Modern Astrology Folly

Share Button

Predictive modern astrology and numerology commonly include transits (e.g., transiting Saturn in Virgo as we type this), secondary progressions, Universal Year (2009), solar return charts, and other basic cyclical timing methods that, by themselves, limit respectable levels of accuracy unless you have consistently strong psychic ability and use the esoteric sciences as touchstones only.

We’ve witnessed it over and over: Modern-method-favoring astrologers shroud their avoidance of predicting personal fate in oh-so-creative ballads, even pinning fate against free will (“Free will prevails if you have the courage to defeat fate”) to try and gloss over the truth that predestination exists.

It’s simple, we’ve found: free will exists, but you only have so much of it while incarnated on Earth.

Your soul makes certain choices in spirit form before you incarnate so that you must face key life circumstances that will enable you to grow spiritually.

Personal Adversity Exists

We believe this because our sophisticated systems of checks and balances involving innumerable cyclical timing methods, along with intuitive and past life regression work, clearly indicate that everyone incarnates with unique destined (and unchangeable), measurable levels of personal adversity.

Our credentials are the result of empirical research involving our work (clients, public figures, and people of all walks of life and real-world concerns) and we state our findings as theories; we (and anyone else) are unable to disprove them.

It’s Possible to Assess Life Circumstances

We’ve found it is possible to assess significant wealth, fame, abundant romantic life (and other areas of life), the opposite of all three, or anywhere in-between.

Modern Astrology Approach Example

Advising a client based on only one indicator, such as natal Mercury conjunct your Midheaven, is typical of the modern-astrological-method-based astrologer. They’ll say, “Mercury is conjunct the Midheaven, so that means livelihood involving communication, but it’s purely up to you if you’ll become an hourly employee or a $50,000 per speech famous orator.” They say this because exclusive reliance on overly-simplistic and subjective modern astrological methods doesn’t permit them to look more deeply into a person’s fate.

Then there are the modern astrologers who say things such as, “Let’s look at this from an ancient astrology perspective: Your Jupiter is very well-placed. Therefore, you are ‘royal’ and should enjoy high status and will win most of your life battles…” This type of surface and erroneous approach, misrepresenting the ancient science of astrology, would be laughable if it weren’t so destructive.

The Myth of “100% Free Will”

Relying exclusively on surface astrological and numerological methods could easily allow you to embrace the mistaken notion of having “complete free will (after incarnating).”

Worse, if you have the bad fortune of being advised by someone who embraces new and innovative modern astrological methods (read: destructively creative nonsense) and they use only these in their practice, you could easily, and incorrectly assume that you have 100% free will and nothing is destined. Your astrologer not being able to interpret personal fate doesn’t equate to you having “100% free will.”

We’ll be clear: no amount of “coming into your true path in life” will allow you, for example, to “create infinite abundance” if your personal financial fate dictates only modest finances.

Yes, it’s true, we’ve found that the majority on this planet are fated to live within modest to ordinary financial means, relative to their native society.

Surely you would rather have us truthfully state our findings instead of selling you snake oil? But don’t worry, our findings also indicate that a lot of the rewarding stuff in your life is destined too.

The Important Choices You Make Are Fated

The modern astrologers talk about “facing crossroads,” and deny that important “choices” a person makes in their life are also part of personal fate. If, for example, you like your job and employer a lot and they offer you a major promotion and more money with a relocation to New England from the Midwest, this isn’t “facing crossroads” as if you’re somehow redefining your personal fate by “choosing which way to go” since your choice is destined too. Even the tougher “choices” are predetermined, we’ve found.

How do we arrive at this conclusion? We see it over and over through our work; the specific “choices” people select ultimately involve circumstances down the road that show up in their comprehensive numerology and astrology charts or an intuitive reading that wouldn’t have been connected to the other “choice.”

Take it in stride when faced with a choice in life. The more you accept that you will make the right choice at the right time, the easier the process will be. Also accept that tough bouts of indecision, for example, are fated too. If everything in your life were a breeze, you wouldn’t evolve. Our findings tell us that if you follow such advice, you will be fulfilling your personal fate along with using your free will.

The Advantage of Accepting Predestination

Why are we so passionate about helping people understand personal fate and karma? Many may find the concepts unappealing at first, but once you comprehend the nature of life clearly, you’ll avoid wandering aimlessly down the foggy “anything is possible” New Age path and instead open up to aligning yourself with your unique life purpose. Also, besides knowing when to capitalize on your good karma (through comprehensive astrology and numerology or intuitive readings), you’ll be better prepared for future challenges to make the most of your life.

Personal Adversity Will Always Exist

Share Button

Unique levels of unavoidable personal adversity exist for everyone and they are discernible in comprehensive numerology and astrology charts.

This finding of ours greatly clashes with modern, New Age spirituality.

As most anyone will admit, life can be unpleasant at times, but you can’t just wave a magic wand, call on the “Lords of Karma,” or read a best-selling, inspirational, spiritual book and make the distasteful parts of life (i.e., your challenging personal karma) disappear. You must face your own personal challenges squarely because that is how you attain soul growth and balance your spiritual debts.

Wishful Thinking

There exists a “you can be anything you want to be–just believe you can” attitude that permeates not only New Age doctrine, but most of Western society. It’s easy to wholeheartedly embrace this unless you’ve seen the recurring comprehensive numerology and astrology patterns linked to real life circumstances, clearly indicating that no one can be or have anything they want, unless that desire fits within their personal fate.

Whether you believe it or not, your life is intimately connected to the cyclical nature of life, based on your moment and location of birth, along with your other birth data. We’ve found that at least 75% of the main circumstances and events in everyone’s (even those who don’t believe in destiny or karma) lives are predestined: what was, is, and what will be is symbolized by the hidden rhythms and predictable cycles that allow for empirical scientific assessment and projection.

We Fell Into The Same Trap

Before knowing any better in the late 1980s, we fell into the “if you believe, you can achieve anything” trap. Today, we firmly believe (after countless hours of empirical research) in the “if you believe, you can achieve–if it fits within your destined path” concept.

Not being able to have or become everything you want can be difficult to accept. What’s the best way to deal with dreams that may be out of your reach? Aside from acceptance, the better you know yourself the more your desires will be aligned with your karmic blueprint and personal fate, and the more likely you will be to achieve your goals.

Know Thyself

Knowing yourself goes far beyond the limits of your academic testing scores, musical and culinary tastes, or physical abilities. Getting to know your true self also involves your subconscious mind (as seen through handwriting analysis, for example), along with your spiritual heritage which includes your karma and fate, as sought, for example through meditation and, or past life regression.

Interpreting Fate

There exist New Age writers today who claim that some people have incarnated this time around with minimal karma, and therefore their fate can’t really be interpreted. We disagree and believe it’s a matter of going deeper, beyond modern methods, to uncover the hidden dynamics of personal destiny. Everyone’s life matters and everyone has an important mission or missions in life, even if it may seem insignificant on the surface, such as offering endless unconditional love to family and friends, for instance.

We have yet to find anyone completely or even mostly free of any of the rough stuff in life. Although someone might have less severe negative karma than average, their fate can still be interpreted.

Fate Seen In The Comprehensive Charts

Employing a complex enough system of checks and balances, you see extremes of destined circumstances and everything in between: affluence, poverty; wellness, disease; unconditional acceptance, intolerance; togetherness, solitude; recognition and fame, obscurity, and much more. By the way, we’ve found that it’s frequently easier to spot challenges rather than rewards in the charts.

There Are Only Two Ways to Reach an Honest Conclusion About Personal Fate

Predestination is witnessed through the objective viewing of the patterns in the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts and past lives of many people, over many years and, as we say above, finding recurring associations between those patterns and life circumstances. We know of no other way to effectively conclude that predestination exists, aside from using strong psychic abilities to consistently predict future life events.

Exclusive Usage of Modern Methods Will Fail You

By the way, if an astrologer tells you they rely exclusively on transit, and or progressed charts for prediction, we recommend you get a second opinion (unless they are consistently very psychic and use some basic cycles as touchstones only). Those types of (surface) indicators are best used for contributing to an existing, extensive analysis involving multiple layers of indicators, just as the “Happy Birthday!” written in icing on a cake is only to top it off; it isn’t the whole cake by any means.

How do we reach this conclusion, you ask? We’ve determined, through an enormous amount of trial and error over many years, that exclusive usage of such methods (and many other modern methods) for outlining personal fate (e.g., prediction) results in very low accuracy levels.

“Experts” Who Deny The Concept of Personal Fate

It’s amazing that so much credit is thoughtlessly given to those who deny the concept of personal fate, those who don’t even bother to test their belief through comparing the symbolism of cyclical timing methods to real life events and, or using psychic research to outline fated future circumstances.

Would you respect an “expert” who denies the existence of tsunamis, never having left the confines of his home state of South Dakota? Or an “expert” who denies the existence of emotional pain due to romantic troubles who has never had a relationship? Of course not.

New Age Best Selling Authors-Poets

It’s common in today’s New Age marketplace to find former journalists, doctors, or psychiatrists (and others who use the instant credibility of their former professions to boost their New Age careers) who very creatively address the hot topic of “influencing or completely altering the divine order of life” (erasing personal fate without having to directly balance it).

They say, “Can it be done?” Perhaps they’re asking the question to themselves because they haven’t done any work involving the outlining or prediction of personal fate. You’ll find hundreds of pages in one or more of their books hopping, skipping, bouncing, and twirling around the topic, ultimately denying that personal fate and karma exist (and denying that personal adversity is unavoidable), building infinite hope made of a house of cards and praying you don’t notice that they base their views purely on creative subjectivity, bloated optimism, and a desire for a best-seller; no doubt they’ll say whatever it takes to keep you on the hook, knowing you might ditch them if they drop the “heart-centered” (i.e., pretense), folk-singing-like prose and get too “fatalistic.” Very few of them ever answer the question directly at all.

To offer only conjecture along with statements such as “Tons in life happens that seems to go against the laws of nature,” makes a “spiritual” writer ultimately appear more like a New Age wordsmith, in our view. But if you like to read that sort of thing, and prefer to view spirituality as an escape rather than a means of self discovery, go right ahead. Lots of people like poetry and we love inspiration too, but only if it’s rooted in spiritual truths.

Cold, Hard, Realities of Life

To some, that might seem too dark and pessimistic. After all, with all the stress and demands in life who wants to face the cold, hard truth of personal adversity, fate, and karma? The purpose is about taking complete responsibility for your life, knowing that you have free will to prepare for challenges and capitalize on more rewarding moments, and accepting the perfectly equitable nature of this universe, which also encourages treating others as you would like to be treated.

We predict that one day these concepts will be universally taught, understood, accepted, and practiced from a young age. Until then, the cycle of karma continues.

10 Spiritual Tips to Overcome Financial Fears

Share Button

It seems just about everyone is needing to be more mindful about money these days. People are cutting back more than ever and finally paying more attention to their spending habits.

For some, so far, it’s only a matter of awareness. All the recession talk is causing them to be more cautious, even though their income and expenses, to this date, have not changed much.

Others, after losing their job or experiencing major pay cuts, are having trouble meeting basic expenses like their rent or mortgage payment.

One good thing that may come from the recession includes an increasing number of people taking more responsibility for their financial future. Many will think twice before whipping out a credit card on every impulse. Things that seemed like necessities in the past, such as a nicer car, dining out frequently, expensive cups of coffee, or the hippest new fashions from the trendiest stores are being bypassed for alternatives.

Despondent about when things will get better? It varies for everyone. Periods of financial struggle and times of abundance throughout your life can be readily identified; they are symbolized through cyclical timing methods in the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts or foretold by some psychics. Likewise, your overall money fate over the course of your entire life can be determined as well; below, average, above, or way above average financial prosperity is symbolized in the comprehensive chart patterns. If this concept is new to you and you’re skeptical, we understand. It took us many years to recognize the authenticity and accept the notion of, fixed personal fate.

How does this concept apply to someone who is always in debt? It indicates they may be living beyond their means, buying more than what they are destined to possess (unless they are destined to have more money but are subconsciously blocking financial success, which is discernible through handwriting analysis). They may think it’s their “birthright” to have and buy whatever they want, when they want it. But if they want to get out of debt and remain there, they must reduce their spending and accept the level of material abundance that their soul (not their conscious self) chose before incarnating.

For those who are financially responsible but have hit a temporary rough patch, or for anyone else who wants to make the most of their financial fate, we offer two different methods to help whenever you’re feeling apprehensive about your finances.

The first is what we call the Mystic’s Magic Formula.

1) Make time to consider your situation from a spiritual perspective. Review your assumptions and expectations and let them go.

2) Accept what has happened, what is, and where you are (essential in order to move on). Surrender to your inner wisdom. Establish and cultivate your goals after determining if they are relatively realistic.

3) Gratitude: express it for where you are, everything rewarding in your life that you have, and the good that will be, and strengthen your faith by continuing to emotionalize the desired, end result.

4) Invite help from your higher-self, guides of the Light and, or God.

5) Calm your mind and fears and awaken your awareness through meditation.

6) What’s the next step? Ask this every step of the way and be open for clues.

7) Assume responsibility for yourself and your situation (no blaming).

8) Navigate your path with the tools available to you: numerology and astrology, meditation, past life regression, graphology, and other effective self-help methods.

9) Do what you need to do, when you need to do it (and do “the right thing” in all situations).

The second method is easier and especially helpful when you are feeling depressed, confused, or helpless about your situation. It can be used anywhere, anytime, and when practiced often, it will make a world of difference and generate enormous peace of mind.

Instead of feeding your depression or feelings of lack, elevate your energy and change your state of mind. That may sound a bit vague, but it’s fairly easy to do: just feel excited about more money, a better work environment, more clients, more love, a better date, or whatever, but the trick is to feel in general terms, such as simply “mass abundance.”

Don’t think of details yet or analyze how you can reach your goal. When you feel the worry energy weighing down your heart and solar-plexus (stomach) chakras areas, instead of giving in to it, transmute it, replace it with the positive energy of excitement. Feel excited and let the energy rise and then imagine yourself merging with a higher, protective, and guiding power. Perceive yourself surrounded and filled with a bright, white light. Make this process a regular habit.

Feel as if your dilemma is solved. What’s that really like for you? A huge sense of relief? Satisfaction? Generate all the positive emotions. Getting excited about the idea of a solution will more easily allow you to perceive the most fitting one when it’s time for you to do so. Worrying about something? Cancel that (think, “cancel, cancel, cancel”) and correct and, or reverse the fear-based imagery in your mind; feel excited as if everything is working out better than expected. Keep feeling the excitement over and over and it will help to cancel out dark or negative energy that may be interfering and causing you to experience more fear than usual.

Everything goes in unique cycles, including your finances. Even though you can’t skip the tough parts of life, you can use your free will to make the most of your personal fate and your stay on this planet.

Numerology: Number 2

Share Button

Every number symbolically includes balanced, over-balanced, and under-balanced energy. The particular form of the number that is exhibited largely depends on the figurative support or resistance of the other hundreds of considerations in the natal and timing comprehensive charts.

The number 2 in its stable form includes energy such as diplomacy, keeping the peace, detail-orientation, sensitivity, partnerships, cooperation, flexibility, harmony, emotional availability, teamwork, talent for event coordination, friendship, romance, group activities, good listening skills, excellent counseling talent, rhythm, solid intuition, open-mindedness, good problem-solving skills, talent for politics, and more.

Like all numbers, it has its imperfections, expressed through its over-balanced or under-balanced form. Trepidation, petty resentments, self-esteem too firmly connected to romantic partnerships, conflict-avoidance, low self-confidence, indecisiveness, passiveness, vacillation, difficulty with solitude, lacking in courage, fragility, lost in details, over-sensitivity, lack of disciplinarian skills, over-whelmed with psychic energies, codependence, and being too much of a magnet for cosmic debris (e.g., others’ negative thoughts) are key problems with the number 2.

Sadly, those with a lot of 2 energy frequently find themselves in the following scenario: They are excessively accommodating and helpful, even to the point of being sacrificial, then secretly carry a grudge and resent over-extending themselves to those who don’t sincerely appreciate or even acknowledge their efforts. Also, commonly, there are those with heavy natal 2 whose impressive efforts result in success for their team, yet their individual acclaim and glory isn’t forthcoming thus, naturally, again they feel cheated.

In its worst form, 2, when supported by other, similar indicators, is as follows: sneaky; manipulative; under-handed; smile-on-the-outside, an “I’m your good friend” outward disposition, but devious behind the mask; dual nature; emotionally explosive; manipulative; exploitative; insincere; prone to cheat; dishonest; and others saying about them, “how could he (or she) have done that, they seem so nice!” after uncovering trickery and deception.

To its credit, the number 2 is unbeatable in undercover and diplomatic work, subtle persuasion, and negotiations. It also eventually finds a healthy balance in supporting others and avoiding being controlled and feeling overly-responsible. It’s not your fault, number 2. Stop being a martyr.

Heavy 2 timing energy will make you much more aware of your repressed emotional and sexual energy. You can’t help but get in touch with your inner-self under strong 2 timing. You’re more vulnerable under the number 2. Also, don’t be too modest and try not to be a doormat.

The number 2 is the “deer caught in the headlights” look, although shock and surprise is more associated with 11 than 2.

Those who largely lack the number 2 throughout their comprehensive numerology charts have chosen this lifetime, in part, to focus on effectively working with others. Their success frequently depends on it. There’s a need to be immersed in the community and to cultivate interpersonal connections. There can be a harshness, a lack of sympathy in some cases, and a heavy demand for patience. The particulars and finer points of any given undertaking can be a problem too.

2 is some of the slowest-moving energy, can equate to upsets with supportive indicators, and it is frequently a disappointment related to finances. However, it’s also representative of one of the best romantic connections you’ve ever had. Although number 2 finishes second, its rewards have more to do with partnerships, friendships, and romance.

Two Common Questions Asked of Psychics

Share Button
“When will I get married (or meet my life partner or soul mate)?”Many young adults ask us this question. Though we can determine through our readings and analyses when someone is likely to experience a compatible love connection, we always recommend to those not yet in their 30s to avoid spending too much energy looking for a serious relationship or marriage partner.

Many of them would be much better off going with the flow, dating, having fun, enjoying their youth, learning who they are beyond the social programming, and focusing on their careers so they have a life before they try to make a relationship “permanent” through a legally-binding agreement.

It would be nice if you met a compatible “life partner” early in life and remained happily together for the “rest of your life.” Unfortunately, most people’s soul schedule or personal fate doesn’t always include what they want, when they’d like to experience it, contrary to popular New Age opinion, no matter how much they “master the art of manifestation.”

Also, the concepts of lock-it-in-forever-happy-marriage and life partners are human, artificial constructs, not spiritually-based; our belief is that on a soul level they are viewed as unrealistic, and life-long relationships aren’t perceived as mandatory or even necessary in many cases when a soul is planning the next incarnation.

If you think about it, in most cases, a fulfilling, satisfying relationship with the same partner from your 20s until you die of old age is unrealistic since everyone changes (for better or worse) at different rates. Yes, some couples do “grow old together” if it’s destined to work out that way, but if it’s not, people don’t have to suffer for the rest of their lives. It’s not the 1800s any more, thankfully. People don’t need to rely entirely on a spouse to survive anymore. You now have the option of being independent and being with a partner because you want to, not just because you’re settling in order to survive.

As far as the notion of a “twin flame” soul mate goes, we’ve found through our long-term, empirical research that it’s as mythical as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny; it’s an illusionary and subjective concept. Although some soul mates are better than others, after all the illusions fade away, there is no perfect match. Distorted, romantic idealism can be an innocuous escape, but too often it leads people astray, detracting from their earthly purposes and making life more complicated.

Instead of viewing marriage as an important destination and wondering when you’ll be swept off your feet, a better question to ask would be when are you most likely to meet someone who is compatible, or experience one of your more compatible relationships.

In addition to accepting the truth that not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime, we also recommend accepting that everyone has many soul mates. These two suggestions alone will save you much heartache and stress.

We’ve found that all relationships have destined starting and ending times (emotionally and romantically), and most are not meant to last “forever,” even if a couple chooses to stay together, essentially as roommates for whom the flame has long since extinguished, if it even existed at all. If you look at the big picture, a life-long relationship may seem ideal, and it may be part of some people’s path, but from a spiritual perspective, it isn’t as important as you may think.

If you would like to meet a compatible soul mate, make the most of yourself and have faith that you will meet the right people at the right time. Letting go of any resentment or regret from past relationships and accepting your status of being single will clear the way for a more compatible person, and remaining open to new possibilities instead of thinking in “all (‘The One,’ ‘Forever’) or nothing” terms will lead to more success in your love life. If you’re already involved with someone, letting go of expectations (that may or may not be related to the “twin flame” or other soul mate myths, or “acceptable” social standards) and accepting the person and situation as they are will lead to more harmony.

“Does he/she like me?” “Is he/she thinking about me?”

We can understand if you don’t want to make the first move out of fear of being embarrassed or rejected. But it’s really not your right to know what someone is thinking unless they tell or show you.

Meditate and ask for signs about whether or not it’s a good idea for you to make it clear you are interested or to contact the person. You have nothing to lose, unless you work together. In that case, it’s usually best to remain friends due to the possibility of the relationship issues causing problems at work.

Astrology: Universal Considerations

Share Button

Next time you hear talk about how tough (or wonderful) an upcoming planetary transit, conjunction, retrograde, Solar eclipse, opposition, or other astrological or numerological event is going to be, take it with a grain of salt. It may be rough for you, or it may be good for you, depending on your unique comprehensive charts.

Universal indicators such as a Lunar eclipse, the date 8-8-08, or a full Moon, for example are regularly, erroneously labeled “good” or “bad,” or “lucky” or “unlucky,” but any single universal vibration or indicator, even the most notorious, relates to any given person in a unique way, in various amounts of reward or challenge. It’s necessary to find out what any given indicator means to you personally and avoid making generalizations that serve only to tarnish the reputation of the sciences.

Universal vibrations such as Saturn in Virgo, Mars Retrograde, “6-6-06,” Leo Moon, Universal Year, etc. often get more attention, but the personal vibrations, such as Mercury Retrograde transiting a natal 7th house Mercury (Mercury return), Personal 19-year cycle, Saturn transiting a natal 10th, Personal 7-year cycle, etc. are more important and relevant.

Yes, the universal energy is important, but how it harmonizes with your natal charts prevails. For example, even though there might be a higher than usual probability of a single universal indicator, such as Mars retrograde symbolizing an ill-fated auto purchase, or a full Moon and Lunar eclipse combination being symbolic of a botched surgical procedure, even the worst of the universal indicators may not apply to you personally or symbolically make any impact whatsoever.

Please don’t give universal indicators, such as transiting Mars conjunct transiting Venus, a grand cross, Star of David formation, etc., more importance  than they deserve or you’ll risk sounding like the cosmic foo-foo, New Age folks who unintentionally give metaphysics a bad name (anyone remember the “Harmonic Convergence” several years back?).

A Solar eclipse at 9 degrees Leo (with supporting indicators) could represent deep challenges for person A, but signify great rewards for person B. Or, an 8 vibration (e.g., medium-term or long-term, or even a short-term cycle, with corroborating considerations) can be a breeze for person A, but be rough for person B.

It’s also key to remember that the energy of any single indicator, such as Sun in hard aspect to Mars, malefic Arabic part conjunct Ascendant, Saturn transit, a long-term numerological cycle such as a 36-year cycle, or any of the other 500+ considerations, is either supported or wiped out by the energy of the others. In other words, there is no “this (one single consideration) means that (a specific life circumstance or event)” if you value accuracy in numerology, astrology, handwriting analysis, or any other form of personality analysis or prediction.

Universal considerations in numerology and astrology can be compared to the weather. Everyone experiences a snow or rain storm differently; some have great troubles because of it, some enjoy the changes and beauty it brings and for some it’s not even noticed; it’s a non-event.

While it’s true that universal indicators have more potency than personal, personal indicators have more relevancy to you, so you’ll benefit by paying attention to both.

Money and Numerology

Share Button

Numbers have qualities, besides representing quantity. They have rich symbolic meaning and relate to every area of life, including money.

Below we list each of the root numbers 1 through 9 along with a few details about how they relate to money, as we’ve empirically discerned since 1992.

For numbers above 9, use fadic addition to add them together and reduce to a single digit. For example, 14 is 1 + 4 = 5 and 5739 is 5 + 7 + 3 + 9 = 24 = 2 + 4 = 6. The single digit result represents the most potent energy, but each part of multiple digits also holds important energy. For instance, 5739 includes the energy of 5000, 700, 30, 9, and 6.

Note: In order to accurately correspond to specific personality traits, life events, or circumstances, any individual number in a person’s comprehensive numerology charts must be part of a larger pattern involving multiple numbers in various chart positions. Still, beginning by learning the energy of each single number is a good first step.

1:

1, 10, even the Karmic Debt Number 19, in key positions, and other variations of 1 (10 = 1+0 = 1, etc.) strongly symbolize monetary advantage. However, as a timing vibration, 1 can represent the end of a good thing where the person has to start over. But initiating new enterprises under the 1 is a very good sign for prosperity.

2:

2 is one of the worst numbers for monetary gain. It’s known for disappointment and delay and isn’t reflective of riches. However, 20 is nice in relation to monetary abundance, as can be 11 and variations of 11.

3:

3 represents easy financial acquisition. But it’s up and down, inconsistent and, or it’s spent too quickly. Those with lots of heavy 3 natal and timing energy in their comprehensive charts always have an easy time “manifesting abundance” because it’s their path.

As long as they can maintain their focus (3 is known for lacking focus), they often quickly reach and exceed financial goals.

4:

Nothing is easy about 4 and money. It’s all work and discipline. However, the great thing about 4 is that it is steady, solid, and enduring. 4 is the least likely to represent windfall, but the most likely to keep and grow what is already invested.

5:

5 is nice for money in that business and careers almost always prosper, allowing for healthy profits. However, the 5 (like the 3) is too often symbolic of spendthrift ways. Discipline is necessary to really benefit financially through 5.

6:

6 is great for abundance, if it’s clear of associated karmic patterns suggesting past life debts, which is somewhat common with 6. In heavy 6 timing finances almost always improve and flourish at an even pace.

7:

7 is a bit of a wildcard in relation to money. In the vast majority of cases, timing or natal, it is symbolic of financial challenges, but it can absolutely symbolize significant prosperity. High-risk ventures are best avoided under heavy 7.

8:

8 is one of the most financially-oriented numbers. It’s big bucks, but it can also be big loss and big trouble. 8 is perfectly suited to deal with financial figures.

Potent 8 timing usually includes an increase in funds, but also more expenses. Our Numerology Decoder software allows you to find out about the numbers in your basic numerology chart.

9:

9 attracts money. effortlessly, but also lets it go just as easily, similar to the 3. With 9 money isn’t usually a primary focus (if the 9 isn’t over-balanced). Those with heavy 9, natal or timing, are the ones with a golden touch, or are partnered with those who have a golden touch. Reaping huge rewards is par for the course with 9.

Numerology Number 1

The numbers 1 and 7 may be the loneliest numbers; Fortunately, 7 has its other-dimensional beings with which to commune, as well as its books, writings, mystical revelations, and other such typical areas of focus to keep it happy.

1, however, must face at least occasional isolation and being a mundane number, its only company is desire, inspiration, goals, projects, every-day tasks, and cherished ideals. The faint at heart don’t do well with 1. In fact, a lot is demanded of 1, and they, in turn, demand a lot from others.

Heavy 1 timing, especially after heavy 6 or 3, for example, often leaves people feeling secluded and lonely, forcing them to take desperate measures to rid themselves of the feeling that they exist on a deserted island.

Sadly, even if someone with excessive 1 timing surrounds themselves with loved ones, they are likely to still feel alone. On the bright side, being forced to go it alone or start over has its advantages, and self-love eventually triumphs, as the 1 is a significant teacher in this way.

Those enduring lengthy, demanding 1 timing, which is determined as taxing by the natal configurations and, or collective timing indicators, must hang on to that which they believe in, despite opposing views from just about everyone, including those closest to them.

Instead of resenting the resistance, it’s best to thank others for helping to strengthen their tenacity. As the numerology patterns represent personal fate and karma, the actual lessons are what help you to fulfill your earthly mission.

Personal timing always changes eventually, so if you don’t like yours now, you will at some point in the future, even if it’s not until your next incarnation. Find out about your basic numerology timing and where you have 1 in your basic charts, if at all, with our Numerology Decoder software.

Whether it’s found in the natal charts or timing charts, on the high side, an abundance of 1 is frequently linked to leadership, independence, courage, original and bold action, and comfortably going one’s own way.

The strong, balanced, healthy 1 is so self-assured, shrewd, and has such tremendous drive, energy, and ingenuity, that he or she offers the uncommon and unusual, even radical. It often magically becomes the accepted standard while society celebrates their genius instead of ridiculing their audacity.

Nobody beats the 1, other than the 8 from time to time (or the clever 5 sometimes), but 8’s manipulative and confrontational practices, bully-tactics and karma-inducing behavior sends it to the end of the line while 1 takes the crown. That is, if 1 isn’t pulling similar stunts, which it has been known to do once in a while. Numerology number 1; a study of self-confidence.

Wretched is the soft 1, which can be an under-balanced 19/1 (19 being a Karmic Debt number), overwhelmed with doubt and insecurity, constantly grasping for a foothold in life. It must turn inward, strive to balance its issues, embrace all that it is, stop looking for approval outside of itself, toughen its resolve and accept that it can’t please everyone.

At the other end of the spectrum is the over-balanced 19/1 whose hallmark traits are intense aggression and hostility, selfishness, intolerance, xenophobia, and addiction.

Think of the number 1 as a straight, solid, unwavering vertical beam of light extending from above down to the ground; it’s mentally and physically oriented (not emotionally or intuitively), and two of its best attributes are its vast energy reserves and its ability to focus. Its creative inspiration, like that of a brilliant stand-up comic, is also remarkable.

Even though 1 can be the loneliest number, the energy of 1 is everything new, it’s the initiative that gets the job done, and it’s the raw determination that earns success, against all odds.

Last year many people emailed us about 7-7-07 (July 7, 2007), asking if it’s a special date due to all the sevens. We were quoted in three separate American newspaper articles about 7-7-07.

We may have disappointed some people with our perspective about 7-7-2007 since we don’t consider it a special date as reflected by the associated, in-depth number patterns.

While the year 2007 includes a seven, it’s not purely a seven vibration: 2+0+0+7 = 9. Thus, the date is really 7-7-9. Also, the 9 and 2000 of 2007 carry more weight than the 7.

The way to find the most important number mysticism vibration of any multiple-digit number is to add them up and reduce to a single digit (fadic addition).

7-7-2005 (7-7-7) includes more seven energy than 7-7-2007 (7-7-9) on this key level.

The Chinese place a lot of importance on the number eight. They largely associate it with prosperity.

Although superstition too often prevails in many cultures, we believe eight does symbolically have some advantages over other numbers, especially in relation to control, money, power, and status.

The Beijing Olympic Games are scheduled to start on 8-8-2008, at 08:08:08 pm China Standard Time in Beijing.

Here is some information about the number eight from our Numerology Decoder software:

As indicated above, eight can represent great rewards, yet it can also symbolize huge challenges, depending on the rest of the indicators in the charts.

The date 8-8-2008 is really, on the most important fundamental, numerological level, 8-8-1 (2+0+0+8 =10, 1+0=1).

This next part of the analysis of 8-8-2008 gets a little more complicated, but we’ve simplified it as much as possible.

There’s a lot of hidden seven energy in the date 8-8-2008, and it’s not very favorable seven energy. It’s a hefty combination of over-balanced and under-balanced seven energy. More information from our Numerology Decoder software is below.

——————————————–

Plenty of 16/7 energy (e.g., 8+8=16/7, 7+9=16/7) exists in the date 8-8-2008, which is a firm sign of the following and other challenges: hypocrisy, superficiality, painful collapse of ego-self ideals, rise in status leading to eventual collapse, scandal, intense pride, and self-righteousness.

Unfortunately, the comprehensive charts, beyond what we display linked above, also predominantly reflect challenging patterns.

On a positive note, the “Life Path” (the most important basic calculation in modern numerology) of 8-8-2008 is indeed eight (8+8+1=17/8), so at least the desire for eight is fulfilled potently that way (along with the day of eight and the minor symbolic influence of the 08 of 2008). It’s unfortunate though that there’s so much malefic seven associated with the date.

Additionally, the official starting time of the Beijing 2008 Olympics (opening ceremony) includes some unsavory astrological considerations, including the following: Sun in a weak house; Moon in Scorpio (opposite of it being exalted in Taurus); Saturn opposing the Ascendant; the Ascendant ruler (Jupiter as ruler of Pisces according to ancient astrology) is retrograde (modern ruler, Neptune, is in a weak house–12th); secondary ruler of Ascendant (Venus) is with Saturn; and Mercury is in a weak house.

The lesson here is that it’s important to embrace a comprehensive approach with numerology and astrology, and preferably use them together, as a surface approach easily yields unwanted and, or erroneous results.

Although we would have chosen a different start date and time for the Olympics, we accept that however it came about, fate is fate and it was meant to be that way. Besides, the symbolism doesn’t suggest total doom and hopefully the games will go smoothly without any major problems, aside from the on-going political issue (Tibet) and recent earthquake.

Mercury Retrograde

Share Button

Mercury is retrograde May 26th to June 19th, 2008 in the sign of Gemini. Mercury retrograde, which occurs a few times each year, is one of the most talked about astrological events, especially by astrology hobbyists and novices.

Although Mercury doesn’t really do a 180 and backtrack during a retrograde, Mercury appears to reverse direction for less than a month. The illusion of Mercury retrograde is due to the orbit of Earth in connection to Mercury’s orbit. After retrograde, it goes “direct,” when it appears to turn back around and go in the right direction, continuing to  progress through the astrological signs (e.g., Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc.).

Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all retrograde as well. At least one of these planets are retrograding at any given time and the further the planet from the Sun, the longer it retrogrades (e.g., Neptune for over 155 days).

Astrologically, all planets and the Sun and Moon can be classified as masculine or feminine, nocturnal or diurnal, or challenging or rewarding. But Mercury is an oddity because it can be either in every situation depending on which planet it accompanies, which makes it the hermaphrodite of the solar system.

Depending on Mercury’s condition and to which heavenly body or bodies it’s connected, it can be related to the following: communication, conversation, thievery, deception, mercurial disposition, messages, information, intellectual pursuits, and education.

Mercury retrograde is notoriously known for such things as communication screw-ups and misunderstandings, computer and other technology glitches, travel delays, scheduling conflicts, machinery break-downs, and complications with new project launches.

Mercury retrograde doesn’t make such things happen, it’s just symbolic of these things. As above, so below.

Mercury retrogrades are known for being good times to go more deeply into existing projects, re-examine already discovered prospects, re-do things, and finish things already in motion. It’s a time to slow down a bit and be more cautious.

Although Mercury retrograde (or any retrograde for that matter) is an affliction, it’s only one of many possible indicators.

In our view, too much emphasis is placed on Mercury retrograde and it’s often blamed for circumstances when it shouldn’t be, where a dozen or more other astrological or numerological considerations are more closely related to the situation.

Also, your natal astrological indications may suggest that you have an easier time with Mercury retrogrades than average. For instance, if Mercury isn’t a major player in your natal charts, it’s less of a concern for you.

How Mercury retrograde symbolically affects you also depends on where in your natal charts the current transiting Mercury retrograde falls. If it falls in a weak house for example, and is unrelated to the matter at hand, it could be even more of a non-issue for you.

Here’s our view on Mercury Retrograde timing based on our observations since the 1980s: up to 17-28 days before Mercury goes retrograde can be “worse” (communication issues, etc.) than the actual retrograde period. Also, the second half of the actual Mercury retrograde period generally runs more smoothly than the first half.

An example of a Mercury retrograde happening is to think of a seemingly great idea during retrograde, but then later you learn of additional information that changes the equation, thus that great idea is altered considerably. We’ve learned to be patient with new ideas during Mercury retrograde, put them on the back-burner temporarily, and wait a few weeks for a clearer perspective.

We suggest going ahead with anything you have planned during retrogrades and not worrying too much about the phenomenon. Just make sure you’re a little more thorough and cautious in your dealings, especially with new or important plans. Assume nothing, take nothing for granted, and be ready for some delays.
