Wall Street Excess and Spirituality

Share Button

Wall Street professionals are getting a lot of heat in the press lately for the exploits of few. Although we target Wall Street excess in this article, we believe the vast majority of financiers are honorable.

Our view is that the financial shenanigans that you see today are 10-15 years (at least) in the making, largely due to negligent, even reckless, and outdated government policy, regulations, and oversight. Politicians on both sides of the political spectrum are to blame, as are those who elected them.

An aside, though we find many foreign countries and their citizens appealing, we are grateful that we had the opportunity to incarnate as citizens of, what we believe is, one of the greatest countries on Earth. Also, we both minored in economics in college and consequently gained a vast appreciation for, and have absolute faith in capitalism, which your modern way of life depends upon.

As Margaret Thatcher said, “The problem with socialism is that eventually you (the government) run out of other people’s money.” Considering the way the government imprudently spends your tax dollars, it’s clear that the private sector is far more efficient in financial matters. The financial crisis of 2008 and 2009 pales in comparison to the never-ending, out of control spending of the U.S. government.

Furthermore, it’s a myth that fiscal white-collar villains are always white, male Republicans. The desperados hold varying affiliations and are from diverse walks of life. In fact, Democrats accepted just over 50% of Wall Street’s 2008 election contributions.

Also remember that when the super-wealthy get wealthier, it’s your good karma to benefit as well (think Bill Gates and Microsoft). The growth of the world’s economies through private enterprise benefits all, despite what some media sources might tell you. For those of you who live in the U.S.A. and other free market economies, remember that you have the freedom to take advantage of the system in any legal and ethical way you see fit, which will in turn increase your own and the world’s prosperity and standard of living.

Below we offer 7 examples of Wall Street dubiousness from a spiritual perspective.

1) When your derivatives trader acquaintance tells you with a wink and a nod that lack of proper over-sight and dreadful Securities and Exchange Commission regulations (helped along by celebrated Washington politicians, Democrat and Republican, who deal–emphasis on the word deal–with the more than 2000 lobbyists employed by the financial community) has helped create an environment where it’s easier than ever for the scammers to dodge the feds, feel compassion for her as you see a succession of future lifetimes of hers as being on the other side of a bad deal, getting ripped off repeatedly.

2) “Un-checked leveraging and bear-raids on failing companies using suspect short-selling tactics, which is like taking an insurance policy on your enemy, knocking them off, and getting away with it while enjoying the payout, has allowed me to rake in over $100 million this quarter alone!”, beams a trader. As you look at his aura and sense dozens of demons driving the bus, resist the urge to scream and run like hell. As soon as you get home do a spiritual cleanse.

3) You tour the trading floor of a high-profile firm and sense that many pros live on the edge in adrenaline, drug, and alcohol-fueled existences. The battlefields on which they work seem as fierce as any in the Middle East. While the rate of burn-out is high, have heart for these guys and gals who go for the gold. Just don’t get in their way, refuse to allow that rare broker to trade wildly, jacking up their commissions, and don’t pay excessive commissions on trades.

4) As levels of cronyism on publicly-traded firms’ boards escalates, don’t bother telling the CEO who abuses corporate finances that he is sailing a sinking ship. Know he’ll get his karmic punishment in time, even if it’s 50 lifetimes from now. When he says in a speech that his faith is very important to him, try not to laugh out loud and announce to the crowd, “Is that the faith of the Dark Lord of Pilfering you speak of?”

5) Whispers of insider trading and excessively creative accounting in non-private firms, even occasional false invoices used to purchase illicit services and goods, is enough to make you consider retribution. But be strong, it’s not worth your energy. Do what you can to combat the wrong-doing, but be careful to avoid gaining negative karma.

6) Through her bias, or even sometimes in exchange for favors, Alice the high-profile analyst over-inflates the projected worth of the equities she rates, hood-winking 1000s of investors. Nobody will notice, right? Sure, nobody but your spirit, Alice, and you’ll carry these deeds with you into your future lives. “Enjoy!”, you can’t resist saying to yourself. But have faith, she will eventually learn that it’s best to be honest, even when nobody is watching.

7) The train-robber-esque world of unregulated Credit Default Swaps (CDSs), has over the past several years turned speculation on corporate credit into a casino-style sport instead of merely hedging downside risk. “10, 20, 30 or more times your investment in leverage with only the risk of losing your initial capital! Who cares if I wreck a few companies and bring the financial industry to its knees!” exclaims George the gangster. You sigh to yourself as you sense he’ll, on a soul level, chose to endure multiple lifetimes of balancing the spiritual debt he’s acquired. Send him lots of Light, he’ll need it.

Is every Wall Street worker void of all shame and a conscience, you ask yourself? Of course not. Just as with any profession, there exist bad apples. Again, we believe the vast majority of American financial merchants are principled.

Ultimately, investors, employees, and consumers vote with their feet. If you don’t like the way some executives operate, don’t work for the company, don’t buy their products and services, and avoid investing in their equities.

Fatalism and Karma: Myths and Misconceptions

Share Button

The American Heritage dictionary defines fatalism as “The doctrine that all events are determined by fate and are therefore unalterable.” To us, fatalism is more forgiving. We have found through our long-term empirical research that at least 75% of everyone’s key life circumstances are predetermined. The type of financial standing, love life, recognition and fame, personal adversity, life purpose, and more, and the related timing; we think it’s all part of your unique personal destiny.

Fatalism in its Proper Perspective

Fatalism can be the predisposition that someone will over-indulge in and become addicted to sugar and nicotine, for example, and therefore incur serious health problems.

Fatalism, seen through comprehensive astrology and numerology, and intuitive readings, consists of general inclinations, and sometimes specific circumstances, such as an alcoholic parent, strife within the family between siblings, three difficult romantic breakups or divorces, two kids, a dynamically successful self-employment career involving publishing, or shrewd investing yielding vast abundance.

You Can Improve Your Life Even With the Most Challenging Fate

Even with the most dire personal fate, you have some freedom within your karmic plan to strive toward a better life. Additionally, we are convinced that much of predestination involves taking the right action at the right time, utilizing your free will; we believe fate and free will are intimately connected. Yet many times, significant events happen in your life no matter what you do. As the saying goes, the way to make God laugh is to make plans.

We always advocate the following life philosophy: understand yourself to the point of knowing your personal fate, deal with the hand you’ve been dealt (by your higher-self, your soul) constructively, take care of your responsibilities, and do everything you can with your free will to enhance your life.

Karma and Fatalism Aren’t Excuses to Avoid Responsibility

Unfortunately, too many people mistakenly think they have 100% free will while dismissing the belief in karma and predestination as a way to dodge obligations, commitments, and taking responsibility for their lives. Some people have the wrong idea about the topic of “fatalism” and “believing in karma.” They erroneously believe that karma is “…merely an excuse (like the will of God) to never take charge of your life and actually do something.” Or they may say that it’s just a tricky way to avoid taking responsibility because the person is too cowardly to act.

While some people on this planet (e.g., in select non-Western countries where Eastern religions prevail) believe in and practice absolute fatalism, meaning they believe they have zero free will to influence their life, all superstition aside, by and large the rest of the human race believes it is possible to improve their lives (at least to some degree) through appropriate action. “Control over one’s destiny” is another way in modern times to say “taking action to make a better life.”

Fatalism doesn’t have to mean 100% of everything in your life, even what you decide to have for desert, is fated. That’s silly. Equally silly is a lot of praying and, or visualizing without taking any concrete, efficient action toward your goals, or setting unrealistic goals.

Acceptance of Karma Equates to Taking Full Responsibility For Your Life

Most rational people today who believe in the notion of karma understand that embracing the idea of karma is all about taking responsibility for everything about your life. There’s nothing cowardly about, for example, forgiving those who have hurt you, healing yourself, accepting that you may have had the negativity coming to you (since you know that what goes around comes around even if it finally comes around from, for instance, 70 lifetimes ago), and not placing the blame on someone else.

Americans mostly believe that consistent, efficient effort makes for a better life, and we believe it does too, within the confines of personal fate. But don’t deceive yourself out of overbearing pride that you can “be or become anything you want.” You can if the desire matches your path, but life doesn’t
always work that way (total free will) despite what many self-help “authorities” might tell you.

That might sound unpleasant, but we believe you’ll agree, in time, it’s ultimately far more unpleasant to be led astray on the New Age path of illusion. Being sold New Age snake-oil is something you want to avoid, no matter how enticingly poetic and heartfelt the sales-pitch might sound to you.

Fatalism Includes Rewards Too

Occasionally there is an innately talented and intelligent person who works his or her way up from ground zero to accomplish great things, but this is all in the realm of fatalism too, in our view-big things happen because they are fated to happen. Success, good fortune, and failure is relative to your karmic plan. Hang in there and make the most of your life, it’s within your fate to do so.

Ascension

Share Button

“Ascension” is a popular spiritual topic. In Christianity the term is used to describe the bodily rising of Jesus into heaven. In the New Age, it’s descriptive of consciously transcending this dimension (i.e., “self-ascension”) to advance spiritually to a higher plane, one that is void of earthly negativity, without having to die to do so. In other words, those who “ascend” believe they are manifesting utopia, a “new reality,” freeing themselves from bondage.

The typical tale goes something like this: “Are you experiencing relationship changes and endings? Are you finding yourself more stressed? Are you going through a major shift? The Earth’s energy is rising, it’s transforming, reality is accelerating, and you don’t want to get caught up in the chaos. Take charge of your life and ascend to a higher reality!” (details of the expensive seminar follow).

In all due respect to most healers and other spiritual workers who largely only strive for the best for their clients and the world, we offer our opinion of the metaphysical notion of ascension below. Please understand that we simply relay our findings based on long-term, unbiased empirical research. We believe that if you follow our advice, you will save yourself a lot of time, and gain peace of mind.

We do address the topic of ascension regularly, albeit indirectly, through our teachings about reincarnation, fate, and karma. The ultimate goal of incarnating, of life, is to get it right and finish the karmic cycle, which could be viewed as ascension. Not everyone evolves at the same rate, in our view, and the Earth’s energy has always been changing, so the concept of ascension is nothing new.

While we readily agree that some individuals throughout history, such as ascended masters, teachers, and guides of the light, and select others may have “ascended,” we estimate that at least 95% of the population won’t be ascending this time around, no matter what seminar or course they attend. Sure, you can prepare to ascend, you can do everything possible to avoid incurring negative karma now, but unfortunately your soul, not your ego-self, tallies all your spiritual debts from past incarnations and determines when you will graduate.

Life isn’t a science fiction TV show and there isn’t a time when “true believers” will ascend to a higher plane, leaving behind all negative energy. That’s wishful thinking. It’s important to separate Hollywood fantasy from spiritual reality.

All you have to do is look at their intent, actions, and words to see that most people are, in one way or another, regularly creating negative karma for themselves that will need to be dealt with in future incarnations (karma doesn’t return to you in the same life as often as many mistakenly assume).

Even the common act of rationalizing mostly innocuous misconduct for example, or the act of psychically sending someone negative energy (such as the malicious hate mail we occasionally receive from those who disagree with our views, which always inspires us to write more, thanks!) because you don’t like their opinion can buy a round-trip ticket back to Earth.

You must first balance all your karma before ascending, only your soul knows for sure all the details about your cosmic debts, and you (your personality) can’t convince your soul (your spiritual self) to skip your karmic lessons. To erroneously believe you can side-step karma and cheat personal fate is, in our professional opinion, arrogant and ignorant, yet many New Age teachers promote such ideals.

We conclude that self-ascension, as promoted in the New Age today, is mythical and the spiritual accomplishment of ascension is only for those who have truly earned it. By the way, in our experience, if someone is telling you that this is their “last lifetime,” based on our past life regression research, rest assured that it most likely isn’t.

However, don’t let the spiritual realities we point out discourage you. If you really want to finish the karmic cycle and ascend, you will, in time, by following this simple advice: Always do the “right thing” in all situations. By the “right thing,” we don’t mean doing what is “morally” right (an opinion of what is “correct” behavior, e.g. marrying “for the sake of the children,” avoiding alcohol, or taking a stand against casual, wanton safe-sex). We simply mean treating others as you want to be treated.

The Overlooked Root of Sexual Orientation

Share Button

We recently heard a popular cable radio talk show host discuss the gay marriage ban in CA. The host often offers valuable insight about current events, but his views about sexual orientation are way off, in our opinion.

He was saying how important it was to vote Yes on Prop 8 (the bill passed on Tue., Nov. 4th, outlawing gay marriage in CA) because he said sexual orientation is not genetic (“because identical twins aren’t always both gay or straight”) but from environment, and how allowing gays to marry would damage our society.

Ah, pardon us Mr. radio show host, but we’re identical twins, our early environment was the same, yet there are innate differences between us, including sexual orientation. Our contrasts are clearly seen in the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts, by the way. And no, we didn’t look at the charts as teenagers and say “OK, you’ll be the gay one, Stephen, and I’ll be the straight one.”

What do we attribute our different sexual orientations to? Something that we’ve never heard discussed by the media in relation to the topic; past lives and karma. We thoroughly discuss these topics and more in our free download, Direct Your Destiny.

It is very clear to us, based on personal experience and our extensive empirical research, that sexual orientation, along with all the other unique characteristics of each person, begins with the soul, expresses itself through the personality, can be influenced (but is not determined completely by) genetics, and is also somewhat, to a lesser degree, influenced by environment. In other words, sexual orientation for each person is already determined before the soul enters the body.

The radio show host said environment is why many men in ancient Greece had young male lovers and if gay marriage was made legal today, it would encourage young kids to be gay. He said the percentage of gay people in Greece then vs. now was higher because of the acceptance of homosexuality.

Statistics (measured how, is unclear) show the percentage of gay people in our society now is about 10%. Really? Based on Stephen’s experience of being hit on by hundreds of married “straight” men in his teens and 20s, and the countless inquiries to his matchmaking service in the 1990s by married “straight” men seeking another man (Stephen’s service did not accept married members, by the way), he feels it’s more like 10% who are obvious or out, an additional 15% or more who have gay or bi tendencies that are not acted on or kept secret, and possibly many more who are gay or bi who are in denial.

If sexuality were only influenced by environment, which largely encourages children to be straight, there would be few gay people who are “out,” and even fewer who feel attracted to the same sex but don’t act on it. If sexual orientation were only a conscious choice, we doubt many would “choose” to be gay since it’s much easier and safer in this world to be heterosexual, especially in the many countries where sex between consenting adults of the same gender can be (and, amazingly, still is) penalized by long jail sentences, torture, and even death.

It is true that among twins, it’s fairly common for one twin to be gay and the other straight, but what the radio host and most people don’t understand (and we don’t blame them) is that people are more than just hunks of meat with a brain. Two twins can look and sound identical, but if you go deeper, through past life regression, handwriting analysis, and comprehensive astrology and numerology, for example, you will find vast differences. In other words, even identical twins have different souls and different fingerprints (despite having identical DNA), and their souls make them each unique.

Modern science ignores the influence of spirit, yet we find genetics trivial compared to non-physical considerations, such as the progression of the soul throughout lifetimes.

According to what the radio host said, he seems to be suggesting that if his early environment had been one of absolute tolerance toward gays, he may in fact be gay today. Perhaps he fought hard against feelings towards the same sex and “chose” to be straight. If he insists that sexuality is a “choice,” then perhaps he could tell us when he decided to be straight.

Some suggest that it would be bad if more people were (openly) gay. That shows a high level of intolerance, clearly. These types typically say they “have no problem with gays,” but if that were true, they shouldn’t have a problem with gay people getting married.

Those who voted Yes on Prop. 8 (to ban gay marriage), whether because of their “religion” or other reasons, may be afraid that a lot of people would choose to be gay, overthrowing society as we know it. This might give new meaning to professional sports heroes slapping each other on the ass. Maybe they’re right–it could be a threat to national security if there were no heterosexuals to protect our country (joke).

Life is too precious to hate people you don’t even know. Let’s update our views about sexual orientation, shall we? It’s “orientation,” not “preference.” How many gays have you met who are really straight but just “prefer” to be gay? Probably not nearly as many people who are really gay who prefer to be straight; perhaps this is the reason the word “preference” is so often tossed around today in connection with sexuality.

If gay marriage were legal and everyone was totally accepting, even encouraging to others to express their true sexuality, yes, more people would eventually be more comfortable acting on their gay or bi tendencies. But why would that be a bad thing? It wouldn’t, except to those who feel being gay is “wrong.” More acceptance of sexual orientation would also eventually help to eliminate the problem of gay men or women pretending to be straight (or being in denial of their true orientation), getting married as a cover, and then sneaking around behind their partner’s back, potentially putting them at risk for STDS. It would also decrease the number of teen suicides.

If there was suddenly much more acceptance of gays and lesbians, it’s doubtful that there would be a mass exodus of people turning gay and moving to West Hollywood, unless they were already closeted. Also, it’s doubtful that young children would be influenced much, since sexual orientation isn’t just about sex, but also attraction to a gender, which can start at a very young age. People tend to eventually do what they really feel anyway; more acceptance of gays would not “turn” people gay or bi who are not gay or bi already.

Complete tolerance for everyone and their orientation isn’t only “the right thing to do,” it’s a sure way to avoid negative karma and future life conflicts involving the issue.

We’re often asked which metaphysical and spiritual books we recommend.

You’ll find some grains of truth, wisdom, and plenty of inspiration (“You can do it!–ra-ra!”) in most metaphysical publications, especially the best-sellers.

After all, you would think so many people purchased them due to worthwhile content, instead of just a big name author or very effective public relations and marketing. At least we hope so.

You may not like us after reading this article. But if you heed our advice, you will eventually forgive us, even thank us, for helping you save enormous amounts of time and money in your spiritual journey. We would much rather generate positive karma (how selfish of us!) than lead you down a path of illusion just to make a quick buck.

If you’re new to metaphysics, or simply want to gain a more thorough understanding of it, we recommend titles that objectively cover the basics, such as reincarnation, personal karma, fate, destiny (same as fate in our view), and meditation, among others. A basic understanding of numerology, astrology, and other self-discovery tools can be very helpful, but knowing only a little of any esoteric science can do more harm than good unless you develop and rely more heavily upon your intuition.

Why are these subjects so important? There’s a good reason why they are an essential part of most of the major non-Western religions and spiritual philosophies of the world. Once you understand the inner-workings of these sacred subjects, your life and the world around you will make more sense.

Regarding astrology and numerology, we recommend works (or modern-day, objective interpretations of those works) prior to the 1600s AD (with some exceptions). While we value some forms of personality analysis using select forms of modern, psychological astrology and numerology, we’ve found the bulk of modern methods to be too subjective and recklessly creative, thus invalid.

Whatever titles you choose, beware if an author’s theories and messages deny personal fate and karma and he or she refuses to acknowledge that varying amounts of personal adversity is necessary for spiritual growth.

Imagine that! The seemingly unavoidable trials you’ve had involving finances, your health, or those with a lover, family, or a boss, ultimately resulted in you being a much wiser person. Who would have thought it possible that you could be grateful for such experiences and that they served you perfectly?

Too many of the well-known authors in the New Age and spiritual arena exclude discussions or even a mention of hard spiritual truths such as those involving the not-so-fun parts of life and those relating to your spiritual checks and balances.

This may be because they haven’t studied the concepts and lack an awareness of their importance. Or it may be because fate and karma greatly contradict with the main messages of their book or books, at times even rendering their claims or steps to success totally invalid.

Personally, we feel we owe it to our readers and clients to be candid about fate, karma, and other metaphysical issues. We may initially lose some potential clients who don’t want to confront the realities of these topics, but since people are better off in the long-run with the awareness we are often thanked later. We’re simply sharing the results of 20 plus years of our empirical research, without an agenda, and without a rigid marketing platform that disallows information that isn’t 100% cheery, uplifting, or inspirational.

The following are quotes from various, well known spiritual and metaphysical authors and teachers, along with our comments to show you how, in our well researched opinions, they are misleading people.

“Life is supposed to be good for you. You can be, do, or have anything that you desire.”

And if you just buy this book, you’ll instantaneously manifest a life of pure ease and luxury, erasing any and all of your negative karma, having anything you want! Sorry, that’s pure, fanciful, wishful thinking. There is no utopia and anyone who tries to sell it is either delusional or trying to pull the wool over your eyes for their own financial gain.

“Did you know that you have the power to eliminate all of the struggles in your life?”

Sure, just change your thinking and all your problems will disappear! This has to do with a secret (New Age), spiritual formula, otherwise known as denial and self-delusion. Yes, how you perceive your life circumstances can make a difference, but it will not allow you to skip karma that was set in motion before you were born, or side-step important, challenging life circumstances that serve to strengthen your soul.

“Inside, you’ll find all the tools you need to get anything you want out of life.”

The last page in this book has one word in size 17, bold font: “Sucker!” Really, there are no magic-bullet solutions to life’s complexities, as most realize (or will realize, in time).

“…will help you learn how to manifest your desires so that you’re living the joyous and fulfilling life you deserve. …It’s your birthright to live a life filled with everything that is good- and this book will show you how to make it so in every way!”

As we’ve stated many times in previous articles, we have found through extensive empirical research that everyone’s birthrights are different, and no one is entitled to anything they have not earned in a karmic sense. Everything that is good they say? Without “bad” there would be no “good.”

We half expect to soon see New Age books making promises such as, “You deserve to overcome the need to defecate” and, “It’s your birthright to feel full of energy without ever sleeping again!”

“The world of endless possibilities is awaiting you.”

Not really. What is waiting for you is what your soul has planned before you incarnated, and this may clash with what your ego-self (personality) wants.

“…Allows you to balance your key emotions in order to reach your destiny.”

Simply “balancing your emotions” to get whatever you want is like just pasting an insincere smile on your face in an attempt to feel true fulfillment. Your destiny is not a destination, it’s not “the life of your dreams” involving all the trappings of material and romantic success, and it’s only sometimes what you consciously choose. It’s your personal fate, and your soul dictates it, not your conscious mind.

It’s ironic that the author of this book uses the word destiny in the title but clearly doesn’t even understand its true meaning, the constant meaning that has been associated with the word since the ancients began predicting personal fate!

“…Helps you get in touch with the inexhaustible and natural flow of wealth. Once you tap into that flow, you can maintain and increase it indefinitely… You deserve to live a life of freedom, flow and trust.”

Increase wealth indefinitely? We teach, such as in our Direct Your Destiny e-package, how to make the most of your life. We believe you do have free will to reach destined goals, and those that fit within your personal karmic and fated plan. However, no New Age or spiritual authors, to our knowledge, have directly or even indirectly helped to produce any billionaires, ever, but today there certainly are a lot of millionaire snake-oil sales people, er, ah, we mean New Age inspirational authors. There exists personal limits in life and you can’t reach any particular goal unless it’s your fate to do so. If you don’t believe this, you would if you had done as much objective work in this field as we have. It’s impossible to deny the astonishing correlations between personal fate, karma, and past life regression work, well honed intuition, and the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts.

“Life is magical. It doesn’t have to be difficult. The universe that we each experience can be a luminous one. Your life can be all you imagine.”

We agree that life is magical, and as long as you have a great imagination, you can imagine anything you want. In fact, imagination is a great tool to help bridge the gap to reality. But those dreams will not become reality unless they are part of your destined path. The good news is that if you’re centered and grounded (regular meditation helps), you will naturally tend to draw your focus toward goals and dreams that are destined for you.

“One’s positive thoughts are powerful magnets that attract wealth, health, happiness.”

This is extracted from one of the biggest selling metaphysical books published in recent years. We’ve written about it in prior articles.

It’s unfortunate that this overly simplistic spiritual viewpoint, while denying all other conflicting spiritual laws, implies that people who suffer natural disasters or who die in plane crashes, for example, must have been low on positive thoughts that day.

Are these authors selling their souls to the devil to make a buck? Most of them likely mean well (we hope!), but just be wary of major life-changing claims. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Hey, we’re all for lots of inspiration, but if it’s not grounded in spiritual truth, ultimately it’s not going to be for your highest good. Do you now see why the New Age has earned a bad reputation?

Commercially-corrupted versions of spirituality are hot sellers because the packaging is captivating, the marketing is powerful, instantaneous credibility is given to almost anyone who appears in mainstream media, a sheep-herd mentality exists, and people have always looked for immediate gratification and quick fixes.

We recommend reading whatever you’re attracted to, as bits of wisdom and inspiration, often just what you need at the time, can be found in most books. But keep in mind that if the author promises, for example, a perfectly compatible soul mate or over-flowing financial abundance, these may not be your personal birthrights and such lofty goals are not going to be reached unless they are part of a person’s destined path. Everyone’s personal fate is different.

Within all self-help, inspirational, and spiritual books, we would like to see a one page disclaimer about the reality of fate and karma, and personal adversity, and how any promises the author makes aren’t applicable to everyone, or even anyone. But then again, perhaps it’s not everyone’s personal fate and karma to be aware of the concepts of fate and karma, despite their lives being ruled by them.

13 Other Spiritual Laws: Some Supersede the Law of Attraction

Share Button

The law of attraction dictates that you attract that which you focus on. But this spiritual law is only one piece of the puzzle. You must take into consideration other, equally important spiritual laws, some of which transcend the law of attraction.

These findings, our interpretation below of 13 basic spiritual laws, are the result of our extensive empirical research. Most of the 13 are directly linked to the law of attraction. We are convinced that these laws affect everyone, just as gravity affects everyone on Earth no matter what their belief in it.

Understanding and capitalizing on all of these spiritual laws will help you live your highest potential and enjoy more peace of mind, satisfaction, happiness, and joy in your life.

1. Law of higher-self/soul influence over personality: Your soul’s agenda, spanning multiple lifetimes, supercedes your personality demands if those demands contrast with your soul’s intentions. Everyone has a higher-self/soul, yet you must make an effort to get more in touch with it to receive the wisdom and guidance you seek. The information and tools in this package will help you become more in touch with yours.

2. Law of subconscious personality domination: The beliefs, fears, and defenses of your subconscious mind rule your life. The graphology tools in this package can help you learn more about your subconscious mind and its hidden beliefs, fears, and defenses.

3. Law of reincarnation: Your soul, not your personality, chooses to incarnate again and again on this planet and elsewhere to learn and love.

4. Law of predestination/personal fate/destiny: All souls choose their major predestined circumstances and events of each incarnation prior to incarnating, even though the current life personality is often not aware of those choices and even if the current life personality doesn’t believe in predestination/personal fate/destiny. No one can cheat their fate. Sometimes fate comes knocking at your door, other times you must make an effort to meet your fate. In the case of the latter, you often meet your destiny by doing or initiating that which feels most natural, for better or worse.

5. Law of karma: Everything you put out (intent, thought, action, etc.) will return to you (in this life, or more likely in a future life) even if you don’t believe in karma.

6. Law of dharma: What you must do in this life.

7. Law of projection: You see the world as you are, not as it is.

8. Law of polarity: In this world there will always be opposites such as hot and cold, peace and war, love and hate, wisdom and ignorance, and dark and light.

9. Law of intent: Your true intentions are what drives your free will. Sometimes your conscious intent differs from your unconscious intent, which can cause conflict.

10. Law of as above, so below: Patterns and considerations of comprehensive astrology and numerology charts represent life circumstances and events, they don’t “affect” you or “make things happen.”

11. Law of asking for assistance: If you want help from others, including spiritual guides, masters, and helpers in other dimensions, you must ask for it.

12. Law of universal order: The universe is ordered and far from being purely chaotic. You see the order every day in the change of seasons, the way cherry trees grow cherries and not pears, and the way planetary motions are predictable. This universal order permeates human existence and allows for accurate interpretation of personal fate through empirical methods involving comprehensive astrological and numerological charting.

13. Law of free will: Each individual has free will to take appropriate action within the confines of their destiny. However, people do what feels most appropriate, what feels right, and our findings indicate that those actions regularly match their personal fate. In other words, much of the action they take and subsequent results match their unique karmic plan (as indicated comprehensive charting methods), which supports the theory of predestination.

How Much Choice Do You Really Have? — Fate vs. Free Will

Share Button

We would agree that everyone has at least some choice in life but we feel that most “choose” to do that which aligns with their fate regardless of how much decision-making power they think they have. As outlined in previous columns, our belief is that everyone has far more power of choice in spirit form before they incarnate.

Our view is that people generally don’t change and that at least 75% of personal circumstances and events for everyone are predestined. If people did change, nobody would remain as they are and nobody would match the myriad of personality traits, events, and circumstances symbolized (quite clearly through comprehensive methods if the analyst is going about it correctly) in their numerology and astrology charts. We’ve observed, time and time again, that people don’t ever “choose” to do something that’s out of line with who they are as defined by in-depth numerology and astrology charting, even if they’re unaware of their charts.

Some might call us “fatalists,” and incorrectly label our positions as overly-cynical and void of “promise,” but please understand that we are simply relaying the results of our research. If the idea of predestination discourages you in any way, know that you have the ability to “get what you want,” on a personality and ego-self level at least some of the time, as long as the desired result doesn’t conflict with your earthly path.

For example, your fate might deny you enduring sizzling romance with your spouse; but you apply your free will, decide to make the most of your connection by emphasizing the rewarding parts and therefore enrich your life through the expression of gratitude.

Those who have patterns in the comprehensive charts symbolizing the following random traits or circumstance, for example, will “choose” to behave a certain way (at the appropriate time, indicated by the timing charts) that supports the manifestation of a related event, regardless of whether or not they believe in fate.

*Aggressive

*Affluent

*Social

*Family oriented

*Romantic

*Sexually assertive

*Partnership oriented

*Spiritually disciplined

*Friendship oriented

*Antagonistic

*Submissive

*Expressive

*Linguistic

*Versatile

*Traditional

*Secretive

*Controlling

*Altruistic

Furthermore, people whose primary motivation is recognition, for instance, will “choose” the options that offer them the most fame and recognition, and they will have the opportunity to manifest it if it’s their destined path.

People who are naturally highly motivated by money will “choose” the path with the highest compensation, and will manifest amounts in accordance with their fate, considering they act on their inborn desire, which they invariably do. People who have great lifetime money aspects in their comprehensive charts will “choose” the path where they make a lot more money than most people.

Alternatively, people who have very challenging lifetime money aspects in their comprehensive charts will “choose” the path where they don’t acquire much money, or they will acquire money and then lose some or all of it by “choosing” ill-advised, high-risk investments, for example.

Those who have aspects in their comprehensive charts for having happy family relationships will “choose” to do things that encourage that. People who have aspects in their comprehensive charts for having unhappy family relationships will “choose” to do things that promote those circumstances.

People who have not-so-great love karma will repeatedly “choose” partners who cheat on them or who are otherwise unreliable.

People who have strong addiction aspects (food, alcohol, drugs, etc.) will “choose” to overindulge, again and again.

Emotionally needy people (as easily discerned through handwriting analysis) will “choose” to never be alone by “choosing” to either stay complacently in a relationship that is over, or by leaving a connection as soon as they find someone else with whom they can form a relationship.

Hollywood actors who have great lifetime fame and recognition aspects will “choose” the path that allows them to become famous. Hollywood actors who have terrible fame and recognition aspects will “choose” the path that provides them relative obscurity. People who have great fame aspects, along with “fall from grace” aspects, will “choose” the paths that allow for fame and also infamy.

It’s good to assertively direct your energy toward goal achievement, but even the most goal oriented and motivated person will admit that often life seems to “happen to” them. Circumstances beyond your control will nudge and often times push you in the predestined direction. The best anyone can do is to make the most of themselves and their fate, strive for self-awareness, change what they can, accept what they can’t change, and stay open for clues about the next best step in all areas of life.

Yes, everyone has the power to choose, but they invariably “choose” what feels right, and what feels right is consistently in harmony with their fate.

DNA and Reincarnation – The Theory of DNA Genetic Coding is Connected to Predestination

Share Button

When young children are asked the right questions, such as “What did you do when you were big? Who were you when you were big?” they can sometimes tell you quite a bit about their previous lives. A good book on the subject is Children’s Past Lives: How Past Life Memories Affect Your Child, by Carol Bowman.

DNA and reincarnation can’t be physically linked so DNA testing would not verify reincarnation. DNA is related to the physical body, not the spiritual body. Reincarnation is the spiritual body coming back again and again.

Does this disprove reincarnation? We consider reincarnation a theory and you can’t prove theories valid, you can only invalidate them. Reincarnation has yet to be invalidated.

In situations where parents have discovered shockingly solid links to what a child says and actual deceased people, there’s a strong case in favor of reincarnation, but that doesn’t qualify as the physical evidence needed to convince the strongest skeptics. In our view, “proof” is unimportant because whether the past life recall is real or subconscious metaphor, past-life exploration is a fantastic self-discovery and healing tool.

As we’ve stated before, we don’t believe in “chance.” For example, it’s common to receive confirmations after experiencing a past life regression, such as researching and corroborating names and dates received in regression or later meeting people who somehow fit into the puzzle.

As identical twins, we have identical DNA, yet our unique personalities and distinct physical differences point to the idea that human life is much more than just biological science. One must consider the influence of spirit too; every body is occupied by a unique soul and the qualities and detriments of that soul shine through in physical form.

While we find hereditary and environmental scientific theories interesting, including the idea that much of character is determined by genes/DNA, we view them as superficial in relation to the migration of the soul and other non-physical considerations; spiritual considerations overshadow mundane, modern-scientific, earthly ones, just as the vast universe overshadows this planet.

We feel that the theory of DNA genetic coding, which represents predetermined  physical, emotional, and psychological makeup and is supported by behavioral geneticists, is connected to predestination in that souls choose the most appropriate bodies for what needs to be experienced on Earth.

In this line of thinking, the decisions one makes once in the body on a personality level (including those relating to relationships and children), the way they “choose” to act and emotionally react, the way they think, and thus the way they behave, are largely fated. We see truth in this philosophy because we regularly and consistently outline all of the aforementioned personality dynamics, along with past, present, and future conditions and circumstances through our work, thereby decisively and repeatedly substantiating the concept of fate.

Everyone’s Birthrights Are Different

Share Button

We respect those who search for their own answers in relation to spirituality, the meaning of life, and the concept of fated personal circumstances and events. In our professional opinion, everyone’s birthrights are different.

Let’s define, in this context, what a birthright is. In simple terms, it’s what is owed to you, in a karmic sense (rewards and challenges); birthrights are the credits you’ve earned and the debits you owe from past life actions.

Contrary to popular belief and based on our research, we’ve found that birthrights aren’t automatic entitlements to the “infinite possibilities of the universe.” Free will exists, but total free will is only available to you in spirit form before incarnating. Why? So you can’t escape confronting the issues you’re meant to work through, and therefore grow and progress.

Popular New Age declarations such as “It’s your birthright to have whatever you want,” are inspiring and sound promising, but these statements are too often misleading and potentially damaging. Disappointment and feelings of despair and failure ultimately follow when the New Age adherent learns the hard way that he can’t simply erase his intense marriage problems and “create a dream relationship,” for example.

On the other hand, inspirational messages can be like fuel for those who are following their highest path, take the action necessary to reach their goals, work efficiently and purposely, and are destined to reach those goals. But inspiration may be only a temporary high, an escape from reality, for those who don’t take action to reach their goals, or more importantly, have not set goals that match their fate.

By the way, sometimes “failure” or not getting what you want is integral to important life lessons and even future success. If everyone “got what they wanted” all the time, what would the world be like and how would one distinguish between failure and success?

Alternatively, we wholeheartedly approve of feet-on-the-ground proclamations such as, “you can have anything your heart desires, as long as it fits in your karmic and destined plan.”

Successfully reaching important life goals demands diligent effort, not just pure inspiration and idealism. More important, to know what’s most fitting for you (and within your personal, unique karmic blueprint), you must first ask in meditation, repeatedly “who am I?” and “why am I here?” if you want to begin to make the most of your existence.

One person’s dharma (what one must do, in accordance with one’s karmic plan) might be to live a life having enormous power and influence, and another’s might be to learn humility and live a modest lifestyle. One person’s fate might include decades of deep romantic love, another’s might include decades of solitude (e.g., as a monk, in a religious order, or even in prison), perhaps necessary for his or her spiritual growth.

Remember, we’re talking about long-term plans, as in multitudes of lifetimes that serve higher purposes, not just about trying to get what one wants right now, in this life, such as the most coveted material aspects of the American Dream.

How do you know what your birthrights are? Keep asking yourself. Get to know your higher-self through regular meditation. Comprehensive astrology and numerology are great tools to help confirm your hunches.

Don’t be afraid of discovering that your personal earthly plan may not be as glamorous or seemingly rewarding as another person’s might be. Everyone has an important role in this world. Some are meant to make a difference in one person’s life, and some in many people’s lives, but all are part of the bigger plan and ultimately we are all in this together.

Elephant is an Elephant–Personal Fate is Set in Stone

Share Button

We applaud those who get inspired, think positively, and work hard to create the life they want. Hopefully, they are realistic and their desires and expectations are part of their destined path so that their efforts will make their dreams come true.

As we’ve outlined previously, through much comprehensive empirical research* since 1992, we’ve come to understand that you can’t cheat fate and avoid predestined events and circumstances in your life.

Yes, everyone has free will to think positively, be inspired, make the most of their destiny, and react to fate, but this doesn’t change fate in the present life. It only helps to deal with it better.

Many “experts” saying that nothing in life is predestined reminds us of the famous parable of the blind men and the elephant. It displays what results from a limited and cursory perspective.

In this story there are six men who are blind. Together they encounter an elephant for the first time and each gives his analysis of the creature. Their interpretations are based on the particular part of the elephant they happen to touch.

The first blind man touches the animal’s sturdy side and says the elephant is like a wall.

The second blind man feels the elephant’s sharp tusk and declares the elephant to be like a great spear.

The third blind man grabs the trunk and, with positive authority, announces that elephants are like snakes.

The fourth blind man slides his hands along the elephant’s knee and says that clearly an elephant can be best described as a tree.

The fifth blind man examines the elephant’s waving ear, and is convinced that the elephant is some sort of fan.

The sixth blind man grasps the elephant’s swinging tail and claims that an elephant is like a rope.

Each is partly right since they made contact with one part of the whole. However, they are all wrong because in their blindness they failed to comprehend the creature in its entirety.

*Our objective study and long-term application of a great many cyclical timing methods including those of comprehensive predictive numerology and astrology (other than simple modern numerological cycles and modern astrological non-continuous cycles such as transits and progressions) regularly and constantly have displayed to us that personal fate is measurable.
