Questions for Psychics: Ghosts, Mediumship and Spirit Guides

How can I communicate with loved ones who have crossed over, you ask?

The loss of a loved one is always difficult. It’s only natural to want to contact them and continue communication.

We believe loved ones who cross over do check in with those they left behind from time to time, and they are often there for you when you need them, even if you can’t sense their presence.

The trouble is, however, that most of us are not conditioned at an early age to be open to communication from those who have crossed over, and to identify it. Even though many may be beamed messages from the other side frequently, most people don’t acknowledge the signs.

In our experience, only those who are open-minded and, or spiritually sensitive can perceive this type of communication. Regular meditation can help those who are less sensitive, who are open to the possibility, to receive some insight.

If you want to receive communication from your loved ones who have crossed over, start by meditating daily. Getting into the practice of being centered and in touch with your higher-self will allow you to eventually be more aware of the spirit world. If you are disciplined enough to meditate regularly, you’ll also find you’ll be reaping the many benefits of this practice, such as being more relaxed and intuitive.

We believe that many of the rewards found through spiritual disciplines such as meditation demand at least some sacrifice, such as reducing your TV time. But the sacrifice seems like nothing once you begin to gain the benefits of your discipline.

Spend some quiet time alone with no distractions. Visualize yourself surrounded with a bright, white Light, or pretend the sun is shining brightly down upon you. Breath deeply, focus your attention on your heart or third eye area, and if you have trouble emptying your mind of thoughts, try imagining transferring all those preoccupations into an imaginary basket sitting next to you. Just say, “OK, I’ll get back to all of this after I meditate.” Then count from 1-100 until you begin to feel more relaxed. Perceive the numbers in your mind, or better yet, imagine them appearing on your chest plate or third eye area as you maintain your focus on that spot.

The more intently you focus, the easier you will get into a meditative state. You’ll get better with practice and eventually be able to gain insight about your questions.

You also may be able to communicate in your dreams with loved ones who have crossed over. Before bed, relax and think about the good times you and your loved one shared. Be grateful. Talk with him or her and share your questions or anything else that’s on your mind. Then ask for help in becoming aware of their presence in your dreams and recalling those dreams. Also ask for help from God or whomever you pray to and in time you may be able to be more perceptive of spirit communication. It’s also a good idea to immerse yourself in protective white Light, a cocoon of soothing, healing energy, before falling asleep to help you sleep better.

Is there a ghost in my home, you ask?

It’s much easier for us to offer a professional opinion on such matters by being physically in the location, but based on what someone tells us, sometimes it can be pretty obvious that a lost soul is hanging out in their home or workplace.

Sometimes it’s the result of someone dying in the home or area years ago and never going to “the Light.” Other times the resident unknowingly allows a lost soul into their home.

Fortunately, this problem is relatively easy to fix. One option is to send the spirit to the Light. Check out the book The Unquiet Dead by Edith Fiore. Aside from being an easy read that describes how and why lost souls can interfere with your life, there’s also an effective script in the back of the book you can read aloud which will help send lost souls on their way.

What is my spirit guide’s name and how can I communicate with them, you ask?

By design, you lack a continuous, direct line to your spirit guides, one that would always allow you to get the right answer instantaneously. Why, you ask? Because it would be too easy to skip the challenges in life, which amount to your earthly lessons.

But we believe many of you, especially if you have an active interest in metaphysics, are predetermined to be able to receive at least some other-dimensional guidance (such as through meditation), thereby gaining enough insight to help make wiser choices in life and shortening the learning curve a little bit.

Rather than attempting to link to a spirit guide, who might not be entirely helpful or even of the Light, go within to tap into your Higher-self, or God. We believe you can receive all the help you need (within reason) if you discipline yourself to tune into this stream of truth, the language of spirit. Don’t expect reams of information, like you’re listening to a speech, but do expect subtle hints, phrases, images, scents, symbols, and emotional impressions. If you pay attention and get into a meditative state of mind, with regular practice you’ll perceive what you need, when you need it.

“Spiritual Guides” Not Always Helpful

Share Button

The expectation or hope of dramatic, obvious contact with a spiritual guide or guides too often leads to disappointment. Much emphasis has been placed on spirit guide contact by many spiritual authors, but frankly, we believe your higher-self should receive more attention.

Below are seven tips for gaining authentic spiritual guidance.

1. It’s very important to note that not all “guides” offer absolute truth and wisdom just because they are not in a physical body. Some have strong biases and may not be objective with their advice to you.

It’s easy to mistake a disincarnate soul (someone who died but did not go to “the Light” for a variety of reasons) or a mischievous or dark entity for a “guide.” If the guide offers input that sounds impartial or prejudiced in any way, doesn’t feel uplifting or of a higher vibration, or feels negative and gives negative sounding advice (e.g., telling you to do something that would incur karma), demand that it leave and ask for spiritual cleansing help from whomever you pray to.

For example, if you make contact through a ouija board, pendulum, or some other means with an energy who claims to have been someone famous, such as Elvis, be wary. Even if it really is a deceased, famous personality, there is no guarantee that the information imparted will be truthful and non-subjective. Besides, it’s common for dark entities to play such games.

2. Everyone perceives spiritual guidance differently. Some hear (clairaudience), some see (clairvoyance), some just know (claircognizance), some feel (clairsentience), some taste or smell, and some experience various combinations or all of the above (clair-all). This is true with past life recall also. If you just know or feel, you may not directly hear or see your guides or past lives.

Although you may very well have one (or more) main guardian angel or guide, it’s likely that most people are not supposed to have a consistent, direct, conscious link to him or her while incarnated. Why, you ask? If you could pick up your spiritual telephone and had an invisible, on-call adviser to give you direct answers, 100% sure-fire direction any time you needed it, this would be cheating; you would not learn the lessons you’ve incarnated to experience.

Furthermore, we agree that help from angels of the Light and ascended master guides is available to many, but the insight you receive may be so subtle that you won’t be able to identify much about the source, other than to know that it feels genuine and pure.

3. It’s entirely possible, in our opinion, that many people have created, in their mind, a name and image of the helpful spiritual energy they call their guide. We don’t see anything wrong with this, as long as it’s only to identify the energy.

4. We don’t feel that associating a name with spiritual insight or discovering the name of a guide is important because it may not always be a guide from which you are deriving information, and it’s easy to become dependent on a guide.

5. Receiving outside help is great when needed, but relying on yourself as much as possible in meditation by connecting with your subconscious mind and your higher-self is usually best. Your subconscious mind is where all past and present life memories are stored, along with all fears and defenses. Your higher-self is also your link to your super-conscious, or all that is. Some say it’s a direct connection to God, your god-self.

Our Direct Your Destiny ™ e-package offers extensive tips and tools to help you get the most of your inner guidance.

6. If you meditate regularly and connect with your higher-self, you will have all the help you need, which may sometimes include the help of other-dimensional guides of the Light. All you have to do is focus on the dilemma or question, and if you are meant to know the answer, you will know it, when you are meant to realize it, one way or another.

Through years of practicing meditation, we regularly receive flashes of insight and the answers to questions by detaching just enough from the conscious mind to allow higher-self insight to flow to the doorstep of consciousness. Sometimes it seems as if the answers are waiting there for us to perceive.

7. Meditation is so important for self-awareness and stress reduction. Develop and practice it as a regular discipline and you will benefit in many ways, including receiving regular spiritual guidance and the ability to discern cosmic noise from divine insight.

In summary, we believe it’s to your advantage to put aside the desire to commune with specific spiritual guides and instead focus on becoming or remaining grounded and centered, and accessing your inner awareness and your higher-self.

Spiritual Possession Follow-up

Share Button

As we discussed in a previous article, we believe spiritual possession exacerbates, and can even be the root of, some, but not all, problems and traumas in life. However, from a spiritual standpoint, there are no victims, so we feel dark energy and lost souls cannot exclusively be blamed for someone’s troubles without considering why the person was affected in the first place.

It’s often the karma of the host to experience the challenges of possession, yet it’s also their responsibility to heal themselves by removing the energy and strengthening themselves in order to avoid such circumstances in the future.

Our belief is that everyone has the free will to remove most negative energy and perhaps all lost souls from themselves, and we recommend specific techniques such as our Spiritual Detox mediation audio and the spiritual cleansing script in our Direct Your Destiny ™ e-package.

Lost souls are far more common than people realize. Why are we convinced of this? Due to our meditation practices, empathic nature and since we avoid things that cloud perception, we often naturally perceive what most people miss. In fact, sometimes we wish we were a little less innately other-dimensional because it can be unsettling and cause perception overload at times, especially when lost souls gravitate towards us because they sense we might be able to help them. Sometimes we wonder if someone posted “lost souls welcome” signs at our homes and offices.

One recent example involving lost souls happened when Stephen moved into a new home. Even though he used sage and white Light to clear it the day he moved in, the place still didn’t feel right. That night he was about to fall asleep when he felt and perceived the shadow of a man standing next to his bed. Since he was exhausted and knew it was only a ghost, he decided to create a Light of protection in his bedroom for the night so he could sleep and wait until the next day to assist the soul. The following day, while reading aloud his Spiritual Protection script, he perceived two guides dressed as policemen (for Stephen’s benefit, so he’d realize they were helpers) escort a drunken lost soul to the Light. Apparently, the lost soul’s body had died in a DUI accident and at some point the entity had followed the previous owners of Stephen’s place home.

You have the free will to always protect yourself, but we also believe that some dark energy (or at least that which might be classified as such), under certain circumstances, has a divine purpose. Astrologically, Mars and Saturn, for example, can represent fated destruction, strife, and failure (among other things), which is a necessary part of life, like death.

It’s entirely reasonable to classify various blocks that hindered your love life years ago, for instance, as important parts of your path. Why do we believe this, you ask? Because patterns in comprehensive charts indicate key life events, such as you finally overcoming love life blocks at a certain time.

Overcoming it at an earlier time wasn’t an option, as dictated by your personal fate.

Remember, a certain amount (for some, a lot more than others, as reflected in the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts) of adversity and failure is a natural and necessary part of your earthly existence and serve important spiritual purposes, contrary to many of the inspirational messages in today’s self-help marketplace.

What’s that you say? We’re preaching doom and gloom fatalism? We understand why it may be viewed that way if you haven’t witnessed what we have through our ongoing empirical research involving our client base and other work, from which we objectively derive our theories.

It can be very challenging at times to convey our findings without sounding “negative,” differing greatly from views of other, more famous “experts,” or sounding too “out there” to the uninitiated. But the reality is that “bad” things, like spirit possession and attachment,  happen in life for good reasons, and we do our best to relay this, along with the reasons why, so you can better prepare, react in the most  positive way possible and enjoy a more satisfying life.

8 Signs of Possession

Share Button

Are you or someone you know being influenced by lost souls or dark energy?

There’s a world-wide epidemic today that most people don’t know much about. It’s a very common occurrence, yet it’s misunderstood and usually overlooked.

It’s called spirit possession. “The Exorcist” movie was an exaggeration of the phenomenon, and a depossession by a priest is only one way to deal with it. It’s also known as spirit attachment and demonic possession. It happens when lost (disembodied) souls and, or dark energy interfere with or even take control of someone.

It often occurs after the abuse of drugs or alcohol (because these substances weaken your energy field), it can occur during abuse, and some people who are highly sensitive (e.g., Britney Spears, in our opinion), are more susceptible to it than others. Even a poor diet or high levels of stress can cause sensitive people to be more of a target. Those with addictions are almost always affected by it.

Taking responsibility yourself and your situation can be the beginning of healing and protecting yourself, but it can be more difficult for some to do this due to already existing, potent interference from dark energy. Ironically, even those who want to help themselves can be persuaded, frequently beyond conscious awareness, by dark energy or lost souls to avoid seeking help. The will to improve, along with effective methods, must be present to fully heal.

Why do lost souls or dark energy feed off of a host, you might ask? They remain earthbound and attach themselves, energetically, to those from which they can get the fix of alcohol, drugs, nicotine, food, sex, power, revenge, or whatever else they were addicted to before their physical bodies died.

As for dark energy, demons and other negative influences that interfere, their motives can be as simple as an allegiance with an evil force.

In our experience, however, and contrary to scary Hollywood movies, most demons are more like bratty, misbehaving children who are more easily controlled than you may think.

By the way, long ago we didn’t believe in “evil” or “dark” energy. But since doing a lot of empirical research on the subject and subsequently helping people with Spiritual Detox, we are now convinced that it does exist. There always has been and always will be polar opposites, as a natural part of your earthy existence: without darkness there cannot be light, without cold there cannot be heat, without fear there cannot be faith.

For more stubborn entities and dark energies, we offer a more extensive method of asking for spiritual help through our script (available in the Direct Your Destiny e-package), Spiritual Detox audio, or private sessions.

The following list includes signs of being influenced by dark energy or lost souls.

1)  Do you or someone you know have negative emotional or physical reactions to the idea of Spiritual Detox TM (such as “part of you” wanting to do it and “part of you” not wanting to do it)?

2)  Do you or someone you know have, physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual feelings of being blocked?

3)  Do you or someone you know abuse alcohol or drugs? (The use of either allows lost souls or dark energy to influence you far more easily.)

4)  Did you or someone you know have a sudden onset of alcohol or drug abuse, or a sudden onset of a desire to smoke cigarettes, overeat, or engage in some other addictive, unhealthy behavior?

5)  Do you or someone you know have distinct personality changes while under the influence?

6)  Do you or someone you know sense an unexplainable presence in your/their home or office (sometimes referred to as a “ghost”)? It’s common to sense the presence when falling asleep or waking up in the middle of the night.

7)  Did you or someone you know have sudden and unexplainable strife and conflict with a partner, family member, or friend?

8)  Do you or someone you know have an addiction to sex, a sudden or unexplainable onset of sadness, depression, reckless behavior, poor memory and concentration, change in personality, feelings of being followed or feeling drained, schizophrenia, physical problems, recurring dreams or nightmares, anger, guilt or anxiety, or hear inner voices (especially with negative messages)?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, it’s likely you or someone you know is being influenced by “lost souls” and, or dark energy. But do not be afraid.

The subjects of entity attachment and spirit possession may seem frightening, but there’s really nothing to fear. It is simply a matter of energy that needs to be firmly directed to the proper place and knowing how to protect yourself.

One way to protect yourself is to avoid drugs and excess alcohol, visualize a white light of protection around you often, and ask for help from God, your guides, or angels of the Light. Simply state your request for help out loud.

Spirits in my Room at Night

Share Button

Many people have told us that they sometimes wake up at night and see, what appears to be, spirits in their bedroom.

There are several possible explanations for this experience.

The spirits may be lost souls who, after their physical bodies died, have not yet gone to “the Light.” Perhaps the deaths occurred nearby, or they simply follow some people home. This is more likely if you work in a hospital, live near a cemetery, or have recently visited either.

If this was the case, audibly telling them to “go to the Light” will help direct them to a better place as will asking your guides of the Light to help with the process.

They may have been souls (yours included) who are back from the future to see how things are progressing with you. We don’t have a lot of explanation for this one, but we think it’s possible and feel we’ve experienced it ourselves.

They may have been spirit guides checking in with you.

They may be the souls of people sleeping, or temporarily away from their bodies for some other reason, and something attracted them to you.

It’s fairly common to feel like there are souls or spirits in the same room with you. Though many mean well, it can be difficult to get a good night’s sleep when they drop by for a visit. It can help to clear and protect yourself and your bedroom by visualizing healing, white light before bed if you don’t want to be bothered.

Finally, this type of experience could involve some mischievous entities. They’re usually more bothersome, like bratty children, than dangerous, so there’s not much to fear if this is the case. Ask your guides of the Light for protection and surround your home and yourself nightly with white Light.

The practice of surrounding one’s self with white light has much to do with the power of intent; if you believe you’re protected, you are more likely to be protected.

We regularly have experiences related to what you’ve described.

One experience occurred in Miami during the first night Stephen was living in his new apartment. He was awakened at 3 AM feeling like someone was placing their hand on his leg. He turned on the light but no one was there, so he meditated and perceived a man in his late 20s who had died of a drug overdose in the apartment. He sensed the entity was scared and unsure of where to go. Stephen called in his guides of the Light, the young man’s guides of the Light, and guided him into the Light.

A few days later, Stephen checked with the apartment management and found out that the last apartment occupant, a man in his late 20s, had in fact died in the apartment, but management didn’t know the cause.

A second experience occurred in Los Angeles. Many times for over a year, Stephen was awakened in the middle of the night feeling that an older woman was standing in the doorway of his bedroom. Since this type of experience is common for Stephen, it didn’t bother him much, but he knew it was best for her (and him) to move on. On several occasions, he used sage, his guides, and white light to clear the space and help her go to the light, but she didn’t seem to want to leave.

Eventually Stephen stopped sensing her presence and recently happened to ask his neighbor if the previous occupant had died in his home. The neighbor’s eyes got very wide and he asked why, and Stephen told him about the night-time visitations. He said that yes, an older woman who used to live there had a stroke and died. He described the woman and Stephen felt that this very well might have been the soul of the same woman he was sensing.

While talking with his neighbor (who is a writer for TV sitcoms) about sensing the former occupant’s spirit, Stephen was joking about it, which seemed to startle the man even more than how Stephen knew that an older woman had died in the home. Hollywood is known for portraying death, the unseen planes, and other metaphysical topics as scary and even evil.

However, to Stephen, they’re neither scary nor evil, just a part of life.

Spiritual Detox Follow-up

The difference you feel after removing negative energy and, or entities is often proportionate to how much it/they were affecting you. Usually people feel an immediate difference after a clearing, accompanied by a deep feeling of peace.

The best way to verify that an entity is gone is to observe how you feel before and after the clearing. Also notice if any suspected, related symptoms weaken or disappear.

It’s important to note that there are different ways to release negative entities or negative energy. The methods we’ve outlined in prior articles have the best track record because entities are escorted to the Light by loved ones on the other side, not just forced out of the person’s body (as some priests do in exorcisms) for someone else to pick up.

It is possible for a soul or energy to attach to your soul before birth. There have been cases where the souls of people who died in a hospital joined babies before, during, or after birth. But there are no victims: Considering the belief that most key circumstances and events in people’s lives are fated, we feel that entity possession is a destined occurrence. Awareness of the phenomenon and the free will to clear negative energy and entities is also “part of the plan.”

Talking about or focusing too much on the released energy and, or entity can draw it back because you’re focusing on it. If you happen to think or speak of it, simply feel grateful that you are free of it and imagine protective white Light around you to shield yourself, affirming to yourself that it’s not welcome back.

Spiritual Detox – Symptoms of Spiritual Hitchhikers and Demons and How to Clear Your Aura

Share Button

Many people do need to cleanse their aura of negative energy, but some psychics try to capitalize on the fear surrounding the issue and charge outrageous fees. Too often, the unscrupulous psychics who attempt to charge such high rates don’t fully understand the issue of possession and how to successfully remove negative energy, let alone the basic principle of karma (what goes around comes around). These types of psychics are best avoided.

Negative energy can and does interfere with our lives. It consists of others’ thoughts and feelings, earth bound or lost souls, or on occasion, dark entities. Earth bound or lost souls are the souls of people who have died but, for various reasons, have not yet gone to “the Light.” Loved ones who have died, gone to the Light, and now watch over you do not fall into this category.

Symptoms of being influenced by negative energy or lost souls are feelings of being blocked, unexplainable or extreme anger, fears, sadness, depression, guilt, or anxiety, recurring dreams or nightmares, relationship problems, unexplainable physical symptoms, eating disorders, and the sudden onset of cravings for or addictions to alcohol, drugs, sex or smoking (especially if there are distinct personality changes while under the influence).

Other signs include negative emotional or physical reactions to the idea of cleaning your aura or spirit body (such as “part of you” wanting to do it and “part of you” not wanting to do it), reckless behavior, poor memory and concentration, hearing inner voices (especially with negative messages), feelings of being followed, feeling drained, sudden unexplainable physical problems, and recurring dreams or nightmares.

The most common ways of picking up such unwanted and uninvited energy is by weakening the energy field or aura with alcohol, drugs, extremely emotionally trying circumstances, or through sexual abuse, surgery, or illness. An almost guaranteed way of picking up “lost souls” (also known as spiritual hitchhikers) is by using drugs or drinking excessively and then walking through a hospital or cemetery. Unwanted, uninvited energy can also attach before birth, during birth, and during childhood.

Some ways to avoid picking up entities (especially important if you are more spiritually sensitive) include the following:

* Avoid drugs and excess alcohol.

* Avoid negative people.

* Mentally surround yourself with White Light whenever you think of it several times each day. Picture a bright light shining out from your solar plexus, surrounding, and protecting you whenever you think of it. Ask for assistance from God and/or guides of the Light.

* Mentally fill your home and/or office daily with White Light.

* Burn sage to help clear your energy field and residence. Upon hearing about the concept of entity possession or attachment, many people think of the movie The Exorcist. While the subject of possession was exaggerated in the movie for dramatic effect, entity possession or attachment can and does happen. Sometimes the symptoms of entity attachment are very subtle and go unnoticed, and sometimes a person can literally be taken over by one or more entities, sometimes dark, even from or before birth.

There are several books written about this subject, such as The Unquiet Dead, by Dr. Edith Fiore. In her book, Dr. Fiore explains that after people die, they usually go to “the Light,” as written about in many life after death books. Sometimes, however, souls don’t go to the Light for various reasons and instead remain earthbound. This is especially true in certain cases where someone dies angry, an addict of sex or any substance, or if they die a violent or sudden death. These souls resist going into the Light for various reasons and instead seek out and merge with someone in a physical body who can feed their addiction, has similar feelings of anger, depression, or other fears, or they may stay in close proximity to loved ones they knew while in a physical body. Often the intense feelings at the time of death are held onto and then felt by whomever the entity attaches to or merges with. Even though most entities don’t mean any harm they may still drain the energy of the host, causing tiredness or depression, and the host may easily mistake the entities’ thoughts and desires as his/her own.

Other books on the subject include SpiritReleasement Therapy by William J. Baldwin, D.D.S, Ph.D., RemarkableHealings by Shakuntala Modi, M.D., and Remote Depossession by Irene Hickman, D.O.

Some experts and therapists who help clients release entities believe that 85% or more of the population may have entities around them or within them that are interfering with their lives.

The subject of entity attachment may seem frightening, but there’s really nothing to fear. It is simply energy that needs to be firmly directed to the proper place.

Death, Spirit Possession & Mediums – Sometimes Souls Don’t go to the Light

Share Button

We recently heard of a case where an eight year-old girl’s aunt died of lung cancer and since the young girl was so close to her aunt, she told everyone to call her by her aunt’s name, insisted that her aunt’s clothes were hers, and began stealing her father’s cigarettes (her aunt died of lung cancer from smoking). At 33, the girl, now a woman, still likes to go by her deceased aunt’s name. She asked us if it’s possible she could be a medium for her deceased aunt. We told her the following.

What you are likely experiencing is called spirit possession or attachment. Instead of going to “the Light” when she died, your Aunt (her soul) chose to stick around. Souls choose to stay for various reasons, such as to watch over loved ones, because they’re afraid of “hell” (especially common with those personalities who were very religious), or to feed addictions.

Though she probably means well, at the very least, your Aunt is draining your energy. We recommend reading “The Unquiet Dead” by Dr. Edith Fiore. This is an excellent book on the subject and an interesting read. You’ll be surprised to learn how common possession is. In the back of the book is a great script we’ve used many times to gently send lost souls to “the Light.”

Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation floating around out there about this ghostly topic. A certain very well-known psychic who, for years has been making the rounds on TV talk shows, claims that there is “…no such thing” as possession.

Her simple, dismissive statement about this serious and often misunderstood subject is an injustice to the ground-breaking work done by researchers like Dr. Edith Fiore, Irene Hickman, Dr. William J. Baldwin, Dr. Shakuntala Modi, and others.

Moral of the story: Unless a seer is an expert in the area they comment on, it’s best to be careful about what you accept from them as truth. Even the best psychics do not have all the answers and are unable to provide absolute truth 100% of the time because they, like everyone else, sometimes have trouble putting aside their human “filters.” Everyone has their own unique fears and defenses, along with their own unique personal belief systems.

Possession, though not nearly as dramatic as the exaggerated scenes in the Hollywood movie The Exorcist, is very real and common. However, most attachments are just lost souls, like hitch-hikers, and simply need to be directed “home.”
