2012 and the Mayan Calendar–7 Myths

Share Button

Remember “Y2K?” Consider the noise surrounding 2012 and the Mayan calendar to be similar.

The alarmists and poetic New Age opportunists who promote their tall tales while tugging at your heart strings with “heart-centered” communications will move on to other things in 2013.

Yet another correction in the financial markets will probably take place in 2012, along with extreme weather conditions around the globe and other calamities, but none of it will be any more out of the ordinary than any other year over the past several thousand. Even if E.T.s landed on the White House lawn in 2012, it wouldn’t have anything to do with the Mayan calendar.

Do yourself a favor and refuse to accept feel-good prose mixed with half-truths and outright myth as fact. Escapism and Hollywood-esque science fiction isn’t “spiritual,” it’s just a means for profit for the New Age snake-oil salespeople while taking you on a ride to nowhere.

We highly recommend fact-checking everything in films/books centered on 2012 and the Mayan calendar. Stories of catastrophe and doom sell and there’s a huge market for such misinformation.

7 Myths surrounding 2012 and the Mayan calendar:

1. The New Age 2012 authorities speak of “transcending many of the worst prophecies already…” (and if you buy their next book and attend their seminars, you can transcend the others too).

2. The “future of humanity” is not at stake and there is no “critical crossroads, evolutionary jump and shift in consciousness, and radical transformation,” in connection with the Mayan calendar and 2012.

Humans have always been spiritually progressing for eons, and everyone’s evolution is unique and transpires at various rates. For some, the year 2012 may be a very important year, for others not at all. And that goes also for the years leading up to and following 2012.

Additionally, as humanity moves beyond each decade, century, and millennium as reflected in our modern calendar, there always have been and always will be adjustments and shifts of varying degrees (e.g., year 999 to 1000 AD): they are gradual, and represent different things to everyone depending on their unique personal charts.

3. The Mayan calendar (Tzolkin) has not predicted “…every eclipse (and other astrological phenomenon),” as some 2012 exploiters claim.

4. There is no “galactic alignment, occurring for the first time in 26,000 years.” At this time, Earth is approximately 30,000 light years from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Also, viewed from Earth, the Sun will only appear to be in the center of the Milky Way, and this “alignment” happens every winter solstice (yawn).

5. Your “spiritual parameters” aren’t dissolving at this time (leading up to Dec. 2012) to allow you to “create the reality you want…” That’s just another false-hope-for-profit scheme.

6. “Everything” is not leading up to 2012 and things are not “coming to a head.” The magnetic fields aren’t weakening, the Sun has not “already lost its poles,” and the Earth’s poles aren’t melting any more than at any other time in recorded history.

7. The Mayans said nothing about disaster and doom, financial or otherwise in relation to 2012. The recent financial crisis has nothing to do with the Mayan calendar and 2012–it’s an extremely tenuous link.

The Mayan calendar is a perpetual calendar, it had to end/start over again at some point, and it isn’t the most accurate calendar when you compare it to others throughout history.

December 21, 2012 is merely the first day of the Mayan calendar 13th “b’ak’tun” (144,000 day cycle), and when a new 5,125.37 year (1,872,000 days) cycle begins. Just as we begin our modern calendar (which is a more accurate time keeping system than the Mayan calendar: http://tinyurl.com/yzqyxar ) on January 1st, the longest cycle in the Mayan calendar starts anew every 5125.37 years.

Prediction is all about pattern recognition. In order to establish a reliable pattern you have to note every time there is a significant, regular juncture in the cycle. In this case, the Mayan calendar, it’s every 144,000 days (394.3 yrs. in our modern calendar), or every 5,125.37 years for the longest Mayan calendar cycle.

However, you must look at multiple cycles/indicators (Scott relies on over 500 in his systems of analysis) to get reasonable accuracy rates, in particular how the universal cycles relate to you personally (personal cycles).

At the start of each 144,000 day/394.3 yr. Mayan cycle, you’ll find these years in our modern calendar (besides 2012), going back in time: 1618; 1224; 830; 435; 41, etc.

Notice that none of those years coincide with any of the most significant financial crises in recorded history, as outlined below?

*Tulip craze/collapse of mid 1600s
*South Sea Company craze/collapse early 1700s
*Railway mania bubble in mid 1800s
*Stock market crash of 1929
*Dot.com crash of 2000-2001
*Mortgage/credit crisis 2008/2009

(The Great Railroad Bubble is one of history’s worst financial collapses: Speculators in Britain spent more than 25% of GDP, the equivalent of $4 Trillion today.)

It could very well be that we’ll see another financial markets/credit collapse in the near future (e.g., 2016/2017); everything is cyclical, including boom to bust financial cycles, and they have nothing to do with the Mayan calendar.

The 2012 story-tellers who exploit an impressionable audience’s thirst for escapism should be seen for what they are: myth propagators and profiteers.

We believe that end of the world scenarios and Mayan “prophesy” that promises ruin and transformation for all of humanity are 100% entertainment. It’s deplorable that so much New Age content is full of fabrications and falsehoods. It’s just an opiate for the uninformed and adds to the colossal body of evidence that exposes the bulk of the New Age industry as a racket.

“…(the interpretation of 2012 as a doomsday or ‘cosmic-shift’ event is) a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in.”
Sandra Noble, executive director of the Mesoamerican research organization

“There is no serious scholar who puts any stock in the idea that the Maya said anything meaningful about 2012.”
David Stuart, director of the Mesoamerica Center at the University of Texas at Austin

Numerology: Numbers Personified — 1-9 on a First Date

Share Button

The root numbers 1-9 each symbolize unique qualities and are expressed in various forms, including balanced, over-balanced, and under-balanced energy.

The specific form of the number expressed depends on the symbolic support or mitigation of the other hundreds of considerations in the comprehensive personality and timing numerology charts.

Let’s say a person has a 9 Life Path (a popular modern numerology indicator, which is the sum total of the full date of birth reduced to a single digit). The expression of that one single factor hinges on the collective energy of the others. An over-abundance of 9 energy throughout the comprehensive charts represents a 9 Life Path that may play out in an over-balanced way, such as in excessive sensual gratification. If there’s a lack of 9 elsewhere, then it may represent a too impersonal disposition, for instance.

Although any single factor in the numerology charts is almost meaningless by itself, personifying each of the root numbers 1-9 can help you understand their related energies.

Below we detail how each root number would conduct themselves on a first date. Note: we are emphasizing the over-balanced or under-balanced form of each and you can find out more about these extremes with our Numerology Decoder Software.

1:
“I just closed on a seven figure business deal and I’ve out-negotiated the competition, once again,” says number 1, making sure her date understands just how achievement-oriented she is. After obviously attempting to one-up her date each time they relay a personal experience or funny story, 1’s date tires of the connection and calls it a night after an hour into their first meeting, making a mental note that there will be no second date.

2:
2 asks his date if she would like to hold hands as he scoots closer to her on the park bench. Still secretly with his girlfriend, but telling his date they have broken up, 2 masks his deep resentment about his current relationship and says with a smile, “I’m the most accepting and non-deceiving person you’ll ever meet.” While thinking of how he’ll lie to his girlfriend about where he has been all day, he says “I can’t stand dishonesty in relationships.”

3:
“Wooo hoooooooo!,” 3 hollers. “Bring it on!” Taken aback, her date says “Well, when I said that I’m easy, I meant I’m easy-going.” 3 frowns, quickly changes the subject by asking about her date’s day at work while smacking her gum and twirling her hair. 3 then looks down at her smart-phone to read an in-coming text and suddenly laughs at a joke she remembers hearing. Before her date can answer her question, she says, “Oh, did you hear about what (fill in blank for Hollywood star of the moment) said about (another Hollywood star’s) cosmetic surgery (laughs uncontrollably)!?” 3’s date is pleasant in response, but inwardly groans and feels a major headache coming on from 3’s energetic fireworks.

4:
“No, I will not have the salmon, I want the steak or I will leave the restaurant,” 4 sits bolt-upright and complains to the wait staff, who answers, “Sorry sir, we are out.” 4 insists on leaving and while walking from the restaurant, explains to his date the importance of proper business planning and execution, which the restaurant is lacking. “So what do you want to do for dinner?,” says 4’s date. “Something practical. How about we go to my mother’s and grab some leftovers from her fridge?”

5:
“Look, this bar is way too loud, let’s go back to my place where we can relax and talk,” says 5. Back at 5’s place, while her date is in the restroom, 5 calls another date and tells them she’ll be over in a couple hours, then texts yet another date and asks if they are still on for tomorrow, all while downing two tumblers of booze. “Here’s your drink,” 5 says with a smile and loads of charisma, handing it to her date, thinking of the best approach to quickly get them into her bed.

6:
“I’ve always been in serious relationships and have only been single for about 3 months of my entire adult life,” says 6. He takes his date to a formal dinner because “It’s the right thing to do,” and asks “Wouldn’t you like to see a law requiring everyone to be married by age 30, and stay married for life?”

7:
7’s date looks at her and wonders what she’s thinking since she has hardly said a word all night. It’s like she’s physically here, but the rest of her is off on some other planet. Painfully challenged with small talk, 7 finally gets the conversation going as she elucidates on the irrelevance of peer review in scientific research.

8:
“So, what did your business do last year, pretax?,” 8 blurts out. Always quick to spot an opportunity for gain, he later says “You know, I’m a heart-centered person and I would never be a gold-digger, but I think it’s a good idea if we get serious in our relationship–oh, and by the way, I don’t believe in pre-nups.” (Unless it’s his money, of course.)

9:
“No, I’m not drunk,” 9 says to her date, as she sips her second jumbo margarita, reaches again for the tortilla chips and accidentally spills the contents of her purse on the floor. “I’m in the middle of writing a novel and I’m under a lot of pressure, so it feels great to let my hair down!” “Anyway,” 9 says as she exudes compassion, “I thought we could go and volunteer at the shelter tomorrow since I’m always up for a good cause.”

Past Life Case Study

Share Button

Since the 1980s, our past life investigations have led us to conclude that reincarnation is the most reasonable explanation for our startling findings, including dates, little-known customs and practices, and other past life regression specifics that were later verified as legitimate.

How do you access possible past life circumstances? Past life regression with an experienced professional, daily meditation, and past life regression audios are some of the best ways to uncover previous incarnations.

In order to illustrate how we explore reincarnation, what follows are details of Scott’s take on a possible past life or lives.

Scott enjoys reading historical fiction and in September 2009 he was drawn to read about Genghis Khan and the Mongols, who reigned during the Middle Ages. Between October 2009 and late January 2010 he read the 3-part series by Con Iggulden. While reading historical fiction, Scott sometimes has spontaneous, clear visions of people he knows in this life superimposed over the historical characters. Whether you consider it past lives or current life symbolism, that’s up to you.

Soon after he began reading about Genghis Khan, he happened to see an advertisement for a Genghis Khan exhibit that was to be for a limited time at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, which is about a mile away from his home in Denver.

Scott visited the exhibit in mid January 2009 and spent about 2 hours viewing and reading about the clothing they wore, unique customs and habits, a reconstructed ger (roundish tepee-like dwelling), armor, weapons, and a lot more.

When riding the escalator to the exhibit rooms in the museum, Scott felt an astonishingly sharp pain in his left leg just below the knee (he didn’t recall ever having such pain in that area of his leg and has no related injuries), then, while in the exhibit as he was walking by a video reenactment of a Mongolian battle, one of the characters took a blow to his lower leg before falling. Scott contemplated the possibility of either tapping into the energy of a Mongol warrior, or even living a past life as one.

Over the past year Scott has had periodic visions of wearing a “court-jester” type of boot that curves up 90 degrees at the toe, but they were more practical instead of flamboyant and he didn’t know from what culture they could have been. Then he learned, at the exhibit, that the Mongolians wore that very same type of boot. Was he “channeling” the soul of a former Mongol, or did he live one or more lives as one?

Below are some interesting facts he learned at the Genghis Khan exhibit, along with his related, possible past life insights:

* Denver is home to the largest Mongolian population outside of Mongolia (3500+-).

* Denver has about the same altitude and climate as the capital of Mongolia (although Mongolian winters are more harsh).

* Denver and the capital of Mongolia are both bordered by mountains.

* The Mongols, during the time of Genghis Khan, were in perpetual migration. They disliked staying in one place for too long (Scott likes to move around and has lived in several different areas of the U.S.). They also had the most mobile army in the world at that time due to the fact that they were all on horseback.

* Scott viewed a tobacco pipe in a display case and saw, in his mind’s eye, his grandfather as a Mongol man smoking it. While reading about Genghis Khan, he also had flashes of one of his sisters as a male warrior of an opposing tribe, his grandmother as a fellow male warrior, and his father as a male nephew or younger brother who was interested in shamanism, the arts, civic structure, and writing, more than battle. In addition, he envisioned an additional relative as an underworld boss of one of the larger cities in the Chin Dynasty, who had formed a secret partnership with Genghis Khan.

* A lively part of the exhibit (which was housed in several large museum rooms) was a walkway between two approximately 8’X8′ screens depicting Mongolian battle scenes, including audio. Being in a meditative state while at the exhibit, this experience was mind-blowing and felt all too familiar to Scott.

* Upon entry into the exhibit, a museum staffer handed each attendee one of about 9 different illustrated bookmarks that included a bio of a well-known figure from Genghis Khan’s time (generals, his main wife, etc.). The one they handed to Scott read as follows: “My name is Rathwood. I grew up in a village near Kiev (western reaches of Genghis Khan’s empire). I have a good ear for languages, so I earn my living spying for the Great Khan. One cannot escape the Mongols, even here in Europe.” According to the exhibit, Rathwood was captured by the Austrians, tortured, and put to death. He refused to divulge any information. A past life recurring theme of Scott’s involving espionage made this especially amusing.

* While reading about Genghis Khan, Scott had a vision of a guy he hadn’t seen or thought of since high school as a Mongolian scout. In the vision, the guy rode up on a horse and dismounted to give his scouting report. They worked as busboys in a restaurant as teenagers in this life and the one thing Scott recalls about him is that he said he wanted to be a police officer (which is a modern day warrior of sorts).

* The Mongols were excellent with the bow. One of Genghis Khan’s nephews was honored for his great strength and accuracy–he could hit a target from over 400 yards. The Mongols were so skilled with the bow that they would fire it while standing in the stirrups at a full gallop–when the horse was at that point in its stride when all four of its hooves were in the air–and they could hit a target the size of an orange from 100+ yards. They would also fire the bow at enemies behind them while turned around in the saddle, and over their horse while hanging over the side, protected by their armored horse. Scott recalls learning archery in grade school and did very well with it. He hit all but one bulls-eye in the final test. Could it be a talent nurtured in a past life? You decide.

* When he first moved to Denver, Scott had a very clear, what he interpreted as, past life vision involving the “Archbishop of Canterbury.” On one of the visual time lines at the museum, it displayed how Genghis Khan’s father was killed by a tribal enemy about the same time (around 1200 AD) as the Archbishop of Canterbury (who was killed by the king of England). Genghis Khan was barely a teenager at the time.

It’s interesting that the two most distinct possible past life notions Scott has experienced while in Denver were on the same time line at the museum exhibit. Also on the same time line toward the end of the Mongol empire was an indication of the start of the Aztec empire, which he has also strongly identified with.

In summary, although none of the above past life assertions are verifiable with physical proof, they illustrate possible past lives, or at the very least important current life symbolism. If you follow your heart and strive to be centered through meditative practices (our audios help with that, and also aid past life recall), you’ll see beyond the mundane world and be open to a similar path to self-discovery.

7 Signs of Having Lived Past Lives

Share Button

Have you ever been curious about your past lives? Pay attention, because the clues to your past lives are easily accessible. All you need is some direction to find out what and where you were in the distant past and if you take notice, your past will begin to unfold before your eyes.

Skeptical? That’s good, it’s healthy to avoid automatically embracing (or rejecting) concepts you haven’t thoroughly investigated. We were skeptical too, long ago. But through objective empirical research, we’ve been unable to disprove the theory of reincarnation, which over 50% of the world’s population embraces in one form or another.

While it’s true you don’t know for sure if what you perceive in past life regression is simply subconscious metaphor or an actual past life scene (even if you can identify, and verify later, details such as names, addresses, etc. as many have), past life regression is a powerful healing tool that can help you make the most of your life.

Use the hypotheses below we’ve formed since the 1980s to find out more about your past. Yes, the indications are often this simple and obvious.

1) Anyone—lovers, friends, family, acquaintances, coworkers, neighbors, and so on—whom you inexplicably, immediately liked or disliked may indicate positive or negative experiences with that person in one or more past lives. Most everyone you know now you have known before, including relatives, children, parents, bosses, and others.

The more significant a person is in your life, the stronger the connection. Our findings indicate that when you meet someone new, you are attracted to or repelled by the connection you had with that person in the past. We’ve also found that the level of harmony is symbolized by comprehensive astrology and numerology.

How about the case of the 4 year-old who claimed he used to be friends with President Polk? Later, the family discovered its full lineage and was stunned to realize they were related to vice president George Dallas, who served in the Polk administration. Wild coincidence or is there a past life connection? You decide.

2) Male and Female: Each soul tends to reincarnate more often as one sex or the other. However, many have experienced lives as both genders. If masculinity, femininity, or being male or female are issues that cause stress in your life, there are likely reasons that relate back to previous lives.

3) Sexual Orientation: Experiencing life as a different gender than a soul is accustomed to may result in homosexuality or bisexuality. This may also explain the spiritual reason for transvestites and transgender individuals, assuming it’s not a case of spirit attachment or possession. In addition, an attraction may continue when past-life male and female lovers return as the same gender.

Also, identical twins have the same genes. If they have the same environment growing up, yet have different sexual orientations, their individual past lives and karma appear to be the root cause of this major personality difference.

4) Material Wealth: It is common to have had lifetimes on both sides of the track. Obviously, it can be more challenging to go from a wealthy lifetime to one of poverty.

Do you have an excessive amount of compassion for the homeless, poor people, or orphans and feel a strong empathetic connection to them? You may know what it’s like from having a higher than average number of such challenging past incarnations, where every day was a struggle to survive.

5) Love life: Most people have had lifetimes where they experienced a wonderful love relationship, and the opposite, love loss and betrayal. Subconscious memories of such times can cause plenty of problems in the current life.

Can no one measure up to what you feel you need in a relationship? You may be unconsciously comparing present connections to an exceedingly rewarding past life love relationship.

6) Appearance: Those who are never satisfied with their appearance may be subconsciously remembering a lifetime where they were more (or less) attractive and, or fit.

Hidden past life memories of a life as a celebrated beauty queen could make you feel less than secure in your current life if you don’t possess pageant-quality looks now.

7) Physical Ailments: Someone with a weak digestive system may have had several lifetimes of gluttony. Someone with asthma may have died a heavy smoker in a past life.

Someone born with a deformed leg may have carried forward guilt about accidentally running over someone’s leg in a past life. Someone who died of alcoholism in a past life may be born into a family in which alcoholism is common, so they have a chance to finally learn to respect and love themselves enough to overcome the pattern of addiction.

In case you’re worried if you are being punished in this life for past life actions, fear not. We believe it doesn’t work that way.

Instead, we’ve found your soul chooses, before incarnating, your main experiences in life according to what lessons you need to learn each time. Consider it to be a series of necessary trials and rewards that can only be endured by direct experience in a physical body on Earth. Fortunately, you have free will to make the most of your life.

5 Signs You’ve Lived Before

Share Button

The theory of reincarnation has yet to be proven invalid, and if it weren’t for all references of reincarnation being edited out of the bible around 553 A.D. by the initiative of the Ecumenical Council in Constantinople, more Americans would believe in it, just like a large segment of the rest of the world.

Whether you believe or not, the process of past life regression, facilitated by a therapist or through an audio meditation, is a great self-discovery and healing tool. While you won’t be able to bring forth physical evidence, most perceive just how much their past lives (or life circumstances symbolized by subconscious metaphor) are affecting their present lives, and realize how their present lives are a startling mirror for their past lives.

With some helpful guidelines, it’s fairly easy to unearth distinct indications of your possible past lives and difficult, in our opinion (which is based on years of objective empirical research) to find other explanations that make more sense than reincarnation.

Past-life Clues

1) Your interests, likes, and dislikes, especially when there is no logical reason, can give you valuable clues about your past lives. Whatever you like or dislike in someone else, especially if it causes an extreme emotional reaction within you, may be related to past lives.

Do you love to watch old movies with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing? Do you have intense feelings for a Hollywood star who was famous long before you were born? Do they inspire you and can you imagine yourself living in that time period? Perhaps you did.

2) Specific countries, or an area of your home country that you’ve always felt an aversion or attraction to, may indicate happy or unhappy experiences and lifetimes in those places. Have you always wanted to travel to Japan? Do you feel an affinity towards their culture and customs and yearn to be among their people? You may have lived there before.

Does the sound of a South African accent make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up? It could relate to a disagreeable lifetime in that region of the world.

3) Groups—ethnic, race, religion, sexual orientation, or authority figures, for example—that you like or dislike may indicate positive or negative experiences with them in one or more past lives.

Do you feel a sinking feeling in your stomach every time you read or hear about the ancient Pagan religion? Or does talk of the Crusades in the Middle Ages make you strangely uneasy? Maybe you were directly involved in one or more past lives and endured much agony and, or inflicted it. If so, remind yourself that the present is most important, but since the past is still affecting you via your subconscious, mentally forgive yourself and anyone else who may have been involved.

4) Any phobias or fears you have may relate to traumatic experiences in one or more past lives, especially if there is no logical present life explanation. It’s interesting to note that a past life regression session, back to the root cause, can resolve a phobia, such as aerophobia (fear of flying), even when nothing else worked.

Do you have an unusual fear of earthquakes? Do you avoid any location that is earthquake-prone because you fear the worst? You may have already experienced it.

Did you feel an odd terror when you read about typhoons in Asia? Does the thought of traveling in a small, ocean-going boat under threatening weather make you exceedingly panicky? Perhaps you were swept away in a storm lifetimes ago.

5) Any innate talents you have may indicate that you developed that particular skill in one or more past lives. How else can you explain a child’s inborn, unusual talent for playing the piano, for example, at age 5? Or how about the ability of a 6 year-old to know, with no previous exposure, the names of WW1 airplanes and ships?

While reading this article, you may have wondered about past lives in relation to punishment, and if you are being penalized now. We’ve found this to be a common misunderstanding. In our past life regression research, we’ve learned that nothing you experience in life is a punishment from a “judgmental God” or any other higher power.

Instead, you (your soul, not your personality), chose, on a soul level before incarnating, most of your main experiences in order to achieve spiritual understanding. You then have free will so you can react in a positive way and make the most of your life.

3 Most Overlooked Factors of Why Your Life is the Way it is

Share Button

The bulk of self-empowerment coaches and motivational speakers tell you that there are only two main elements that matter in getting what you want in life:

1. Taking positive action
2. Thinking positive thoughts (to attract what you want)

If it were only that easy. There is no shortage of those who do both and fail to live the life of their dreams.

Limited Viewpoint

Such an approach to life is based on a belief that your life circumstances are only the result of two things: what happens in your life; and your response to what happens in your life.

The latter is a presumption based on the idea that if you react the right way to what you encounter in life, you can easily create any reality you want. We are firm believers of the notion that you can make the most of your life, largely by how you handle and capitalize on your life circumstances, but there’s more to it than that.

The former can imply a type of victim consciousness. For example, if your lover cheated on you, would you consider that you (from a spiritual perspective) and the unrealistic expectation of blissful, mutually fulfilling, life-long monogamy may have just as much to do with the issue as she does, or would you take the most common approach (e.g., “poor me”) and blame her entirely?

Expand Your Horizons

If you want to understand more about yourself, why you are here, and how you can best serve the world and yourself, you must look beyond the scope of this single lifetime. Accepting the eternity of your soul, thus the theory of reincarnation, you realize that you have unfinished business (in “bad” and “good” ways) from multiple lifetimes and this is why you (your soul) have returned to Earth.

However, don’t worry about the possibility of being the villain in your past lives because everyone has played that role. As part of a tribe of conquerors during the Middle Ages, for example, you may have raided a village, unmercifully made the captors your slaves and weren’t very kind to them. However, you also saved many lives and helped to defeat an oppressive ruler. What goes around comes around.

Missing Keys

Our empirical research involving personality analysis, cyclical timing assessment (prediction and forecasting), past life regression, and predestination has shown us that there are three commonly overlooked facets to your reality:

1. Your karmic blueprint, which includes your past life debts and credits (whether you choose to believe in past lives or see them as symbolism, they still mirror and affect your reality today, as we’ve seen in countless case studies), as well as key, current life circumstances and personality characteristics, some alterable, and some not.

2. Your unique timing, which is linked to your karmic blueprint/life structure. Everyone’s timing is different, and everyone progresses (or regresses) through multitudes of cycles of various lengths, of which the energy may or may not be conducive to the fulfillment of their goals. Spiritually speaking, the goal is often less important than what is learned through attempting to fulfill the goal.

3. Your compatibility with others is reflected largely by your karmic blueprint and timing, which holds the keys to how you knew each other in the past, what needs to be learned this time, and more.

Everyone of significance in your life has an enduring cosmic link to you and you’ve likely spent time with them in multiple past lives, in various roles. How you get along now is a sign to how things were back then.

All three can be discerned in the comprehensive astrology and numerology charts and, or an intuitive reading, and handwriting analysis can be used to uncover subconscious character.

Perhaps the reason why these concepts are over-looked so frequently is because it’s complicated enough to deal with this life without seriously contemplating the spiritual reasons for life’s dilemmas.

But life becomes less complicated as you learn more about who you really are and your journey this time around. All the unimportant stuff melts away as you align yourself with your highest path and you can then capitalize on your timing to make the most of your life.

We readily agree that your attitude and proactive behavior can take you far, but there’s so much more to it than that, in our view.

Avoid Vedic/Sidereal Zodiac Astrology Trap

Share Button

Avoid the astrology trap of using the Sidereal zodiac exclusively (or practitioners who do) or risk vast inaccuracies.

You’ve always thought that you had a Sagittarius Sun sign, but then you’re confused when a friend shows you a “cooler” form of astrology, one which totally changes what you thought you knew about your basic natal chart. You think, “How can I have a Scorpio Sun?” You don’t.

Sidereal zodiac (the zodiac of constellations) advocates will tell you, “…but Sidereal is the ‘oldest astrology,’ it’s the basis for Hindu astrology!”

While it is the basis for Hindu astrology, functional Chaldean and Greek predate horoscopic Hindu/Vedic/Jyotish/Indian, and evidence shows that Hindu horoscopic astrology borrowed heavily from these cultures.

You’re not alone if you’ve fallen for a smooth-talking Internet marketer telling you that she’ll help you fix all your problems if you buy her products and services based on the Sidereal zodiac. Her getting testimonials from big, recognizable names (who happen to use the same publishers in many cases) means that she has a good P.R. machine, that’s all.

How to Escape This Trap

We recommend using the Tropical zodiac (and practitioners who do) instead as the primary zodiac. This is the zodiac of Western astrology and it’s what you’ll find at most non-Eastern astrology sites.

While we’re sure there exist talented astrologers in India who rely upon the Sidereal zodiac and have shaped their systems to be efficient in the real world, we have yet to encounter an American, European or other Western astrologer who uses the Sidereal zodiac exclusively and offers even consistently semi-acceptable accuracy rates.

If the practitioner who uses Sidereal is very psychic and, or has developed their own unique, reliable system using it, then perhaps they might be able to obtain consistently high accuracy. But our experience since the 1980s tells us that they don’t exist in America or anywhere else in the Western world.

Your “Real” Signs

It must be said that you won’t find your “real Ascendant/Rising sign” (or “real Sun sign,” or “real Moon sign,” etc.) by using the Sidereal zodiac.

Make no mistake: you won’t find out “…what sign you really are…” using the Sidereal zodiac (basis for Hindu/Vedic/Jyotish/Indian astrology), and it isn’t the “…true zodiac.” Don’t fall for this nonsense.

Sidereal Zodiac Origins

Usage of the Sidereal zodiac is from an era when practitioners had an inadequate understanding of the realities of our planet and solar system. It was already developed (in a very rough form) before the origins of horoscopic astrology.

The origins of the actual precise astrological horoscope (horoscopic astrology), which includes the Ascendant or Rising sign, etc. is traced back to Hellenistic Egypt (about 330 BC – 30 BC). Prior to this time (when the Hindus adopted horoscope astrology), our findings show that Hindu astrology was essentially an ambiguous spiritual philosophy, without distinct means for explicit delineation and prediction.

The Hindus borrowing the functional horoscope, which includes the Ascendant/Rising sign, from other cultures is certainly acceptable, but using the Sidereal zodiac in conjunction with it results in some technical concerns, as outlined below.

The Sidereal Zodiac system is based on fixed stars, hence the problem. We attach importance to the fixed stars, but we don’t like how the Sidereal system links the degrees of the Ecliptic to them.

The True Ascendant

The true Ascendant (Rising sign), in our opinion, is where the Eastern horizon intercepts the Ecliptic. This is so in the Tropical zodiac system, but not the Sidereal. Using that system, due to the current 20+ degree difference between the zodiacs, you’ll likely have a different Ascendant, Sun sign, and Moon sign, among other differences.

Precession

Due to precession, there exists the current 20+ degree discrepancy between the Tropical and Sidereal zodiacs, but it’s only a concern with transits and other superficial timing indicators. The natal calculations are absolutely valid under Tropical, in our opinion. Anyway, you can always adjust Tropical zodiac transit charts, lunar return charts, solar return charts and other methods that are altered due to precession.

Complicated Forms of Astrology

Furthermore, while the techniques of Hindu, or Vedic astrology are said by some proponents to be “more complicated” than those of modern Western astrology, they aren’t more complicated in the least than the collective methods of ancient astrology, including those of Chaldean, Greek, Egyptian, Arabic, and others.

Real Astrology Symbolizes Personal Fate

The more deeply a practitioner objectively explores the science of astrology, instead of trying to find ways to manipulate life to one’s desire (e.g., “getting astrologically unstuck and finding and keeping the love of your life”), what is really discovered is that the comprehensive charts symbolize immutable fate–predestination. Although you can’t turn your charts into a magic genie who will grant all of your wishes, self- understanding, thus acceptance is obtainable.

We accept Sidereal zodiac astrology as an alternative, yet we believe the Tropical zodiac is optimum for precision. We recommend you seek out astrologers who are well-versed in the Topical zodiac, which is the basis for Western astrology. Also, due to proven, more reliable methods, you’re better off hiring astrologers who favor ancient rather than modern astrology, as we’ve detailed in many articles.

6 More Spiritual Protection Tricks

Share Button

Cosmic debris is everywhere, and if you’re not careful and don’t protect yourself, it can interfere with your life and cause havoc. Capitalize on your spiritual and mind power and make the most of your life within the framework of your unique destiny and karma by employing potent spiritual protection techniques.

Since we encounter other-dimensional energies, some positive, others not so positive, on a regular basis, we have learned how to interpret the level of benevolence and protect ourselves to avoid disruption and interference.

Apply the 6 methods below to make your life more Light-filled, peaceful, and hassle free.

Purifying Fireball

Imagine a massive, searing, white Light fireball slowly moving up from your feet through your energy field, and beyond your physical body above you. Allow it to take with it all the dark energy and cosmic garbage you might have picked up during your day.

Protective White Light Force-field

The concept is similar to the one above, but this stays with you and provides a protective barrier. Just make sure to allow positive, loving energy in.

White Light Downpour

Allow a concentrated, broad laser-beam of white Light to pour down on you, filling every living cell with purifying energy. It’s so potent, it even makes the ground under you glow.

Cut The Dark Cords

Imagine any and all harmful emotions and energies with and, or connected to you as dark cords leading to the original source. Meditate and imagine, along with a protective white Light surrounding you, these threatening cables being pulled together and lined up in front of you, miles into the distance. Then manifest an enormous guillotine of white Light coming down from the sky, severing the festering mess like a knife through butter. The cords will writhe and thrash about, losing their energy force (which was sapping your power), as you cleanly pull the gory roots out of your energetic body (particularly from your gut/solar plexus). Immediately fill the space left by the cords with brilliant, healing, white Light. Some of these negative cords were with you since you were a kid, some are new, and many are links to those from the past and are no longer needed. Get in the habit of staying cord-free.

White Light Sword

After a radio interview we did last year, that night, while in a meditative state, Scott was approached by an aggressive demon. The figure appeared to be warning him to stay away from the new friend, the radio host. Scott was more annoyed than fearful and successfully employed the white Light sword technique to fend off the aggressor.

Keep this multi-purpose spiritual instrument ready on your hip. It extends as far as needed, even many thousands of miles, and you’re always prepared to bat away, preferably to the Light, any spiritual interference or use it to help those in need (if they have your permission). But remember to only use it in defense, and not in a harmful way (unless they’re really asking for it- joking!).

Forest Meditation

Here’s a brief exercise you can use to become more grounded, protected, and aware at the same time. Focus your energy at your breastplate or third eye area. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in through your nose, then exhale through your mouth. Visualize yourself walking down a path in a beautiful forest full of huge redwood trees. Stop and sit with your back against one of these majestic trees. Feel the tree’s energy. Notice how the tree climbs way up into the sky, and is also grounded deep into the

Earth with its roots. Now feel the sun’s rays shining down on you, surrounding and protecting you. Bask in the sunshine. Feel the warm breeze. Now notice how you’re surrounded by beautiful red, orange, yellow, pink, light blue, dark blue, and violet flowers. If you’d like, imagine a friendly animal approaching and giving you an insightful message–feel or listen for their thoughts/words. You can visit this peaceful, safe place any time you feel the need or desire.

Get creative in developing your spiritual protection devices. Remember, your imagination and the power of belief will make them real. Make a daily habit of it and you’ll stay free of cosmic junk.

Psychic Protection Tricks

Share Button

It’s always a good idea to remember to spiritually protect yourself. Just as there is filth in the physical world, spiritual debris is everywhere. Thoughts are things, they create your reality within the framework of your personal karma and fate, and you can capitalize on this mind dynamic to your great advantage.

We both frequently encounter lost souls and other various other-dimensional energies, most often when we are in semi-sleep or meditative states in our respective homes.

Spirit Visitations

Stephen recently moved into a new home and has been visited by several lost souls, some harmless and some not so nice. One of them thought it was funny to slowly drag the covers off him on three separate occasions in the early morning hours. Since the home was new and never lived in, he wasn’t expecting so much spiritual activity. But after learning that the area was full of crack houses 5-10 years ago, it made sense. He later found out that two neighbors have also experienced unusual activity in their homes, such as hearing heavy footsteps on wood floors in the middle of the night, door handles rattling, and their cats appearing to have strong reactions to unseen energies.

Addictions Keep Spirits Earthbound

In our experience, drug and alcohol (or other addictive or fear-based activity) infested areas attract earth-bound and dark energies who are looking for the related fix. They were addicted before they left their bodies and stick around looking for more instead of going to “the light.”

This theory, along with weakened defenses due to excess, explains why some addicts can have multiple lost souls feeding off their compulsion. Personality changes, hearing voices in or outside of your head that offer off-putting, even destructive ideas and having sudden cravings that you didn’t have before are some clues to spirit attachment (which is common) or spirit possession (which is rare). An extreme case of possession would be like the Exorcist, which was exaggerated (head spinning around, etc.), but who hasn’t been involved with an ex who behaved this way (kidding)?

Parade of Entities and Souls

Before Scott’s neighbor relocated about 1.5 years ago, he would regularly see a parade of spiritual activity through his bedroom late at night. It seemed as though the spirit hitch-hikers who were with this respectful and pleasant, yet hard-drinking neighbor would get bored and wander over. One happened to be a slouching, depressed-looking, slowly wandering-by youth with what looked like dyed blond hair who may have been a suicide victim. Energetically guiding the soul to the light with a telepathic message “there’s nothing to fear” appeared to help the soul move on. Many others shielded their eyes with dark sunglasses to mask one of the blatant marks of sinister energy: shadowy, ill-looking, and dark, or red eyes.

We expect that many of you have similar stories, especially if you are spiritually sensitive and, or your spiritual disciplines keep you half on the other side most of the time.

Along with using a healing audio to keep the space clear and himself protected, Stephen began using a new technique to guard against any stray souls who wandered in during the middle of the night. The following, along with some preferred by Scott, are techniques that can work for you too. The more often you visualize the images, or just trust that they are there, the easier it will be to do and the more real it will become.

4 Psychic Protection Tricks

White Light Tornado

Every night before bed, visualize or feel a huge (always clockwise) white Light tornado filling your bedroom, home, and car, taking away dark energy, sending it to the Light, and leaving behind a clear, peaceful, and energized space.

Posts of White Light with Crystals

Visualize or feel posts of white Light with crystals in each of the four corners of your room and home, with white Light walls connecting them. Then do the same for your bed. You can even ask guides (of the Light!), Archangel Michael or Archangel Raphael to stand guard for you. After doing this for several days you may actually feel the crystal and Light barrier around your bed as very soothing yet energizing and healing.

White Light Metal Detector

Visualize a protective white Light metal detector similar to the kind found at airports, to scan and screen all energies entering your home or personal space. Ask for spiritual security guards of the Light to help make sure only positive energy gets through.

White Light Pentagram

At least twice daily, draw a huge pentagram in imaginary white Light under you and around you. Due to the power of your mind, belief, and repetition, this powerful force-field will become real. In the very least, it will engage your subconscious mind to help you avoid attracting negativity.

You have free will to use the above techniques or generate your own unique spiritual protection methods. It’s within your power to protect yourself from other-dimensional trash and be clear, calm, and happy so that you can make the most of your life, within your fate.

Modern Astrology Folly, part III

Share Button

Imagine, an astrologer (who is widely known and seen as an “authority” in modern astrology circles) tells you, “You have potential to be a famous actor. But if you don’t strive to become one in the right ways, you’ll wallow in obscurity.”

Translation: that astrologer is hedging his bets and making his refusal or inability to do accurate assessment of personal fate your problem, unfortunately.

No legitimate professional in this field boasts 100% accuracy. The best an analyst or reader can do is offer their perspective and if they happen to be wrong once in a while, that’s acceptable. But to shroud one’s advice in New Age political correctness to the point of making it impossible for anyone to get direct answers to their questions is irresponsible.

Our empirical studies tell us that if someone is destined to become a famous actor they are fated to become a famous actor and will become a famous actor. Also, if someone is destined to serve in a modest support role in the play of life, that’s what they will do, this time.

We’re all for using modern-focused methods such as transits, secondary progressions, solar and lunar returns, and the more funky, creative, newer techniques (even though we’ve found many of those to be pure nonsense), as a means to firm up an existing comprehensive analysis based on tried and true ancient methods. However, to put the bulk of the emphasis on the modern methods and philosophies only invites vast inaccuracies, our research has consistently shown us.

You Only live 100,000 Times or More

If you look at your life as the result of multitudes of lifetimes and not just one (“You only live once”), it makes more sense why some seem to “have all the luck” and some don’t. It’s how you view and handle your circumstances that really matters.

Don’t worry about missing that one right “choice” that could potentially make all your dreams come true. Fate doesn’t work that way. You can relax, because if it’s meant to be, it will be. Keep forging ahead, make informed decisions, follow your heart, do what you need to do, and you’ll get to where you’re fated to be.

Psychology, Consciousness, & Modern Whimsy

Modern astrologers say they are excited about the astrological developments during the last century or so. They name Jungian psychology (being mixed into the science of astrology) as “groundbreaking,” yet we’re convinced it’s largely a way to sidestep real issues, like personal adversity, including poverty, and other life concerns connected to personal fate. Don’t get us wrong, we appreciate psychology when it’s approached constructively, but not the way many modern astrologers abuse it. You can’t interpret the charts through fuzzy psychological thinking and expect valid results.

“Progression of consciousness…” is a way of claiming that times have changed to the point where “…multi-dimensionality alters our realities beyond stoic fatalism…” We feel that this view is completely false and a poor excuse to deny that predicting personal fate is possible. It’s pure subterfuge and typical of the sort of skewed creativity modern astrology promotes to mask the original purpose of astrology (prediction of personal fate), which isn’t as marketable and profitable in the New Age.

Herd Mentality and Modern Methods

Furthermore, having 1000s of practitioners of modern methods, some of whom periodically gather for conferences through the organizations to which they belong, means very little as far as credibility goes. They may all pay $50 or more each year to belong, but it only means that they all share similar beliefs (e.g., denial of personal fate), and that they all largely go along with one another’s radical astrological creativity.

There is an abundance of people who favor modern methods, just like there is an abundance of modern astrological entertainment, excuse us, literature, on the shelves of book stores (next to the trashy tabloid magazines). Why? Because they’re taking the easy way out, at your cost. What sells well doesn’t have to be valid, it only has to be appealing and poetic or sexy, according to the whims of modern demand. No wonder the New Age has a bad reputation.

In conclusion, we recommend you maintain a sharp sense of discernment in dealing with modern, New Age methods and have the courage to go against the grain of conventional thinking. In doing so, you’ll have a huge advantage in your quest for spiritual awareness.
