interestingly enough, I have found that the prayers I offer to the sun and the prayers I formerly offered to “God” are all answered at about the same 50% rate.” George Carlin

“I have as much authority as the Pope, I just don’t have as many people who believe it.” George Carlin

“I’m completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.” George Carlin

“Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man … living in the sky. Who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer, and suffer, and burn, and scream, until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you. He loves you and he needs money.” George Carlin

“Religion is like a pair of shoes… find one that fits for you, but don’t make me wear your shoes.” George Carlin

“What year did Jesus think it was?” George Carlin

“The Muslims observe their Sabbath on Friday, the Jews observe on Saturday, and the Christians on Sunday. By the time Monday rolls around God is completely f***in’ worn out.” George Carlin

“Atheism is a non-prophet organization.” George Carlin

“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” Mark Twain

“Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company.” Mark Twain

“A man is accepted into a church for what he believes and he is turned out for what he knows.” Mark Twain

“In religion and politics, people’s beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second hand, and without examination” Mark Twain

“Anyone who thinks sitting in church can make you a Christian must also think that sitting in a garage can make you a car.” Garrison Keillor

“When did I realize I was God? Well, I was praying and I suddenly realized I was talking to myself.” Peter O’Toole

“Blasphemy: a law to protect an all-powerful, supernatural deity from getting its feelings hurt.” Ricky Gervais

“Life in Lubbock, Texas, taught me … that sex is the most awful, filthy thing on earth and you should save it for someone you love.” Butch Hancock

“When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn’t work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.” Emo Philips

“Life goes by fast. Enjoy it. Calm down. It’s all funny. Next. Everyone gets so upset about the wrong things.” Joan Rivers

In Defense of Psychics

Share Button

We remember many years ago a psychic predicting Arnold Schwarzenegger would be on a sitcom late in his life playing a grumpy old man.

Fast-forward to today, and Arnold isn’t staring in a sitcom. However, there’s a 2019 video clip of him promoting the most recent installment of the Terminator. In the video he’s sitting on a stage with another cast member in front of a live audience, jokingly putting down those who give excuses for not going to the gym: “You have no time? Then get up earlier!”

He appears to be playing a grumpy old-timer, and the audience was clearly enjoying his sarcastic humor. Perhaps this is the scene the psychic envisioned many years ago, but incorrectly assumed it was a sitcom.

“Being psychic does not necessarily mean seeing an event that has not yet occurred. It is rather seeing the inner nature of something.” Frederick Lenz

Psychics Often Get The Overall Concept Correct

We are acquainted with some talented psychics, and some of them don’t do it professionally. In our experience (personally, and as professional psychics), psychics often get the overall idea right, but it’s difficult to put a time-stamp on it, or sometimes the ideas get mixed up in translation, as possibly with the above outlined case.

Time and time again, psychics correctly relay a concept, something he or she unexplainably (by conventional wisdom) has a strong connection to, such as, “The name _______ relates to very good fortune for you,” or “There’s someone around you, born in (month of birth) who is working against your best interests.” The occurrences may be years in the future, but often the vision is accurate. The notion of self-fulfilling prophecy is inapplicable because the key circumstances are often in motion before the person is aware of the details (e.g., names, dates of birth).

We each have a sixth sense that is attuned to the oneness dimension in life, providing a means for us to guide our lives in accord with our ideas.” Henry Reed

Don’t try to comprehend with your mind. Your minds are very limited. Use your intuition.” Madeleine L’Engle

Accuracy Rates Of Good Psychics Top Those Of Many Other Professions

In our estimation, accuracy rates of talented psychics are at least 60%. That’s pretty good, especially when you consider the success rates of athletes and doctors.

Top Major League baseball players typically bat around .300. Batting .300 means he is failing 70% of the time and getting paid $10 million each season to do so.

According to a study (Plous, 1991) on the accuracy of doctors’ diagnoses, although the doctors were 90% sure they diagnosed correctly, they only diagnosed correctly about 15% of the time.

Although a 50% accuracy rate is considered reasonable in the psychic world, it’s never achieved in many other fields, including the financial investment field (e.g., Wall Street).

Affinity With The Psychic Matters

No psychic is 100% accurate 100% of the time, yet they are frequently the target of unrealistic demands from skeptics, like no other profession. A psychic can’t possibly effectively tap into every single area of your life and all that’s happening in the world, just as he or she can’t watch every channel on TV at once. Also, the energetic connection between you and the psychic matters; if you have a strong, largely benevolent compatibility connection as symbolized by comprehensive astrology and numerology, the psychic is more likely to be at the top of his or her game while doing a reading for you. Also, when clients have a lot of spiritual debris (such as lost souls and dark energy) in their energy field it can cloud or block a reading. Likewise, no psychic should claim to know everything or be able to read for anyone.

You Will Only Be Told What You Are Supposed To Know And Psychics Can’t Erase Karma

A psychic will only tell you things you are supposed to know at that time. There might be things you aren’t supposed to know at the time of the reading that the reader won’t get into. Also, they are reading you, not other people in your life, so don’t expect them to be able to pry into your friends and family through you. Don’t hold it against the professional if he or she doesn’t reveal all during your session.

Psychics can’t erase your karma either, so avoid expecting them to take care of your responsibilities. Just as you can’t expect a financial advisor to clear your debt, you can’t expect a seer to erase your karmic balance sheet.

Psychics And The Lottery

A famous comedian once asked why you’ve never seen the headline, “Psychic wins lottery.” Again, few other professions attract so much contempt as the metaphysical industry. Do you expect your financial advisor to recommend investments that will double your money in a year? Of course not. Our view is that only psychics who are fated to come into that sort of money will win the lottery.

Psychics are not magicians–they can’t shape-shift realty to manifest any desired result. They are messengers of the divine, and deserve as much respect as any other profession.

“I rely far more on gut instinct than researching huge amounts of statistics.” Richard Branson

Law of Attraction: One of Many Spiritual Laws

Share Button

The most commonly known spiritual law today seems to be the law of attraction. However, our findings tell us that other spiritual laws are just as important, yet so many law of attraction advocates either aren’t aware of them, or ignore them because they clash with what they are marketing.

“Nature is the source of all true knowledge. She has her own logic, her own laws, she has no effect without cause nor invention without necessity.” Leonardo da Vinci

The law of attraction is about attraction through focus. Focus extensively on having a productive, wonderful day tomorrow, and your odds of experiencing that increase. A citizen of North Korea can focus on being free and his days of being oppressed will be numbered… or so the theory goes.

The problem with championing the law of attraction exclusively and ignoring all other spiritual laws is that our findings show other spiritual laws, such as reincarnation, personal fate, karma, and the law of universal order, frequently supersede the law of attraction.

“Magic is something that happens that appears to be impossible. What I call ‘illusion magic’ uses laws of science and nature that are already known. Real magic uses laws that haven’t yet been discovered.” Doug Henning

Laws of nature, including gravitation, matter, and light, including laws of physics such as motion, conservation of mass and energy, thermodynamics and others, are irrefutable according to modern day scientific consensus: “Laws of Nature are factual truths, not logical ones; are true for every time and every place in the universe; contain no proper names; are universal or statistical claims; and are conditional claims, not categorical ones.”

Spiritual laws may be more accurately described as theories from a conventional science point of view since we can’t prove reincarnation, for example, with physical evidence. However, we haven’t found evidence to refute these concepts either.

In fact, we regularly see corroboration for the spiritual beliefs of reincarnation, personal fate, higher-self/soul having more influence than personality, subconscious domination of conscious self, predestination, the macrocosm reflecting the microcosm (as above, so below), and others, including the law of attraction (within reason).

“The child of three or four is saturated with adult rules. His universe is dominated by the idea that things are as they ought to be, that everyone’s actions conform to laws that are both physical and moral – in a word, that there is a Universal Order.” Jean Piaget

Instead of promoting the unrealistic myth that you can attract anything you want in this life through the law of attraction, we prefer to temper the notion with realism so you aren’t devastated if what you want isn’t part of your destined path.

Perhaps you intend to attract the perfect mate, or the perfect business partner, or immensely lucrative clients, or you have a burning desire to be a billionaire. It’s possible all that can be yours. There aren’t always quick fixes in the real world; through consistent effort and discipline, many goals can be achieved, even if it takes multiple lifetimes.

Even if you exert an extraordinary amount of effort and will toward being a billionaire, for example, and you have a knack for being in the right place at the right time, your goal of being a billionaire is still, to a great extent, decided by the actions of others. This is where karma comes into play. Good karma equates to people naturally acting in harmony with your plans. You can’t control a lot of things in life, especially the actions of others.

“The intuition of the moral sentiment is an insight of the perfection of the laws of the soul. These laws execute themselves. They are out of time, out of space, and not subject to circumstance.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

What if, like denying all spiritual laws besides the law of attraction, your denial of all other laws of nature besides gravitation made them disappear?

Consider what would happen: water would never boil again, and light would stop traveling the speed of light for example. Essentially, all life in the universe would cease to exist.

The lopsided bias in favor of the law of attraction as the only spiritual law becomes evident after a little research and applying one’s critical thinking skills.

Ultimately, the other spiritual laws besides the law of attraction are inspiring instead of threatening if you consider the following belief: life has infinite spiritual meaning and you have the power to shape your future existences through compassion, unconditional love, faith, gratitude, and doing what you can to reach your goals.

Spiritual Reasons Behind Recurring And Seemingly Accidental Meetings With The Same Stranger

Share Button

The phenomenon of repeatedly, unexplainably, seeing the same stranger on the street, in your office building, at the grocery store, or elsewhere, instead of all the other people you could possibly bump into, is a fairly common occurrence. We believe there are spiritual explanations for this experience.

We recently received the following e-mail:

“Can you explain why some people meet over the years accidentally on the street? For example, I met a woman 17 years ago on the Internet, later we met in real life, but then we did not communicate anymore. But a few years later we met by chance twice on the street in largest city, and then this woman tried to get a job in a company where I already worked, but she did not know about it. Some strange and mystical coincidence? Is this karma’s work? Is this a memory of past incarnations? It seems that fate or some powerful forces are pushing us specifically on the street. Here it should be noted that this woman likes me very much, but I do not like her.” –N.

“Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.” –Albert Einstein

Sometimes the reasons for meeting aren’t clear to you, and sometimes they are, though our findings show that everything really does happen for a reason.

Since the early 1990s, Scott has collected the birth data of people he encounters. The individuals he sees on a recurring, seemingly random basis, like the woman on the elevator of the building of his residence, illustrate the idea of personal “orbits” crossing paths. Orbits represent collective personal timing. In this case, forces of the universe pulling people together are symbolized by mutual patterns in the astrology and numerology charts.

In this instance, the phenomenon has to do with Scott’s and the woman’s short-term collective personal timing coinciding, thus, they continually cross paths. Once their respective timing changes, the orbits shift and they don’t see each other as often. In this sort of encounter, based on the patterns, it appears to be a connection with only moderate past life karmic ties, as the draw to each other seems to be mutually neutral, as if they both realize there’s zero reason to pursue more than a casual acquaintance (they are of vastly different age groups and share few interests). But in other cases, the connection is far deeper, as evidenced by the ensuing circumstances.

The study of married or otherwise committed couples in relation to personal orbits is a fascinating study. Time and time again, drastic changes in collective personal timing, mutually in their favor, cements the bond and enriches their rewards. However, without fail, adverse changes in collective timing of one or both partners dissolves the bond. They may choose to stay together as friends, but they both know the relationship has radically transformed or even ended. The same dynamic applies to any other two-person arrangement; collective natal and timing patterns either symbolically pull people together, or force them apart.

As in the case above mentioned by “N.,” where a recurring contact presents a problem, and even ends up a fellow employee, negative karma seems to be a theme. Aside from a possible stalking or surveillance situation, It could be that the person who sent us the above e-mail has some unfinished, past-life business with the person, even to the extent of the type of karma that takes years to balance. Or, it may be a mutual timing connection, challenging to one or both, that tests his or her patience. They might have important lessons to learn. It depends on each unique connection; everyone’s natal patterns and timing are different, as is the energy of each two-person grouping.

Sometimes the connection is so strongly fated that the two people end up together no matter what they decide to do. These are the types of connections that movies and novels are based on—sometimes it’s a dream come true, and other times it’s a nightmare. Again, each case is different and depends on the personal natal configurations, timing, and compatibility.

The situation where one of the two people has a natural aversion to the other person (e.g., a woman has an innate fear of tall Asian men) and, through her fear, continually draws the tall Asian man to her through chance meetings at the neighborhood park, is different, and has to do with attracting what you resist. Though it sounds like the person who sent us the e-mail above could be, in part, drawing the woman to her through dislike of her. Perhaps it’s a combination of forces at play.

So as you regularly encounter particular individuals in your orbit in the future, you can meditate on the topic and try to discern to what degree he or she has meaning in your life. Or, you can consult with an expert in astrology and, or numerology, or a psychic for additional information.

Pets and Psychic Abilities

Share Button

Have you ever communicated intuitively with your pet, or wondered if your pet has psychic abilities?

Stephen once took care of his mom’s cat, Tigger, and dog, Chloe, for two weeks. After Tigger’s dinner one evening, he appeared at Stephen’s bedroom door, stared at Stephen, and meowed softly. Stephen suddenly saw the image of the treat he forgot to give Tigger after his dinner. Was Tigger reminding Stephen in his cat language, through sound and images directed at Stephen? It seemed that way.

A few days later, Chloe walked up to where Stephen was sitting and stared at him. Stephen saw an image in his mind’s eye of the dog’s dinner. Chloe seemed to be communicating to Stephen that she wanted to eat, even though it wasn’t her dinner time yet. Perhaps this is normal for animals, yet we don’t always pick up what they’re trying to tell us.

Pet psychics have become popular, but we were skeptical at first; what would a pet have to say, besides wanting more food or walks? The consensus among satisfied clients is that psychics can help with behavioral problems, identify illnesses, find lost animals, and communicate with pets that have crossed over.

One of our sisters consulted with a pet psychic for her dog and the reading surprised us:

“She (www.allspirithealing.com*) had me bring a picture of Macy, with her eyes clearly visible, and a photo of our family. I was not skeptical at all based on what my neighbor told me about her. I didn’t give her any information about Macy at all. She told me how Macy interacts with each person in the family, and she was extremely accurate, to the point that I was laughing out loud. She told me that Macy likes her new name–she had no prior knowledge that we had changed it. And she told me why Macy has difficulty dealing with other dogs, going all the way back to a rough litter-mate. Macy apparently thinks of herself as a Diva, because she thinks she has really cool stuff. She is very grateful that we adopted her, and she thinks of herself as one of my kids.”

After hearing about her experience with the pet psychic, our other sister had a reading about her dog too:

“She was very specific… even down to a certain toy that Louie was looking for and couldn’t find. She confirmed for me that Louie does indeed have health problems (I suspected, but the vet has been unable to see his heart condition – at least without me paying for an expensive MRI), and she also was able to tell me what kind of pain he was in on a scale of 1-10. She told me that he doesn’t need long walks (it’s heard for him to breathe), and that he had already told me that he wanted a doggie sibling. We wanted another dog, but I was worried that it may not be good for Louie. She also brought up that sometimes I can feel him staring at me from across the room when I’m in the middle of something. She said that he’s trying to tell me to stop the busyness, to slow down, and to be present. She said that he’s basically here for me (vs. anyone else in the family). She was able to tell me a lot about Hayden (her previous dog) – that he was my protector and that a piece of my soul left with him. As long as she had a photo, she could tap into past and present animals. She also told me a lot about myself – not related to pets.”

At one time Stephen lived near our sister and her Weimaraner, Hayden, who she mentions above. He’d love it when Stephen took him to the park and they played fetch with the Frisbee. About five years later Stephen was living in a different city. One day he kept feeling like something was rubbing against his legs as he sat at his desk at home. He also sensed some energy moving around his home, like a lost soul but different.

Being preoccupied at the time, he wasn’t really paying attention to it, but since he was used to the annoyances of perceiving spiritual clutter, he directed it to the Light with Reiki and a tornado of white Light.

A few days later he heard that Hayden had died, and he realized that bundle of energy visiting him in his home was likely the spirit of Hayden. He was probably begging Stephen to take him to the park to play fetch, just like they used to.

*We or our sisters don’t receive any type of compensation for mentioning the pet psychic above, but wanted to do so since our sisters gave her such glowing reviews.

Hypnosis Myths Part I

Share Button

Hypnosis is perhaps most widely (and falsely) known as the state of being helplessly under the control of another person’s suggestions, such as in an entertaining stage show. Too many people incorrectly assume hypnosis is dangerous, But the truth about Hypnosis is quite different.

You may not realize you’ve experienced a hypnotic state many times, such as when letting your mind wander while driving a long, familiar route. That feeling of losing track of time while zoning out, which is similar to hypnosis, isn’t dangerous.

Hypnosis can be invaluable in modifying unconscious fears such as fear of flying, and can help in goal-achievement by coaxing your subconscious mind to align with your conscious goals. Hypnosis MP3 audios, a form of self-hypnosis, are especially effective if used regularly and over a long period of time.

“I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies, for the hardest victory is over self.” – Aristotle

Question:
“My doctor told me it’s necessary to seek out a licensed professional with advanced training from the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, otherwise hypnosis is too dangerous. Is this true?”

Answer:
No. Hypnosis as a means of healing and self-knowledge has been in existence long before the medical industry tried to hijack it. Mere common sense will keep you safe, such as don’t use self-hypnosis (e.g. MP3 audios) while driving or operating heavy machinery.

“Though the doctors treated him, let his blood, and gave him medications to drink, he nevertheless recovered.” ― Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace

Hypnosis doesn’t make a person give up their will—nobody will do something they don’t really want to do, such as embarrass themselves, or worse, commit a crime. Unless it’s being mixed with a cocktail of mind-altering drugs, like during a covert three-letter agency interrogation while the subject is strapped to a steel chair in the basement of a safe house, hypnosis is as harmless as watching TV.

Hypnosis can be uncomfortable since it has the ability to uncover subconscious memories (and not false ones as long as the therapist isn’t using leading questions), and get to the root of stubborn subconscious fears and defense patterns. Such an eye-opening experience can be unsettling, but you don’t need a doctor to face the truth and your mind typically won’t show you anything you’re not ready to perceive. A therapist can help talk you through your issues, but hypnotism is safe to use without any certification.

Sometimes conscious beliefs and understanding can be at great odds with the subconscious mind, which generates conflict. For example, even though you’re single and may consciously desire a relationship, if your unconscious mind associates love life relationships with pain and adversity, it will do everything in its power (despite your conscious wishes) to generate circumstances to keep you single.

Your collective subconscious mind, with all of your unique fears and defenses (everyone has his or her own unique set) is always in survival mode, and mostly illogical like a fearful child. For instance, as you attempt to detach from your mind through meditation, your subconscious abruptly sends you the message that you forgot to close the garage door–anything to get you to avoid meditation and maintain control over your life.

Generating rational fears too (e.g. look both ways before crossing the street), it certainly protects you from danger in the world, but it can also irrationally block you from what you want.

Subconscious thinking must match conscious wishes to reach goals quickly, and this is one way hypnosis can be very useful; subliminal programming helps to coax your subconscious mind to go along with your conscious plans.

You can’t consciously control unconscious functioning and impressions, which largely direct your behavior, but hypnosis can help to modify many subconscious fears, like fear of success or abandonment. You can’t rid yourself of many fears and defenses, but you can learn to live with them through hypnosis and subliminal programming.

Our powerful (and safe!) hypnosis and subliminal audio MP3s help encourage your unconscious mind to align itself with your conscious goals to improve your love life, career, and more.

Spiritual Law of Fate vs. Evil Planetary Overlords Conspiracy

Share Button

Recently an acquaintance shared his opinion with us that wicked secret societies and reptilians with evil intent control the planet and humanity, and that there is no hope.

We are not experts on secret societies and reptilians, but in our view, there is hope and the future is bright.

Conspiracy theorists will sometimes say anything to sell books. Sometimes they confuse spiritual laws that influence the world with other-dimensional oppressors who wish the planet’s population harm.

Our long-term findings show the laws of personal fate and karma to be valid theories. Nobody escapes these spiritual laws, just as nobody escapes the law of gravity. Just as you don’t confuse the law of gravity with a cabal of evil sorcerers who aim to prohibit humans from flying like birds, you shouldn’t confuse not getting what you want sometimes with a conspiracy to keep you unhappy. We don’t believe the Templars, Illuminati, Gnostics, and other groups are plotting to hold you back from following your dreams.

Benevolent Organizations

Select, shadowy groups may intend to keep certain parts of the population subjugated, but we believe it’s impossible to keep individuals down forever, unless they target you specifically, which they probably aren’t doing. It’s our belief most (if such groups exist) actually approve of individuals contributing to the progression of the human race because their own future is a part of it.

Science-fiction Attracts Readers

Again, we aren’t experts on reptilians, but, if they exist, perhaps they are just another form of demon. Rudolf Steiner taught that although demons have wrecked havoc, they have inadvertently been useful to the evolution of the human race through materialism and intellectualism. It eventually becomes a problem with complete separation from one’s spiritual self, which leads to a soulless existence.

The theory is not very exciting, but leave it to the conspiracy theorists to weave it into a tall tale, which goes something like this: “Rudolf Steiner taught that Ahriman, a demon, intends to enslave humanity through advanced technology…” Rudolf Steiner never said that; the person who made it up is doing so for his own personal gain and creating bad karma for himself.

Secret Societies and Population Control

We once heard someone say, “If the (secret society) had their way, advances in medicine would have never seen the light of day and many more would be dead today. They engineered plagues to kill off millions.” The engineering of diseases to keep civilization in check, or to exterminate certain groups, sounds like something from a Hollywood sci-fi movie. We hope this isn’t true, but if it is, imagine the karma they are creating for themselves.

Our theory is that even extremes like plagues and disease can strengthen a soul’s immunity for the next incarnation, just as having a cold serves to strengthen your immunity in this lifetime. According to Dr Mercola, it’s a sign of potential disease if a person never gets sick; the body may not be boosting it’s immunity like those who get a cold once in a while.

Perhaps there have been covert factions with malicious intent throughout history, but ultimately we believe the real power on this planet isn’t nefarious in the least. We believe it’s in the best interest of those who hold the ultimate power on planet Earth, if there is such a group, to ensure catastrophes like the Holocaust never occur again.

Law of Polarity

Consider the law of polarity in this mundane dimension–love and hate, feminine and masculine, right and left, hot and cold, night and day, dark and light, and so on. Even if factions of evil-doers exist, there are eventually counter groups to balance things out.

For every other-dimensional entity intent on tyrannizing the planet’s population, there is a force just as powerful working to ensure freedom and allow humanity to progress toward a glorious future.

The law of karma may, at times, be confused with a group of evil old men bent on enslaving you. But the truth, as we see it, is karma and predetermination are behind many of the “bad” things that happen on this planet–your soul (not your personality) selects the key life circumstances in each incarnation. Also, rest assured that Light is stronger than evil, and Light will always prevail in the end. Recognizing these spiritual truths is liberating and allows you to make the most of your personal fate.
