Metaphysical Terms 101: Basics, Misconstrued and Misused, Part II

Share Button

On your quest for spiritual truth, the last thing you need is misinformation.

Unfortunately, today’s New Age market is full of dead ends.

We list below the definitions of key spiritual terms, according to our empirical research since the 1980s, to help you cut through the cosmic debris and follow the most authentic spiritual path possible.

Fate: Here’s a word that is often distorted beyond recognition. It actually means the same as destiny. You’ve likely heard the phrase, “You can’t cheat fate.” We can’t emphasize enough how true we’ve found this to be, always. It would probably be easier to stop time.

You’ve also probably heard the phrase “nothing is set in stone.” Many psychics say this, perhaps to let their clients down easy when they foresee unpleasant events, or when they need an easy out if things don’t go as they say they would. But we’ve found that much in life is set in stone–that’s why we always recommend that you become more aware of your true self and highest path so you can capitalize on the rewarding parts of life.

Predestined: Life circumstances and situations chosen by your soul (higher-self) before you live this life so that you learn specific spiritual lessons. Our findings tell us that at least 75% of the major events and conditions (challenges and rewards) of everyone’s life are fated.

Karma: Many people use this word accusingly, and often incorrectly. What they often don’t realize is that if something “bad” happens to someone they consider a negative person, it has more to do with that person’s past life actions. For example, just because a woman has a habit of “loving and leaving” men, it doesn’t mean that she created karma in this life that caused a man she liked to do the same to her in this life. More likely, it was destined for the man to leave her for one or more of multiple past life karmic reasons.

Your “good” and “bad” karma is collected and worked through over many lifetimes. The theory of karma indicates that all actions, words, thoughts, and intent will return to you, and usually not in the same life. People only get away with things until the karma catches up to them–the direct consequences are always inescapable.

Karmic Reason: The spiritual reason, the cause, which stems from circumstances in previous incarnations.

Root Cause: The origin of the problem, often connected to the karmic reason.

Cycles and Timing: Recurring patterns that symbolize life occurrences. We’ve found that life is cyclical, that it can be outlined by comprehensive numerology and astrology, and natal patterns and cyclical timing methods represent life happenings; they don’t “affect” you or “make” things happen. Good timing really is important, and can be identified in conjunction with specific goals.

Lost souls: We believe that your soul is eternal and the physical body is a temporary home for it. However, upon the death of the physical body, some souls stick around on the earth-plane instead of going to the “Light.” Common reasons include addictions and a violent or sudden death. Some may not fully grasp that their physical body has perished since they still feel alive.

They can interfere with or drain your energy and sometimes it’s not easy to distinguish their thoughts, cravings, and emotions from your own. Instead of just noting their existence with electronic equipment like select ghost hunting shows do, we recommend helping them (and yourself) and guiding these lost souls to the “Light” by asking for assistance from other-dimensional spiritual helpers (A helpful script about how to do so is in our Direct Your Destiny e-package, or try our Spiritual Detox audio MP3.)

The best approach to gain the most spiritual awareness possible is to keep an open mind, yet maintain a decent sense of discernment. Explore for yourself, cross check, and scrutinize various theories before accepting them as part of your belief system. In time, you’ll know if a concept rings true or not.

3 Most Overlooked Factors of Why Your Life is the Way it is

Share Button

The bulk of self-empowerment coaches and motivational speakers tell you that there are only two main elements that matter in getting what you want in life:

1. Taking positive action
2. Thinking positive thoughts (to attract what you want)

If it were only that easy. There is no shortage of those who do both and fail to live the life of their dreams.

Limited Viewpoint

Such an approach to life is based on a belief that your life circumstances are only the result of two things: what happens in your life; and your response to what happens in your life.

The latter is a presumption based on the idea that if you react the right way to what you encounter in life, you can easily create any reality you want. We are firm believers of the notion that you can make the most of your life, largely by how you handle and capitalize on your life circumstances, but there’s more to it than that.

The former can imply a type of victim consciousness. For example, if your lover cheated on you, would you consider that you (from a spiritual perspective) and the unrealistic expectation of blissful, mutually fulfilling, life-long monogamy may have just as much to do with the issue as she does, or would you take the most common approach (e.g., “poor me”) and blame her entirely?

Expand Your Horizons

If you want to understand more about yourself, why you are here, and how you can best serve the world and yourself, you must look beyond the scope of this single lifetime. Accepting the eternity of your soul, thus the theory of reincarnation, you realize that you have unfinished business (in “bad” and “good” ways) from multiple lifetimes and this is why you (your soul) have returned to Earth.

However, don’t worry about the possibility of being the villain in your past lives because everyone has played that role. As part of a tribe of conquerors during the Middle Ages, for example, you may have raided a village, unmercifully made the captors your slaves and weren’t very kind to them. However, you also saved many lives and helped to defeat an oppressive ruler. What goes around comes around.

Missing Keys

Our empirical research involving personality analysis, cyclical timing assessment (prediction and forecasting), past life regression, and predestination has shown us that there are three commonly overlooked facets to your reality:

1. Your karmic blueprint, which includes your past life debts and credits (whether you choose to believe in past lives or see them as symbolism, they still mirror and affect your reality today, as we’ve seen in countless case studies), as well as key, current life circumstances and personality characteristics, some alterable, and some not.

2. Your unique timing, which is linked to your karmic blueprint/life structure. Everyone’s timing is different, and everyone progresses (or regresses) through multitudes of cycles of various lengths, of which the energy may or may not be conducive to the fulfillment of their goals. Spiritually speaking, the goal is often less important than what is learned through attempting to fulfill the goal.

3. Your compatibility with others is reflected largely by your karmic blueprint and timing, which holds the keys to how you knew each other in the past, what needs to be learned this time, and more.

Everyone of significance in your life has an enduring cosmic link to you and you’ve likely spent time with them in multiple past lives, in various roles. How you get along now is a sign to how things were back then.

All three can be discerned in the comprehensive astrology and numerology charts and, or an intuitive reading, and handwriting analysis can be used to uncover subconscious character.

Perhaps the reason why these concepts are over-looked so frequently is because it’s complicated enough to deal with this life without seriously contemplating the spiritual reasons for life’s dilemmas.

But life becomes less complicated as you learn more about who you really are and your journey this time around. All the unimportant stuff melts away as you align yourself with your highest path and you can then capitalize on your timing to make the most of your life.

We readily agree that your attitude and proactive behavior can take you far, but there’s so much more to it than that, in our view.

Personal Adversity Will Always Exist

Share Button

Unique levels of unavoidable personal adversity exist for everyone and they are discernible in comprehensive numerology and astrology charts.

This finding of ours greatly clashes with modern, New Age spirituality.

As most anyone will admit, life can be unpleasant at times, but you can’t just wave a magic wand, call on the “Lords of Karma,” or read a best-selling, inspirational, spiritual book and make the distasteful parts of life (i.e., your challenging personal karma) disappear. You must face your own personal challenges squarely because that is how you attain soul growth and balance your spiritual debts.

Wishful Thinking

There exists a “you can be anything you want to be–just believe you can” attitude that permeates not only New Age doctrine, but most of Western society. It’s easy to wholeheartedly embrace this unless you’ve seen the recurring comprehensive numerology and astrology patterns linked to real life circumstances, clearly indicating that no one can be or have anything they want, unless that desire fits within their personal fate.

Whether you believe it or not, your life is intimately connected to the cyclical nature of life, based on your moment and location of birth, along with your other birth data. We’ve found that at least 75% of the main circumstances and events in everyone’s (even those who don’t believe in destiny or karma) lives are predestined: what was, is, and what will be is symbolized by the hidden rhythms and predictable cycles that allow for empirical scientific assessment and projection.

We Fell Into The Same Trap

Before knowing any better in the late 1980s, we fell into the “if you believe, you can achieve anything” trap. Today, we firmly believe (after countless hours of empirical research) in the “if you believe, you can achieve–if it fits within your destined path” concept.

Not being able to have or become everything you want can be difficult to accept. What’s the best way to deal with dreams that may be out of your reach? Aside from acceptance, the better you know yourself the more your desires will be aligned with your karmic blueprint and personal fate, and the more likely you will be to achieve your goals.

Know Thyself

Knowing yourself goes far beyond the limits of your academic testing scores, musical and culinary tastes, or physical abilities. Getting to know your true self also involves your subconscious mind (as seen through handwriting analysis, for example), along with your spiritual heritage which includes your karma and fate, as sought, for example through meditation and, or past life regression.

Interpreting Fate

There exist New Age writers today who claim that some people have incarnated this time around with minimal karma, and therefore their fate can’t really be interpreted. We disagree and believe it’s a matter of going deeper, beyond modern methods, to uncover the hidden dynamics of personal destiny. Everyone’s life matters and everyone has an important mission or missions in life, even if it may seem insignificant on the surface, such as offering endless unconditional love to family and friends, for instance.

We have yet to find anyone completely or even mostly free of any of the rough stuff in life. Although someone might have less severe negative karma than average, their fate can still be interpreted.

Fate Seen In The Comprehensive Charts

Employing a complex enough system of checks and balances, you see extremes of destined circumstances and everything in between: affluence, poverty; wellness, disease; unconditional acceptance, intolerance; togetherness, solitude; recognition and fame, obscurity, and much more. By the way, we’ve found that it’s frequently easier to spot challenges rather than rewards in the charts.

There Are Only Two Ways to Reach an Honest Conclusion About Personal Fate

Predestination is witnessed through the objective viewing of the patterns in the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts and past lives of many people, over many years and, as we say above, finding recurring associations between those patterns and life circumstances. We know of no other way to effectively conclude that predestination exists, aside from using strong psychic abilities to consistently predict future life events.

Exclusive Usage of Modern Methods Will Fail You

By the way, if an astrologer tells you they rely exclusively on transit, and or progressed charts for prediction, we recommend you get a second opinion (unless they are consistently very psychic and use some basic cycles as touchstones only). Those types of (surface) indicators are best used for contributing to an existing, extensive analysis involving multiple layers of indicators, just as the “Happy Birthday!” written in icing on a cake is only to top it off; it isn’t the whole cake by any means.

How do we reach this conclusion, you ask? We’ve determined, through an enormous amount of trial and error over many years, that exclusive usage of such methods (and many other modern methods) for outlining personal fate (e.g., prediction) results in very low accuracy levels.

“Experts” Who Deny The Concept of Personal Fate

It’s amazing that so much credit is thoughtlessly given to those who deny the concept of personal fate, those who don’t even bother to test their belief through comparing the symbolism of cyclical timing methods to real life events and, or using psychic research to outline fated future circumstances.

Would you respect an “expert” who denies the existence of tsunamis, never having left the confines of his home state of South Dakota? Or an “expert” who denies the existence of emotional pain due to romantic troubles who has never had a relationship? Of course not.

New Age Best Selling Authors-Poets

It’s common in today’s New Age marketplace to find former journalists, doctors, or psychiatrists (and others who use the instant credibility of their former professions to boost their New Age careers) who very creatively address the hot topic of “influencing or completely altering the divine order of life” (erasing personal fate without having to directly balance it).

They say, “Can it be done?” Perhaps they’re asking the question to themselves because they haven’t done any work involving the outlining or prediction of personal fate. You’ll find hundreds of pages in one or more of their books hopping, skipping, bouncing, and twirling around the topic, ultimately denying that personal fate and karma exist (and denying that personal adversity is unavoidable), building infinite hope made of a house of cards and praying you don’t notice that they base their views purely on creative subjectivity, bloated optimism, and a desire for a best-seller; no doubt they’ll say whatever it takes to keep you on the hook, knowing you might ditch them if they drop the “heart-centered” (i.e., pretense), folk-singing-like prose and get too “fatalistic.” Very few of them ever answer the question directly at all.

To offer only conjecture along with statements such as “Tons in life happens that seems to go against the laws of nature,” makes a “spiritual” writer ultimately appear more like a New Age wordsmith, in our view. But if you like to read that sort of thing, and prefer to view spirituality as an escape rather than a means of self discovery, go right ahead. Lots of people like poetry and we love inspiration too, but only if it’s rooted in spiritual truths.

Cold, Hard, Realities of Life

To some, that might seem too dark and pessimistic. After all, with all the stress and demands in life who wants to face the cold, hard truth of personal adversity, fate, and karma? The purpose is about taking complete responsibility for your life, knowing that you have free will to prepare for challenges and capitalize on more rewarding moments, and accepting the perfectly equitable nature of this universe, which also encourages treating others as you would like to be treated.

We predict that one day these concepts will be universally taught, understood, accepted, and practiced from a young age. Until then, the cycle of karma continues.

The Trivialization of Metaphysics Trap

Share Button

Avoid this trap at all costs: Denying the fact that innate challenges and harsh realities of life exist in various and unique forms for everyone, many of which are unalterable, and instead exclusively embracing frivolous renderings of astrology, number mysticism, palmistry or other ancient disciplines that include warped philosophies which promise you the moon.

This course of action is ultimately detrimental to your best interest because it can lead to grave disappointment, and wasted time and money. Aside from temporarily inspiring you, similar to a sugar high while binging on sweets, getting caught in this trap can interfere with your goals, delay their attainment, and cause you to forfeit some of your authentic, higher-self aspirations while you chase rainbows.

Forcing a metaphysical practice such as astrology, which in its most authentic form is about character assessment and the outlining of personal fate (e.g. prediction), into a motivational, superficial format, where practitioners make it almost purely about inspiration (in the pursuit of their financial gain), would cause the celebrated ancients, if alive today, to demand that they be put on trial for fraud.

If You’ve Fallen Into This Trap, You’re Not Alone

Many have made this mistake for one main reason: They think to themselves, for example, “Well, if she’s on the radio and featured in major press, she should be able to solve my problems, right?” Unfortunately, wrong. Countless consumers have confused clever marketing, the ability to get good press (i.e., paying for it in one way or another, in the majority of cases), and a talent for motivational speaking with the ability to provide solutions to their problems.

Here’s a quote from a New Age marketer, one who sells inspirational seminars: “You can overcome anything–any obstacle–to achieve anything you want. It all comes down to your choices. Only the choices you make determine your success, and I will empower you to be on the right path to success. And only you can predict your future. I would never do you such a disservice like putting a prediction in your head about your future that would preoccupy and distract you. That isn’t empowering at all.”

Imagine if you took your car in to be serviced and the auto mechanic said to you, “I’m not going to put an idea in your head of something that’s wrong with your car, so that you’ll obsess over it. Instead, you’ll pay me $5000.00 for a 2-day seminar where we’ll sing the praises of your car and make it the best year of your car’s life!”

That isn’t “empowering.”

When a disciple fails, unfortunately, the inspirational coach tells them, “Well, you had the right attitude, but you just made some wrong choices.”

Realize that choice and attitude aren’t the only quotients. There are many equally talented, wise, proactive, and prudent private equity pros, for example, but the most financially successful ones, in our view, have worked lifetimes to get to where they are now.

Look, we’re all for inspiration (if grounded in reality), dreams, and excitement about making your life the best it can be, but if there’s something you need to face squarely, wouldn’t you rather deal with it so you can move on instead of planting your head in the sand?

How to Escape the Trap

It’s not easy to back out of the primrose path of illusion once you’ve been wandering down it for a while. It can be distressing to face the truth, but you can do it.

First, refuse to buy into wild promises. Everything has a price; financially or otherwise. A long list of glowing testimonials might very well indicate that the person selling something she says you desperately need is merely creatively entrepreneurial in collecting and implementing them (such as through select “master-mind” groups, where members strategize and post rave reviews on each other’s websites); the hype and insincerity bleeds through once you peel away the veneer.

The self-congratulatory inspirational marketers proclaim things such as “See, look what I’ve achieved–if you follow my advice you can achieve anything!” But if their primary source of revenue is from conducting seminars and doing paid inspirational speeches, yet they haven’t seemed to have made big money doing what they teach, assume something is amiss (and wonder if they even have a conscience).

By all means, if you find an inspirational coach or marketer who has a great track record regarding helping people become more successful, go for it. Just keep it in perspective; nobody can help you side-step reality and cheat your personal fate no matter how much you pay them.

We recommend you focus heavily on seeking self-knowledge, which is gained through disciplines such as astrology, number mysticism, meditation, past life regression, and others. In becoming aware of your personal fate, life lessons, and your true self you’ll stop going after unrealistic, unachievable goals, and will be able to fully capitalize on your strengths and favorable timing.

Wouldn’t you rather have the peace of mind that self-knowledge fosters, and even be able to prepare more thoroughly for life’s challenges, than ignorantly assume that you lack any limits whatsoever and that reaching all your dreams is only an expensive seminar away?

Strive to become more aware of yourself and your highest path so you can spend time and energy creating that which is in line with your destiny and you’ll never get caught in this common trap again.

We’re often asked which metaphysical and spiritual books we recommend.

You’ll find some grains of truth, wisdom, and plenty of inspiration (“You can do it!–ra-ra!”) in most metaphysical publications, especially the best-sellers.

After all, you would think so many people purchased them due to worthwhile content, instead of just a big name author or very effective public relations and marketing. At least we hope so.

You may not like us after reading this article. But if you heed our advice, you will eventually forgive us, even thank us, for helping you save enormous amounts of time and money in your spiritual journey. We would much rather generate positive karma (how selfish of us!) than lead you down a path of illusion just to make a quick buck.

If you’re new to metaphysics, or simply want to gain a more thorough understanding of it, we recommend titles that objectively cover the basics, such as reincarnation, personal karma, fate, destiny (same as fate in our view), and meditation, among others. A basic understanding of numerology, astrology, and other self-discovery tools can be very helpful, but knowing only a little of any esoteric science can do more harm than good unless you develop and rely more heavily upon your intuition.

Why are these subjects so important? There’s a good reason why they are an essential part of most of the major non-Western religions and spiritual philosophies of the world. Once you understand the inner-workings of these sacred subjects, your life and the world around you will make more sense.

Regarding astrology and numerology, we recommend works (or modern-day, objective interpretations of those works) prior to the 1600s AD (with some exceptions). While we value some forms of personality analysis using select forms of modern, psychological astrology and numerology, we’ve found the bulk of modern methods to be too subjective and recklessly creative, thus invalid.

Whatever titles you choose, beware if an author’s theories and messages deny personal fate and karma and he or she refuses to acknowledge that varying amounts of personal adversity is necessary for spiritual growth.

Imagine that! The seemingly unavoidable trials you’ve had involving finances, your health, or those with a lover, family, or a boss, ultimately resulted in you being a much wiser person. Who would have thought it possible that you could be grateful for such experiences and that they served you perfectly?

Too many of the well-known authors in the New Age and spiritual arena exclude discussions or even a mention of hard spiritual truths such as those involving the not-so-fun parts of life and those relating to your spiritual checks and balances.

This may be because they haven’t studied the concepts and lack an awareness of their importance. Or it may be because fate and karma greatly contradict with the main messages of their book or books, at times even rendering their claims or steps to success totally invalid.

Personally, we feel we owe it to our readers and clients to be candid about fate, karma, and other metaphysical issues. We may initially lose some potential clients who don’t want to confront the realities of these topics, but since people are better off in the long-run with the awareness we are often thanked later. We’re simply sharing the results of 20 plus years of our empirical research, without an agenda, and without a rigid marketing platform that disallows information that isn’t 100% cheery, uplifting, or inspirational.

The following are quotes from various, well known spiritual and metaphysical authors and teachers, along with our comments to show you how, in our well researched opinions, they are misleading people.

“Life is supposed to be good for you. You can be, do, or have anything that you desire.”

And if you just buy this book, you’ll instantaneously manifest a life of pure ease and luxury, erasing any and all of your negative karma, having anything you want! Sorry, that’s pure, fanciful, wishful thinking. There is no utopia and anyone who tries to sell it is either delusional or trying to pull the wool over your eyes for their own financial gain.

“Did you know that you have the power to eliminate all of the struggles in your life?”

Sure, just change your thinking and all your problems will disappear! This has to do with a secret (New Age), spiritual formula, otherwise known as denial and self-delusion. Yes, how you perceive your life circumstances can make a difference, but it will not allow you to skip karma that was set in motion before you were born, or side-step important, challenging life circumstances that serve to strengthen your soul.

“Inside, you’ll find all the tools you need to get anything you want out of life.”

The last page in this book has one word in size 17, bold font: “Sucker!” Really, there are no magic-bullet solutions to life’s complexities, as most realize (or will realize, in time).

“…will help you learn how to manifest your desires so that you’re living the joyous and fulfilling life you deserve. …It’s your birthright to live a life filled with everything that is good- and this book will show you how to make it so in every way!”

As we’ve stated many times in previous articles, we have found through extensive empirical research that everyone’s birthrights are different, and no one is entitled to anything they have not earned in a karmic sense. Everything that is good they say? Without “bad” there would be no “good.”

We half expect to soon see New Age books making promises such as, “You deserve to overcome the need to defecate” and, “It’s your birthright to feel full of energy without ever sleeping again!”

“The world of endless possibilities is awaiting you.”

Not really. What is waiting for you is what your soul has planned before you incarnated, and this may clash with what your ego-self (personality) wants.

“…Allows you to balance your key emotions in order to reach your destiny.”

Simply “balancing your emotions” to get whatever you want is like just pasting an insincere smile on your face in an attempt to feel true fulfillment. Your destiny is not a destination, it’s not “the life of your dreams” involving all the trappings of material and romantic success, and it’s only sometimes what you consciously choose. It’s your personal fate, and your soul dictates it, not your conscious mind.

It’s ironic that the author of this book uses the word destiny in the title but clearly doesn’t even understand its true meaning, the constant meaning that has been associated with the word since the ancients began predicting personal fate!

“…Helps you get in touch with the inexhaustible and natural flow of wealth. Once you tap into that flow, you can maintain and increase it indefinitely… You deserve to live a life of freedom, flow and trust.”

Increase wealth indefinitely? We teach, such as in our Direct Your Destiny e-package, how to make the most of your life. We believe you do have free will to reach destined goals, and those that fit within your personal karmic and fated plan. However, no New Age or spiritual authors, to our knowledge, have directly or even indirectly helped to produce any billionaires, ever, but today there certainly are a lot of millionaire snake-oil sales people, er, ah, we mean New Age inspirational authors. There exists personal limits in life and you can’t reach any particular goal unless it’s your fate to do so. If you don’t believe this, you would if you had done as much objective work in this field as we have. It’s impossible to deny the astonishing correlations between personal fate, karma, and past life regression work, well honed intuition, and the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts.

“Life is magical. It doesn’t have to be difficult. The universe that we each experience can be a luminous one. Your life can be all you imagine.”

We agree that life is magical, and as long as you have a great imagination, you can imagine anything you want. In fact, imagination is a great tool to help bridge the gap to reality. But those dreams will not become reality unless they are part of your destined path. The good news is that if you’re centered and grounded (regular meditation helps), you will naturally tend to draw your focus toward goals and dreams that are destined for you.

“One’s positive thoughts are powerful magnets that attract wealth, health, happiness.”

This is extracted from one of the biggest selling metaphysical books published in recent years. We’ve written about it in prior articles.

It’s unfortunate that this overly simplistic spiritual viewpoint, while denying all other conflicting spiritual laws, implies that people who suffer natural disasters or who die in plane crashes, for example, must have been low on positive thoughts that day.

Are these authors selling their souls to the devil to make a buck? Most of them likely mean well (we hope!), but just be wary of major life-changing claims. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Hey, we’re all for lots of inspiration, but if it’s not grounded in spiritual truth, ultimately it’s not going to be for your highest good. Do you now see why the New Age has earned a bad reputation?

Commercially-corrupted versions of spirituality are hot sellers because the packaging is captivating, the marketing is powerful, instantaneous credibility is given to almost anyone who appears in mainstream media, a sheep-herd mentality exists, and people have always looked for immediate gratification and quick fixes.

We recommend reading whatever you’re attracted to, as bits of wisdom and inspiration, often just what you need at the time, can be found in most books. But keep in mind that if the author promises, for example, a perfectly compatible soul mate or over-flowing financial abundance, these may not be your personal birthrights and such lofty goals are not going to be reached unless they are part of a person’s destined path. Everyone’s personal fate is different.

Within all self-help, inspirational, and spiritual books, we would like to see a one page disclaimer about the reality of fate and karma, and personal adversity, and how any promises the author makes aren’t applicable to everyone, or even anyone. But then again, perhaps it’s not everyone’s personal fate and karma to be aware of the concepts of fate and karma, despite their lives being ruled by them.

How Much Choice Do You Really Have? — Fate vs. Free Will

Share Button

We would agree that everyone has at least some choice in life but we feel that most “choose” to do that which aligns with their fate regardless of how much decision-making power they think they have. As outlined in previous columns, our belief is that everyone has far more power of choice in spirit form before they incarnate.

Our view is that people generally don’t change and that at least 75% of personal circumstances and events for everyone are predestined. If people did change, nobody would remain as they are and nobody would match the myriad of personality traits, events, and circumstances symbolized (quite clearly through comprehensive methods if the analyst is going about it correctly) in their numerology and astrology charts. We’ve observed, time and time again, that people don’t ever “choose” to do something that’s out of line with who they are as defined by in-depth numerology and astrology charting, even if they’re unaware of their charts.

Some might call us “fatalists,” and incorrectly label our positions as overly-cynical and void of “promise,” but please understand that we are simply relaying the results of our research. If the idea of predestination discourages you in any way, know that you have the ability to “get what you want,” on a personality and ego-self level at least some of the time, as long as the desired result doesn’t conflict with your earthly path.

For example, your fate might deny you enduring sizzling romance with your spouse; but you apply your free will, decide to make the most of your connection by emphasizing the rewarding parts and therefore enrich your life through the expression of gratitude.

Those who have patterns in the comprehensive charts symbolizing the following random traits or circumstance, for example, will “choose” to behave a certain way (at the appropriate time, indicated by the timing charts) that supports the manifestation of a related event, regardless of whether or not they believe in fate.

*Aggressive

*Affluent

*Social

*Family oriented

*Romantic

*Sexually assertive

*Partnership oriented

*Spiritually disciplined

*Friendship oriented

*Antagonistic

*Submissive

*Expressive

*Linguistic

*Versatile

*Traditional

*Secretive

*Controlling

*Altruistic

Furthermore, people whose primary motivation is recognition, for instance, will “choose” the options that offer them the most fame and recognition, and they will have the opportunity to manifest it if it’s their destined path.

People who are naturally highly motivated by money will “choose” the path with the highest compensation, and will manifest amounts in accordance with their fate, considering they act on their inborn desire, which they invariably do. People who have great lifetime money aspects in their comprehensive charts will “choose” the path where they make a lot more money than most people.

Alternatively, people who have very challenging lifetime money aspects in their comprehensive charts will “choose” the path where they don’t acquire much money, or they will acquire money and then lose some or all of it by “choosing” ill-advised, high-risk investments, for example.

Those who have aspects in their comprehensive charts for having happy family relationships will “choose” to do things that encourage that. People who have aspects in their comprehensive charts for having unhappy family relationships will “choose” to do things that promote those circumstances.

People who have not-so-great love karma will repeatedly “choose” partners who cheat on them or who are otherwise unreliable.

People who have strong addiction aspects (food, alcohol, drugs, etc.) will “choose” to overindulge, again and again.

Emotionally needy people (as easily discerned through handwriting analysis) will “choose” to never be alone by “choosing” to either stay complacently in a relationship that is over, or by leaving a connection as soon as they find someone else with whom they can form a relationship.

Hollywood actors who have great lifetime fame and recognition aspects will “choose” the path that allows them to become famous. Hollywood actors who have terrible fame and recognition aspects will “choose” the path that provides them relative obscurity. People who have great fame aspects, along with “fall from grace” aspects, will “choose” the paths that allow for fame and also infamy.

It’s good to assertively direct your energy toward goal achievement, but even the most goal oriented and motivated person will admit that often life seems to “happen to” them. Circumstances beyond your control will nudge and often times push you in the predestined direction. The best anyone can do is to make the most of themselves and their fate, strive for self-awareness, change what they can, accept what they can’t change, and stay open for clues about the next best step in all areas of life.

Yes, everyone has the power to choose, but they invariably “choose” what feels right, and what feels right is consistently in harmony with their fate.

DNA and Reincarnation – The Theory of DNA Genetic Coding is Connected to Predestination

When young children are asked the right questions, such as “What did you do when you were big? Who were you when you were big?” they can sometimes tell you quite a bit about their previous lives. A good book on the subject is Children’s Past Lives: How Past Life Memories Affect Your Child, by Carol Bowman.

DNA and reincarnation can’t be physically linked so DNA testing would not verify reincarnation. DNA is related to the physical body, not the spiritual body. Reincarnation is the spiritual body coming back again and again.

Does this disprove reincarnation? We consider reincarnation a theory and you can’t prove theories valid, you can only invalidate them. Reincarnation has yet to be invalidated.

In situations where parents have discovered shockingly solid links to what a child says and actual deceased people, there’s a strong case in favor of reincarnation, but that doesn’t qualify as the physical evidence needed to convince the strongest skeptics. In our view, “proof” is unimportant because whether the past life recall is real or subconscious metaphor, past-life exploration is a fantastic self-discovery and healing tool.

As we’ve stated before, we don’t believe in “chance.” For example, it’s common to receive confirmations after experiencing a past life regression, such as researching and corroborating names and dates received in regression or later meeting people who somehow fit into the puzzle.

As identical twins, we have identical DNA, yet our unique personalities and distinct physical differences point to the idea that human life is much more than just biological science. One must consider the influence of spirit too; every body is occupied by a unique soul and the qualities and detriments of that soul shine through in physical form.

While we find hereditary and environmental scientific theories interesting, including the idea that much of character is determined by genes/DNA, we view them as superficial in relation to the migration of the soul and other non-physical considerations; spiritual considerations overshadow mundane, modern-scientific, earthly ones, just as the vast universe overshadows this planet.

We feel that the theory of DNA genetic coding, which represents predetermined  physical, emotional, and psychological makeup and is supported by behavioral geneticists, is connected to predestination in that souls choose the most appropriate bodies for what needs to be experienced on Earth.

In this line of thinking, the decisions one makes once in the body on a personality level (including those relating to relationships and children), the way they “choose” to act and emotionally react, the way they think, and thus the way they behave, are largely fated. We see truth in this philosophy because we regularly and consistently outline all of the aforementioned personality dynamics, along with past, present, and future conditions and circumstances through our work, thereby decisively and repeatedly substantiating the concept of fate.

Free Will, Karma, and Fate – Self-Mastery Won’t Allow Your Future to be Less Fixed

We find the level of ease in predicting life circumstances and events for those who are less self-aware is the same as it is for those who are more self-actualized.

If someone is fated to experience specific life situations, they will experience them regardless of what choices they make. From a spiritual viewpoint, there is less freedom in decision-making than most people seem to want to believe. Based on our empirical research, a lot more in life is destined than people may want to accept.

Are we saying that since so much is fated in life that it’s a waste of time to explore metaphysical concepts, or for that matter, to set and strive toward personal goals and make an effort to get as much as possible out of life? Absolutely not.

We never advocate a passive, unproductive approach to life, other than letting go of trying to change what you can’t change. First, one must “know thyself.” Then a person can work toward his or her goals that are within their personal karmic plan.

Someone might ask, “If everything was mapped out for us, wouldn’t we just be robots following orders placed by our higher selves? We do have some sort of freedom, don’t we?”

In large part, if you want to view it that way, yes, each of us are simply following through within our own unique karmic directives, putting one foot in front of the other to manifest fate.

Look at it this way: each of us incarnates to learn specific spiritual lessons. If we had as much free will as we have before we incarnate as we do while we are incarnated, how many people do you think would actually chose to experience the tough lessons, or any lessons at all aside from absolute ego-self gratification?

As we’ve said before, we have found that everyone has some freedom to “create” within karmic boundaries while on this earth, but not nearly as much as most people seem to want to believe. If people could become “anything” they want to become, nobody would remain what they are.

The charts show that there is no escape from what could be termed as soul responsibilities: necessary personal experiences while incarnated on Earth. The good news is that there is relief through acceptance, detachment, and unconditional love.

How to Know What is Fated in Your Life

Meditation is one of the best ways to escape an over-active mind, become centered, and connect with one’s spiritual self. When you are centered you are better able to intuitively know when something is for your highest good.

Other ways to become more aligned with your higher-self, thus more aware of the next best step in all areas of life include the following: spend more time alone; avoid TV; avoid excessive alcohol; avoid drugs (even occasional use clouds perception); avoid junk food/emotional eating; avoid sugar and caffeine (promotes mind-scattering and the numbing of feelings); exercise regularly; read more; get more sleep; and spend time in nature. All of these ideas will help you to detach from your ego-self.

Various forms of meditation exist, yet the commonly acknowledged purist and most efficient way involves simple intense focus. Sitting comfortably in a chair or on the floor with your back straight, eyes closed, breathing relaxed, and your focus intently on your chest plate for twenty minutes or longer will help you detach from the conscious mind and be more in touch with your subconscious mind and higher-self.

This meditative process also helps to release a natural feel-good opiate from the brain. These endorphins have been clinically proven to aid in healing.

Don’t be discouraged if it takes you weeks or even months to become proficient in meditation. With practice, you’ll get the hang of it and benefit greatly. You’ll also instinctively know what to do and when to do it. You’ll eventually stop wasting time on things that are not relevant to your highest path because they’ll seem insignificant.

Alternative forms of meditation include running, walking, swimming, reading, knitting, drawing, painting, writing, and other activities that allow you to get into a “zone.”

It’s also important to consider when you first desire something. Timing really is everything, and comprehensive predictive numerology and astrology provide invaluable insight into all areas of life.

Numerology and astrology are two ancient, empirical sciences that provide self-knowledge and peace of mind. They can also help you be aware of and prepare for challenging and rewarding times in your life, help you to further understand why you are here on earth, and to know what type of action is best taken at what time. It’s best to consult with an expert since there are many aspects to consider, but one of the more important timing indicators can be tracked easily by anyone. It’s called Moon Void of Course.

There are specific times every few days when the Moon is in between signs, or Void of Course. New ideas originated, plans made, or people met during this time usually turn out differently, if at all. Following the information in our Moon Void of Course article will help save you time and money and be much smarter about your decisions. Please keep in mind that there are many, many important astrological and numerological considerations, but the above-mentioned one is a good starting point.

“If you do not make the mistake of many and set up your will in opposition to Divine law, you will fulfill that high destiny for which you were chosen.” –George Washington

No matter how mundane or ordinary one’s life appears, every person’s path is an extraordinarily unique, and necessary part of collective universal destiny.

While those who act in opposition to “Divine” law, in our opinion, are fated to do so as part of chosen paths by their spiritual selves, and as symbolized by the patterns in their numerology and astrology charts, those who strive for more in life are also fulfilling what is to be.

Free Will & Manifestation – How Karma, Fate and Predestination Block Your Efforts

Prior to years of comprehensive study and constant objective empirical research through ancient metaphysical delineation and predictive sciences (since 1992 involving the numerology and astrology charts of over 20,000 different people), we too mistakenly believed we could create anything our ego-selves desired.

Our studies and research allow us to conclude that an extremely high percentage of everyone’s major life circumstances and particulars are unavoidably etched in the rock of fate.

We consistently and accurately outline key conditions and experiences in anyone’s future (provided we have all birth data) including “gurus” who claim they are able to “consciously create” 100% of their realities, matching their conscious demands, as they live their lives.

Once you have witnessed, as we have, the continual recurrence of patterns in the numerology and astrology charts completely representing situations in peoples’ lives, you will stop rejecting the idea of fate.

An ideal love life, unlimited financial abundance, perfect health, constantly harmonious personal relationships and more would be nice, but we are now entirely certain that it “ain’t gonna happen” if it’s not part of the path that your soul mapped out before you incarnated.

For example, despite what you might see on TV about finding a compatible romantic partner, like the best-selling author promoting her book about finding the perfect husband in less than a year (“I did it and you can too!”), everyone’s karma is different and what works for one person (because it fits his/her karmic blueprint) may fail for the next (being outside of his/her earthly plan).

“Learn valuable lessons about commitment and betrayal by experiencing a difficult spouse? Forget it! Instead, I’ll create the perfect relationship!” “Endure a period of financial limitations to learn about financial acumen? Nah, I’ll create infinite abundance now and forever live the high life!”

Unfortunately (for the ego-self), the universe doesn’t work that way. Dodging your fate isn’t an option.

But let’s not forget free will. You have free will to take the right action at the right time, allow your earthly personality to play its role in manifesting your destiny (including your ego-self desires that align with it), react to your life circumstances, and improve and influence your situation to the best of your ability within the confines of your fate.

Along these lines, free will also enables everyone to help shape their future lives through every thought, intent, and action in their present lives.

If you want an ideal as possible relationship, you can exercise your free will and do things to prepare for this. However, we believe that even doing what feels right feels right because it’s part of your pre-destined path. You could do something that isn’t part of your earthly plan, such as drop out of society, move to the wilderness and live off the land, but you probably wouldn’t because it doesn’t feel right for you to do.

Perhaps most importantly, it would be nice if we could all have “perfect love,” but this would miss the objective of the majority of our relationships on earth: personal growth. A predetermined degree of challenge is necessary in order to learn the lessons for which we incarnate.

As far as releasing your love karma through spiritual exercises, this sounds like wishful, spiritual woo-woo thinking to us.

The only exercise we know of to do this is the exercise of experiencing what you need to experience in real life. In other words, forget the notion of being able to cheat fate, despite the fact that most “love experts” suggest otherwise. We caution you to be skeptical of spiritual solutions that appear to be quick fixes.

The good news is that you can ease, but not evade, your karma by acceptance, forgiveness, and unconditional love. For instance, you can’t erase the lifelong disharmony between you and your siblings, but you can lighten the load by how you view and react to it.

Although not always easy, the best methods toward personal and spiritual growth include the following: achieve self-awareness so that you understand your highest path; take the right action at the right time to manifest your destiny; embrace all personal challenges including all difficult people as a necessary part of the growth process; forgive yourself and all others; love yourself and all others unconditionally; live your life knowing that all energy you put out will eventually come back to you; and know that you can’t always get what you want, but that every experience serves a valuable purpose.
