One of the best ways to get centered is through meditation. The feel-good state of meditation directly combats stress and anxiety, and helps to improve your overall outlook on life.
Besides the many scientifically documented benefits (some of which we document below), meditation helps you flow with the currents of life and avoid false starts and dead-ends. For regular meditators, it’s common to receive a signal in meditation to try an alternate path, and realize later it saved them time or money.
Below we list several scientific studies highlighting the benefits of meditation.
Meditation and Anxiety
“Twenty-five studies reported statistically superior outcomes in the meditation group compared to control. No adverse effects were reported. Conclusions: This review demonstrates some efficacy of meditative therapies in reducing anxiety symptoms, which has important clinical implications for applying meditative techniques in treating anxiety.”
Chen KW, Berger CC, Manheimer E, et al. Meditative therapies for reducing anxiety: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials. Depression and Anxiety. 2012;29(7):545–562. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22700446/
Meditation and Irritable Bowel Syndrome
“Women in the MG showed greater reductions in IBS symptom severity immediately after training…but evidenced significantly greater improvements in the MG than in the SG at the 3-month follow-up. Mindfulness scores increased significantly more in the MG after treatment, confirming effective learning of mindfulness skills. Participants’ ratings of the credibility of their assigned interventions, measured after the first group session, were not different between groups. Conclusions: This randomized controlled trial demonstrated that mindfulness training has a substantial therapeutic effect on bowel symptom severity, improves health-related quality of life, and reduces distress. The beneficial effects persist for at least 3 months after group training.” Gaylord SA, Palsson OS, Garland EL, et al. Mindfulness training reduces the severity of irritable bowel syndrome in women: results of a randomized controlled trial. American Journal of Gastroenterology. 2011;106(9):1678–1688. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21691341/
Meditation and Smoking Cessation
“Scientific interest on mindfulness-based interventions for the treatment of smoking has increased over the past decade. All articles reported promising results, especially for smoking cessation, relapse prevention, number of cigarettes smoked, the moderation of mindfulness on the strength of relationship between craving and smoking, and the development of coping strategies to deal with triggers to smoke. Most of the articles corresponded to pilot or feasibility randomized controlled trials with low risk of bias regarding random sequence generation, attrition, and reporting. However, few articles reported sufficient data on selection, performance, and detection bias. Conclusions: Mindfulness appears to induce positive effects on mental health, which might contribute to the maintenance of tobacco abstinence.” de Souza ICW, de Barros VV, Gomide HP, et al. Mindfulness-based interventions for the treatment of smoking: a systematic literature review. Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine. 2015;21(3):129–140. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25710798/
Meditation and Chronic Illness
“Meditation has been studied in populations with fibromyalgia, cancer, hypertension, and psoriasis. While earlier studies were small and lacked experimental controls, the quality and quantity of valid research is growing. Meditation practice can positively influence the experience of chronic illness and can serve as a primary, secondary, and/or tertiary prevention strategy. Health professionals demonstrate commitment to holistic practice by asking patients about use of meditation, and can encourage this self-care activity. Simple techniques for mindfulness can be taught in the clinical setting.” Bonadonna R. Meditation’s impact on chronic illness. Holistic Nursing Practice. 2003;17(6):309–319. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/14650573/
Meditation and Insomnia
“Conclusions: Mindfulness meditation appears to be a viable treatment option for adults with chronic insomnia and could provide an alternative to traditional treatments for insomnia.” Ong JC, Manber R, Segal Z, et al. A randomized controlled trial of mindfulness meditation for chronic insomnia. Sleep. 2014;37(9):1553–1563. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25142566/
We encourage you to practice regular meditation to reap all the wonderful benefits, including peace of mind.

Words of Wisdom: Edgar Cayce
Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), also known as the “sleeping prophet” and the “father of holistic medicine,” is the most documented psychic of the 20th century. Cayce gave psychic readings to thousands of people over 40 years while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing past lives and prophecies yet to come.
The majority of Cayce’s readings are about holistic health and the treatment of illness. People from all walks of life and beliefs found and still find healing through his information.
In addition to information related to health, Cayce also gave information through his readings about reincarnation and philosophy, dream interpretation, psychic phenomena and ESP, and prayer, meditation, and spiritual growth.
Below are words of wisdom from Edgar Cayce.
“You can never lose anything that really belongs to you, and you can’t keep that which belongs to someone else.” Edgar Cayce
“There is progress whether ye are going forward or backward! The thing is to move!” Edgar Cayce
“When ye are prepared for a thing, the opportunity to use it presents itself.“ Edgar Cayce
“Dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions.” Edgar Cayce
“For, he that expects nothing shall not be disappointed, but he that expects much – if he lives and uses that in hand day by day – shall be full to running over.” Edgar Cayce
“It is thought and feeling which guides the universe, not deeds.” Edgar Cayce
“Don’t feel sorry for yourself if you have chosen the wrong road, turn around.” Edgar Cayce
“This is the first lesson ye should learn: There is so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, it doesn’t behoove any of us to speak evil of the rest of us. This is a universal law, and until one begins to make application of same, one may not go very far in spiritual or soul development.” Edgar Cayce
“Remember that all is One… and what you do to your neighbor, your friend or your foe, is a reflection of what you think of your Creator.” Edgar Cayce
“Through prayer we speak to God. In meditation, God speaks to us.” Edgar Cayce
“Sound will be the medicine of the future.” Edgar Cayce
“A soulmate is an ongoing connection with another individual that the soul picks up again in various times and places over lifetimes. We are attracted to another person at a soul level not because that person is our unique complement, but because by being with that individual, we are somehow provided with an impetus to become whole ourselves.” Edgar Cayce
“Forces of light on earth shall overcome the force of darkness. Complete spiritual enlightenment on earth will occur.” Edgar Cayce
“Keep the Pineal Gland operating and you will Never grow Old, You will always be Young.”Edgar Cayce
“Arcturus is the highest civilization in our galaxy.” Edgar Cayce
“Know that all healing forces are within, not without! The applications from without are merely to create within a coordinating mental and spiritual force.” Edgar Cayce
“Happiness is your choice to make. How happy or how miserable do you want to be?”Edgar Cayce
“When you get to the place where you would worry, Stop and pray.” Edgar Cayce
“Astrology is a fact, in most instances. But astrological aspects are but signs, symbols. No influence is of greater value or of greater help than the will of an individual…. Do not attempt to be guided by, but use the astrological influences as the means to meet or to overcome the faults and failures, or to minimize the faults and to magnify the virtues in self.” Edgar Cayce
“Each soul enters with a mission. We all have a mission to perform.” Edgar Cayce
“You have inherited (the) most from yourself, not from your family! The family is only a river through which Soul flows.” Edgar Cayce
“Meditation is listening to the divine within.” Edgar Cayce
“Birth in the physical is death in the spiritual. Death in the physical is the birth in the spiritual.” Edgar Cayce

7 Metaphysical Tips to Give Your Child an Edge
You can probably think of ways adults could have assisted you in your childhood so you would have had an edge in life. If you have kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, godchildren, or you mentor or teach kids, maybe you help them in ways you were not. Below are some metaphysical ways you can give kids an edge in this world.
Meditate daily. This will help you be calm and centered so you can react to your child in the best way possible. When she is old enough to sit with you and focus, you can teach her to meditate too. Think of the head start she will have in all areas of life if she learns how to tune out distractions and find her inner peace.
Clear your energy. Spiritual debris is everywhere and children are more vulnerable to it. Clearing yourself and your home will benefit your kids too.
Don’t drink heavily or do drugs anywhere near your kids. Spiritual troublemakers come running to people who overindulge, and these lower energy forms can target the weaker energy of kids too. But even if you do it away from your kids, you’re still setting an example for them.
Consider a numerology or astrology reading for your child. A good comprehensive numerology or astrology reading can help you realize your child’s talents and skills so you can encourage them in the right direction for future success. It can also uncover potential problem areas so you know what to help them work on.
Notice past life signs. If he is especially good at something, he may have done it before in past lives. Encourage him. An unexplained fear may also be a carry-over, and you can help him deal with it with your awareness.
Pay attention to dreams. Encourage your children to think about what their dreams mean to them so they learn about how the subconscious mind speaks to us in dreams. Nightmares of being chased might indicate troublemaker spirits in the area.
Pay attention to their “imagination.” Sometimes imaginary friends are more than that. Children, usually up to around age 7, are better able to perceive ghosts or lost souls. Sometimes imaginary friends are harmless, but if you sense something unseen that is negative for your child, use spiritual clearing to send it to the Light.
Teach your child acceptance. By being an example, you will show him the best way to handle difficult situations that you cannot change.
Teach your child forgiveness. By being an example, you will show her the power of forgiveness, and how it’s for you, not the perpetrator.
Teach your child gratitude. Expressing gratitude for the circumstances, things, and people in your life will show him how gratitude can act as a magic wand to help deal with conflict and bring more good things into your life.
Teach your child to honor and trust her intuition. This can be with or without meditation. Children often just “know” things. Pay attention to this and help her develop it.
Teach your children about karma. Help her realize good actions will beget more of the same in the future, and how destructive behavior comes back to you too.
Teach your child about life after death. Help him understand that death isn’t an ending, but a transformation, and that we’ll all see each other again.
Teach your child how to be of service to others. Help him realize that even a small, seemingly insignificant yet loving gesture can make a big difference in someone’s life.
Don’t encourage love life fairytales. When she is ready to date, help her understand that everyone has many soul mates, each might be destined for a different purpose (not always marriage or together-forever-in-bliss), and relationships started at a very young age are not always destined to be lifelong.
Turn off the video games and TV. This isn’t really a metaphysical tip, but still important. Help your teens learn basic life skills like keeping a budget, cooking healthy meals, daily exercise, productive scheduling, avoiding procrastination, how to deal with difficult people in a positive way, decision making, and taking responsibility for their actions.
Work through your own issues so you don’t project them onto your child. Heal yourself so your child won’t have to heal because of you.

How To Use Spiritual Laws To Your Advantage In Life
Many people claim using the law of attraction can help reach goals. Does it always work? No, because there are other spiritual laws, some that supersede the law of attraction, you need to be aware of in order to have an advantage in life.
Law of Universal Order
Examples of this law include planetary motions, tides, and the change of seasons, and why comprehensive astrology and numerology can accurately interpret personal fate. You can use these tools to predict and prepare for future life events.
Law of Soul Over Personality
Your personality might want to be incredibly wealthy or famous, but your soul might have chosen a different path before you incarnated. Fortunately, the more you calm your mind (like through meditation, exercise, or artistic endeavors), and unblock your energy (through Spiritual Detox or other clearing methods), the easier it will be to perceive your best path. When you are on your highest path, the efforts of your personality will be more likely to match the plan of your soul.
Law of Subconscious Dominance
The subconscious mind stores everything that’s ever happened to you, in this life and previous lives, and it has a lot more power over you than it may seem. Phobias are an example of this; someone who has a fear of flying can tell himself he is safe, be assured the pilot is experienced, and so on, but his body and mind will still react like a crash is inevitable as soon as he steps onto the plane. Another example is someone who has a fear of poverty; she might become a workaholic, and won’t be able to slow down even when it works against her and other parts of her life suffer. Fortunately, hypnosis and past life regression can be used successfully to find and release the root cause of these and most other fears. You can also use hypnosis or subliminal MP3s to give suggestions and direction to your subconscious mind to help achieve any goal.
Law of Reincarnation
67% of Americans don’t believe they’ve lived past lives, but that doesn’t stop their soul from incarnating again and again. This type of amnesia isn’t a bad thing, since it helps everyone focus on what’s most important: the present. Still, you can use your past lives to your advantage by going back to a past life when you were very skilled at something, for example, and bring forward that talent, discipline, and or drive.
Law of Intent
When your conscious intent is different from your subconscious desires or fears, you’ll encounter more conflict. You can minimize this by acknowledging your faults and working to improve them.
Law of Projection
You perceive the world as you are, not as it is. However, the more you understand yourself, your defenses and fears, and the more you try to see other people and situations without bias, the better off you will be.
Law of Destiny or Fate
Your destiny and fate (both words have the same meaning) began before you were born, after your soul (not your personality) agreed to the specific lifetime that included the physical body, early life family, and related experiences. The karma of your soul, from many lifetimes, also contributes to your destiny and fate, or what you experience in this particular life.
Due to the unseen force of destiny and fate, you cannot manifest and maintain something major that isn’t at least somewhat within its unique realm. But the more you are in tune with yourself and your highest path (through centering and unblocking), the less likely you’ll be to waste time taking the wrong exits on the freeway of fate.
Law of Karma
This one is quite simple; don’t do anything to others that you wouldn’t want done to you. All actions, words, and intent really do return to sender, and usually not in this life. This includes good karma too. However, not all “bad” experiences are due to negative actions in the distant past. Sometimes they’re just part of the path your soul chose for various reasons.
Law of Free Will
Fortunately, you have free will to react to fate and karmic situations. If you don’t like something in your life, you can use your free will to change it, within the confines of your destiny, or at least learn to accept it.
Law of Asking for Help
So much protection and guidance is available to you from the spiritual dimensions, including hints about your next best step for any goal, but you must ask for it and then pay attention. We recommend asking guides of the Light, (your) God, your Higher Self, and any other energies of the Light you pray to. Do not mess with the dark side, or you’ll regret it and forever be indebted to it.
We hope that by understanding how spiritual laws influence your life, you’ll use them to your advantage and experience more love, happiness, and success.

Avoid These Five Spiritual Myth Traps
A sure way to potentially incur negative karma and make your future fate more difficult is to align your actions with spiritual myths.
It’s understandable that competing philosophies and beliefs on planet Earth can easily snag those who are trying to do the right thing. Fortunately, you have the free will to exercise your critical thinking skills, hone your objectiveness, expand your unconditional love, and sharpen your intuition, all of which will help you find the truth.
Below are five spiritual myths to be aware of in order to make the most of your life and future incarnations.
1. “Meditation opens you to dark energies and blocks religion.” Recently we overheard someone say she would never meditate because meditation blocks Jesus and opens you to darkness. It’s unclear from where this notion originates, but nothing could be further from the truth. Meditation is simply detaching from your conscious thoughts through intense focus. In fact, it’s actually easier to commune with God (or whomever you pray to) while in a meditative state. Meditation gets rid of monkey mind; you surrender the attachment to mental gymnastics and let go. One drawback of meditation, if you chose to perceive it that way, is that those new to it may find repressed memories and emotions surfacing while in practice.
2. “If only the human race could defeat the forces of evil, then there would be peace on earth forever.” Our long-term findings firmly show there is a polarity in this mundane dimension, which means that opposites will always exist. Hot and cold, dark and light, up and down, sadness and happiness, peace and war, good and evil, and so on. There won’t ever be permanent peace on this planet because miscreants will always exist.
3. “The forces of evil control the human race on planet Earth and operate through the world’s billionaires.” The real evil is class warfare and employing it earns you negative karma. The human race is not enslaved, and there’s nobody to overthrow to save the planet. Our long-term findings show that the source of the wide range of human suffering isn’t a mystery; the laws of karma and personal fate dictate what is and what will be in each person’s life.
4. “There’s plenty of money in the world, it’s just in the wrong hands,” says the politician who will say anything for votes. Sounds like a fun game, one that we can play too: There are plenty of beautiful women in the world, but they are just in the wrong hands. In other words, if you vote for us, we’ll promise to steal the beautiful women from the men we deem unworthy and give them to you. Sounds ridiculous, right? The point is, no matter how much money someone has, if they earned it honestly, nobody has the right to take it from them. Wealth can be spiritual too, particularly for those who help others. There’s nothing evil about being rich, but there is negative karma in store for those who aim to steal other people’s money.
5. “You are the captain of your fate and can create the life you desire.” It may surprise you that we believe this to be true, but in a different way than you may think. We firmly embrace the theories of personal fate and karma, along with reincarnation. We also believe, based on our empirical, esoteric research, you are the captain of your fate, the key circumstances and events in your life, while in sprit form on the other side, before you incarnate. It seems that your soul, in-between lifetimes, has the option (in concert with spiritual guides) of choosing an incarnation and the key life events likely associated with it based on what your soul needs to experience for growth. But it also may be far more complex than that, in that predetermination, synchronicity, and interconnectedness of all things make that “choice” on the other side almost as if it’s not a choice at all. As a soul you are as receptive to earthly challenges as you are rewards. It’s your personality, once incarnated that has a problem with life’s difficulties. You are also the captain of your fate in how you respond to each life circumstance and event; responding with unconditional love and right action will make your future fate as good as it can be.
Striving to seek the truth in all things and avoiding the trap of spiritual myths will make the most of your karma and personal fate.

Why It Pays To Meditate–Personal Story
You’ve probably experienced delays, unanticipated expenses, and other nasty surprises in your travels; it’s just part of the overall adventure.
Aside from adopting a detached disposition, getting enough rest, focusing on the rewarding parts, and expecting the unexpected, there’s something else you can do to get more out of your travels, and you can apply it toward other areas of your life as well to maximize your blessings: meditation.
Scott’s Experience In Egypt
In spring of 2000 while visiting Egypt, I arrived at the Great Pyramid early in the morning only to discover the tickets to get inside the Great Pyramid and climb to the King’s Chamber were sold out for the day.
Undeterred, I decided to try again the next morning. I planned to arrive earlier, around the time the ticket booth opened.
At this point in my life I had been meditating every day for over three years (and still do) and early that morning entered meditation with the intent on knowing exactly when to leave the hotel to go to the Great Pyramid.
“Now,” I intuited after less than 40 minutes in mediation. So I quickly departed the hotel and got a taxi to the Great Pyramid.
Upon arriving, the ticket booth had just opened but they were, again, sold out due to tour groups buying up all the tickets through other channels. Cops were monitoring the booth, presumably so the ticket sellers wouldn’t sell additional, perhaps illegal tickets.
As I walked away from the booth, a British lady approached me and seeing that I wasn’t able to buy a ticket, asked me if I would like her ticket since she couldn’t make the climb due to heath reasons. I gladly accepted and thanked her. I offered to pay her for the ticket and she refused, but I insisted.
Had I not arrived at that moment, I wouldn’t have encountered the lady offering me her ticket. Meditation, in this case, seemingly helped me make my trip to Egypt much more rewarding.
It’s possible it was a ”coincidence” that my meditation coincided with successfully gaining entry to the Great Pyramid, but the longer I work with mysticism and metaphysics, the less I believe in coincidence.
By the way, the Great Pyramid looks a lot bigger in person, and the climb inside to the King’s Chamber (a story in itself—that room seems like a different dimension) is not an easy hike.
Other Benefits of Meditation
Upon entering a completely centered (meditative) state of mind, you effectively distance yourself from your fears and anxieties. There’s a distinct sense of detachment, and if you do it well enough (i.e., intense focus, in our experience), your brain releases a natural, healthy opiate.
Thus, after practice, you’ll eventually get in the habit of regular mediation and do anything to get your daily, beneficial fix. This feel good state directly combats stress and apprehension, and improves your decision-making ability.
You’ll benefit even from only 15 minutes daily, and you might even find yourself waking up a little earlier to get your fix. Clinical studies show that good meditation mirrors the benefits of sleep, so you’re losing less sleep than you think by waking up earlier to meditate.
Besides all the scientifically documented benefits, meditation helps you ”go with the flow” and avoid false starts and dead-ends. You may intend to take a certain course of action, for example, yet in meditation or afterwards you receive a clear signal to try an alternative route, which turns out to be much better than your original intended course of action.
We’ve received subtle, intuitive cues, like ideas appearing at the doorstep of consciousness, in meditation through the years. The guidance has helped improve both of our lives in countless ways, including business and personal matters.
We encourage you to practice regular meditation to reap all the wonderful benefits, including peace of mind.

Three Stages of Mastering Divination
Over thirty years ago we marveled at how psychics could apply astrology and other forms of divination to infer character traits and personal timing.
We began doing our own soothsaying around the same time, and today recognize a general three-stage process in becoming proficient in astrology. This also applies to numerology, tarot, runes, or any other form of divination.
The first stage involves a fascination with it, along with learning the basics. The second stage includes starting to do accurate character analysis and prediction, with many mistakes along the way. The third stage involves piercing the veil between the mundane world and the unseen dimensions, consistently accurate personality analysis and prediction, yet remaining humble because there’s always something new to learn.
It’s okay to be temporarily stuck in the first or second stage; nothing as valuable as the ability to divine the future comes easy. Those individuals who innately possess powerful raw psychic ability that allows for consistently high accuracy, without the aid of prophecy tools such as astrology, are rare.
Every other seer walks the necessary long journey; we recommend the following steps to become proficient in your craft.
1. Meditate every day. All you need is 20 minutes of good meditation each day to set yourself on the right path. In time, you’ll be so accustomed to meditating that you’ll do anything, even wake up 30 minutes early, to get your daily brain opiate release and detachment from monkey-mind fix.
2. Ask for help and guidance from your guides of the Light. Can’t seem to figure out the next best step in your divination studies, and your past or current teachers (if you’re not self-taught) don’t know the answers? See step one above, in conjunction with asking for help from your guides. You can get the direction you need through meditation and helpers of the Light on the other side. It may take a while, even years, but the information you seek will eventually appear at the doorstep of your mind if you maintain the course.
3. Ignore the cynics and skeptics, at least until you’re proficient, then you can debate them (if you choose to). In our experience, about half the people we encounter are skeptical of divination, and some are downright hostile. Tread carefully and avoid trying to convince someone of the validity of your craft; they’ve already made up their mind they don’t want to believe in it, usually with little or no research. One way we like to respond to cynics is, “I don’t believe in the type of astrology (or other metaphysical discipline) you’ve been exposed to either.” It’s often met with silence and, or confusion.
4. Remember that many other professionals, such as doctors and Wall Street pros, have about the same level of accuracy (frequently lower) as professional psychics and astrologers; we do important work too–we offer valuable perspective. Approach your craft seriously and give it the respect it deserves. Also, it’s perfectly acceptable to inquire about the subject’s related life details without having to divine completely blindfolded. Over 2000 years ago, Claudius Ptolemy, one of the early, great astrologers, said this about these topics and astrology:
“…The art of navigation, for instance, is not rejected, although it is in many points incomplete; therefore the bare fact that predictions are frequently imperfect cannot authorize the rejection of the art of prescience: the magnitude of its scope, and the faint resemblance that it bears to a divine attribute, should rather demand grateful commendations, and receive the utmost regard and attention. And, since no weakness is imputed to a physician, because he inquires into the individual habit of his patient, as well as into the nature of the disease, no imputation can justly attach to the professor of prognostication, because he combines the consideration of species, nurture, education and country, with that of the motion of the heavens: for the physician acts but reasonably, in thus considering the proper constitution of the sick person as well as his disease; so in forming predictions, it must surely be justifiably allowable to comprehend in that consideration every other thing connected with the subject in addition to the motion of the heavens, and to collect and compare with that motion all other cooperating circumstances arising elsewhere.”
Tetrabiblos, Claudius Ptolemy (translated by J.M. Ashmand)
5. The most important element in reaching the third stage is discipline. It starts with how you fuel and take care of your body. Avoid drugs, excess sugar, and alcohol, and get enough sleep and exercise. Commit yourself to your craft and work at it every day. Passion for your avocation certainly helps–there are times we’ve gone days, even weeks without a reasonable break, but it all pays off eventually.
After you learn the basics, begin doing accurate character analysis and prediction, and start to regularly access the other side for answers, the humility of realizing you’ll always be learning and encountering new and fascinating information will further elevate your expertise and make it immensely rewarding and enjoyable.

7 Mysticism Tips to Use Immediately
By definition, people practice mysticism far more than they realize.
The American Heritage dictionary defines mysticism as “consciousness of transcendent reality or of God through deep meditation or contemplation. Mystic is defined as relating to religious mysteries or occult rites and practices; one who practices or believes in mysticism.”
Spiritually sensitive individuals and, or those who are actively involved in self-realization and personal growth and search for the meaning of life are mystics. You don’t have to be a member of a secret brotherhood, live in a mountaintop monastery, or shun all material possessions and wear a long white beard to be a mystic.
We weren’t familiar with the true meaning of mysticism 30 years ago, but today we practice it every day in one way or another. You, too, can improve your daily life by practicing simple mysticism. We always write about how so much of your life is predestined, and we believe it is, yet below we list seven mystical tips to use now to constructively deal with fate and make the most of your days.
1. Mundane, everyday challenges are a part of everyone’s life, but you can ease the burden of those situations and tasks. When your mind races with worries, firmly tell it to stop it right now. Then, infuse a brilliant white Light into the scenario and people involved, and see yourself making it through the issue easily, with a smile. Spend a few minutes each night infusing positive energy into tomorrow’s goals and seeing yourself successfully dealing with all of them.
2. Call out to helpers, guides, and angels of the Light to assist you with future situations. Additionally, express repeatedly with gratitude statements like, ”All guides of the Light are welcome to assist.” By summoning forces of Light to assist you, you also repel dark energy. Some (typically Atheists) may laugh at you for saying prayers or asking for help, but it’s easy to ignore them once you experience the power of angels, archangels and other high-level helpers of the Light. All you have to do is ask for their help.
Always avoid asking for help from dark entities or demons because those energies won’t help you unconditionally; you’ll be selling your soul (literally) to lower level entities by doing so. Anyone who aligns themselves with dark forces is akin to partying like a rock star and living in the fast lane without a care of possible consequences; the person may appear glamorous, healthy, and prosperous for a short while, but eventually it will catch up with them. Becoming a slave to demonic forces isn’t worth the short-term benefits.
3. Make regular use of protection prayers and spiritual detox scripts to clear and protect yourself from lost souls and dark energy. We offer a free Spiritual Detox script on our site, the same one we use on a regular basis.
4. Try to avoid the trap of expectations. Dropping your expectations allows you to more easily accept what you can’t change, which happens to be a lot in life. It also gives you an edge to be able to more easily spot hidden opportunities, such as an unexpected path to success.
5. Forgive as much as you can and then forgive some more. Accept what has transpired in your life, and what is occurring now, so that you can move on. Take full responsibility for everything in your life and avoid blame, which brings you down. Resentment and resistance to what you can’t change only prevents you from reaching your full potential.
6. Make it a habit to express gratitude for every little thing in your life, including opportunities for growth (a euphemism for the tough stuff in life), along with faith that everything will be okay. We believe gratitude and faith are two of the most powerful tools a mystic can utilize.
7. Turn off the TV, limit sugar and alcohol intake, avoid drugs, get more sleep, and make meditation a regular part of your life, even if it’s only ten minutes each morning.
You’ll be amazed at how much more energy you’ll have every day to maximize your opportunities, mitigate your challenges, and make the most of your downtime if you exercise more discipline by following these simple tips.

Three Stages of Practicing Meditation
Thirty-five years ago, the idea of daily meditation seemed foreign to us. But today, it’s a normal part of our daily schedule, even if it means getting up thirty minutes earlier or skipping TV to do so.
People of all walks of life practice meditation now, unlike in the past when it was mainly for stereotypical radical spiritual devotees.
The scientifically documented health benefits may surprise you: improves regulation of emotions; decreases depression, inflammation, and stress; improves brain health and memory; increases peace of mind; releases a natural, healthy, feel-good brain opiate, and much more.
Three ascertainable stages exist in committing yourself to regular meditation. First, you wonder if you’re doing it right because nothing seems to happen. Next, you notice subtle changes in your perception of yourself and your life and you realize there’s really something to it. In the third stage you find the regular habit of meditation includes all the benefits listed above and it becomes as normal as going to bed and waking up in the morning. There’s no reluctance to do it, like you encounter in the first stage–you just do it to get your daily feel-good fix.
Don’t worry if you’re struggling to get past the first stage. Maintain discipline and you’ll eventually get the hang of it.
To the skeptics, we understand your cynicism because we’ve been there, but the science behind it is so overwhelming that we urge you to consider it.
In some cases, entering the second stage can be scary; don’t worry, you won’t become a vacant-minded zombie. Instead, you’ll learn to disengage from daily mind-dramas and monkey mind. Have you ever walked along a beach and the waves lulled you into a peaceful state of mind? That’s the feeling you can generate on a daily basis, anywhere–all you need is a little discipline.
We list five tips below to help you get started, or to go deeper if you’ve already started.
- Keep in mind that meditation is best approached as a long-term discipline. You may feel at first that you’re just going through the motions. But if you stay the course, you’ll reach a point where you’ll know exactly when you’re (easily) entering a meditative state of mind. It may take you weeks or even months, but you will get there if you continue.
- Drop your expectations. The reason that nothing seems to be happening at first is that nothing is supposed to happen, in a manner of speaking. The practice involves detaching from your mind, so of course it’ll seem like nothing is happening because you’re used to mind-chatter all the time.
- Expect your subconscious mind to rebel, as it can do with major changes in your life. Your collective subconscious (fears and defenses) may react while you are attempting to detach from it, so recognize the ever-so creative impressions (e.g., an itch or “you forgot to turn off your oven”) generated by it to resist your efforts.
- To avoid falling asleep in this discipline, get enough sleep and sit upright instead of lying down because your mind is conditioned to sleep lying laying down. You’ll find with practice that you’ll feel refreshed after meditation. Scientific studies have found that the process of meditation actually replicates many of the benefits of sleep, so you may need less sleep. In our long-term experience, waking up thirty minutes earlier for a meditation session before a busy day doesn’t seem like losing sleep due to the natural health benefits.
- Sit comfortably (you don’t have to sit like a yogi), close your eyes, breathe deeply, and focus on your chest-plate (or third eye). You can also try laying your arms away from your sides and focus on letting all stress drain away. Or pretend you’re facing a wall of rock while mountain climbing, where your intense focus is vital. That’s all there is to it, along with the discipline to avoid quitting. Other helpful tips include slowly counting from one to 100 or 1000, doing it on an empty stomach such as first thing in the morning, trying it after exercise, and asking for help from your guides of the Light.
We encourage you to practice regular meditation to reap all the wonderful benefits, especially peace of mind.

Meditation Truths and Falsehoods
The truth about meditation is quite different from what the average, inexperienced person thinks of it. Public opinion is shaped by a lifetime of societal influence, such as through Hollywood comedies, written by people who know little about meditation, that lampoon meditation and other “kooky” spiritual practices.
You can benefit by knowing the truth about meditation. Once you start practicing regularly, you won’t want to stop.
Below we list common truths and falsehoods about meditation.
1. People of all walks of life practice formal meditation.
This is true. It used to be that only those whose religion encourages regular meditation or those who were considered social outcasts would meditate. 30 years ago, announcing at a party that you meditate invited snickers and ridicule. Not any longer. Today, all types of people do it.
2. Other than attaining a little peace of mind, there’s nothing to gain from it.
This is false. Medical studies have routinely proven the health benefits of meditation in recent years, including stress reduction.
You’ll gain much more than a little peace of mind. Everyone experiences monkey-mind on occasion, some more than others; your mind is wound up from life’s everyday pressures and it takes on a life of its own, such as when you can’t get a particular song out of your head or can’t stop worrying. You can stop both through this spiritual discipline. Turing the channel in your mind, so to speak, becomes much easier. You’ll sleep better too.
3. It takes too long to do it.
This is false. 20 minutes each day is all you need. Turn off the TV in the evening, or get up 20 minutes earlier in the morning.
We meditate for an average of 30 minutes each day. We’ve meditated on planes, trains, boats, and buses, in taxis and hotels, on mountains, at the beach, and elsewhere. As long as you set aside 15-20 minutes, or even less, you can put your mind at ease and reap other benefits through this discipline.
4. It won’t tell me any secrets that I couldn’t get from asking myself simple questions.
This is false, and we prove it to ourselves almost daily. The subtle glimpses of insight you’ll get from regular practice are absolutely astounding. For example, you can ask yourself about a work-related issue, and in the following hours, days, or weeks you’ll get a (sometimes stunning) flash of insight about the situation.
The main goal with sitting down and going inward is to slow down and detach from your conscious mind. In doing so, you tap into your subconscious, and also your super-conscious, otherwise known as your higher-self or spiritual self and gain access to insight from the other side and, or guides of the Light.
It’s entirely possible to regularly get insight through this spiritual discipline that can change your life for the better.
5. I won’t be able to do it regularly because I’ll tire of it.
This is true, but only to a point. At first, your mind will be trying everything in its significant power to distract you because it feels threatened and wants to stay in control. But once you make it a daily habit, you’ll find that it’s automatic and you’ll look forward to it, similar to exercise. Plus, you’ll get used to the feel-good, healthy brain opiate release that comes from deep meditation and you won’t want to stop.
Find the truth about meditation yourself–start the regular practice and increase your self-understanding and understanding of others and everyday situations, reduce stress, and upgrade your intuition.
