Spiritual Advice You Should Ignore Part II

Share Button

Thanks to modern technology and the Internet, you’ll find an abundance of spiritual information online when you seek answers to your spiritual questions. Unfortunately, so much of it is spiritual advice you should ignore.

Throughout over 30 years of extensive metaphysical and spiritual exploration, we’ve never adhered to only one system, religion, or outlook. Instead, we use intuition, reason, common sense, and long-term observation to discover what works.

Below is some of the spiritual advice we’ve found that is best ignored since it’s unhelpful or even dangerous.

Vegan and vegetarian diets are the most spiritual. If this kind of diet works for you, great, but eating animals doesn’t incur negative karma. Also, every body is different, and some people cannot thrive on such a diet, especially over a long period.

Feng Shui will bring you everything you want. We’ve found that Feng Shui can be helpful if the focus is on directional Feng Shui and the structure of the home, not simply colors or lucky charms. Also, it won’t override your fate or enable you to create what isn’t already destined for you.

Your problems are the result of bad energy or a curse. Any psychic who makes this claim and says she can clear your aura for thousands of dollars probably doesn’t even know how to identify negative energy or clear it.

Demons (or dark energy) don’t exist unless you give them energy. We used to believe that, until we delved deeply into the topic, and learned the truth about spirit releasement, possession, and Spiritual Detox, and cleared our own energy fields of spiritual debris. Since then, we’ve learned to recognize the signs of possession and attachment and cleared many people and places.

Black magic is not bad, just another form of energy. Any form of black magic is tapping into dark energy and is usually about manipulation instead of wanting what’s best for everyone involved. Avoid it at all costs or you’ll be a slave to dark energy for a very long time. The saying “selling your soul” is exactly what happens when you exploit dark energy.

Use spells to create what you want. Be very careful with spells, especially old spells that can draw forth generations of fears and negative energy. Have only good intentions and never attempt to control someone or you’ll create negative karma for yourself.

Some psychics can bring a lover back. Anyone who says that is a charlatan and should be avoided. Even if they do have the ability to influence your lover, it will create negative karma for you and you can’t cheat fate if they’re not destined to return.

A soul has to wait a certain number of years before reincarnating. Every soul is different. Some may wait many years, and some jump back into a body as soon as possible, depending upon what they need and want to accomplish.

Each soul incarnates a certain number of times. There is no set number of incarnations. Some get it right in fewer incarnations but most choose to return over and over to work through their karma.

A soul only incarnates into a certain race, country, religion, or gender. Most souls choose to experience all of them.

You only live once. Your current personality may only live once, but your soul comes back again and again.

You are doomed if you don’t follow a particular religion or belief. You don’t need religion to do the right thing and treat others as you want to be treated.

Your Twin Soul is your perfect match who was created for you. Our findings completely invalidate this notion.

You only have one soul mate. Yet another romantic myth. You have many, and most are more for personal growth than romantic bliss.

You can manifest your soul mate. This is wishful thinking. If you are destined to meet a compatible soul mate, you can use your free will to reach that goal. If you are not destined to meet a good, lasting match at this time, you won’t.

Spiritual Advice You Should Ignore Part I

Share Button

There’s no shortage of spiritual information online. Seek answers, and you shall find helpful information. But you’ll also find plenty of spiritual advice you should ignore.

We started exploring metaphysical and spiritual subjects over thirty years ago. In our exhaustive searches and studies, we never followed only one religion, outlook, guru, or system. Instead, we like to try and test many options, then apply reason, intuition, and long-term observation to determine what works, and what doesn’t.

Below is a collection of the spiritual advice we’ve found isn’t helpful, or worse, even harmful.

Check your horoscope. Horoscopes and computer generated astrology reports are too general to be accurate.

Have your chart done. Unless the astrologer is very psychic and uses a basic chart as a touchstone for insight, one single chart, the basic natal modern astrology chart, is merely an introduction. Your comprehensive natal and timing patterns, comprised of hundreds of factors, tell the real story, mitigating or supporting any single notion found in the basic chart.

Numerology and astrology are only about possibilities, not predicting fate. We’ve found that ancient, comprehensive numerology and astrology can predict fate, if you go deep enough. The “only possibilities” mantra is based on trivialities and distortions of these ancient sciences.

You can change your destiny and nothing is set in stone. We’ve found that most significant events in your life, those you need to experience in order to learn, balance karma, or reap your rewards, are set up before your birth. Thus, many of your core life circumstances and events are set in stone.

Take drugs for a vision quest or spiritual trip. All drugs lower your resistance to and attract spiritual troublemakers and parasites. Use meditation, not drugs, to grow spiritually.

Past lives don’t matter. They don’t matter until you realize how much (a lot) the subconscious memories, emotions and karma from them are influencing your current life. You are a collection of your experiences from past lives, and your current life often mirrors your past lives.

You can erase your karma. It’s obvious to us, after 1000s of past life regressions, that everything you do and say will come back to you, even for people who don’t believe in past lives. Forgiveness and acceptance can ease karma, but you can’t overcome it without wading through your (karmic) experiences.

You need to be in a relationship to grow spiritually. Perhaps for certain lessons with certain people, but relationships can also keep you stuck. Learning to enjoy being alone at least some of the time can help you make strides in your spiritual and personal growth.

The Secret, a popular book published in 2006, can help you achieve any goal you want. Unfortunately, such New Age advice about the law of attraction leaves out very important parts of the puzzle: It’s only one law, and other spiritual laws, such as the laws of karma and fate, supersede the law of attraction. In other words, if it’s not your fate to be fabulously wealthy, famous, or a best-selling author, it’s not going to happen. The good news is that if it is your fate, you will be able to use your free will to make it happen. Even if it’s not, from a spiritual perspective, the experience of trying to reach a goal is more important than reaching it.

If you believe you can achieve. By all means, shoot for the stars. But it’s important to be realistic too. Otherwise, you’ll burn yourself out and not have enough energy to focus on meeting the goals that are part of your destiny.

What you desire is your “birthright.” Sometimes yes, other times no. Just because you want something doesn’t mean you’ve earned it through good karma.

A vow of poverty is pious and honorable. This implies that making money is a bad thing, which is false as long as you earn it honestly. If you want to be a martyr and add more struggle to your life, go ahead, but we don’t recommend it.

26 Things You Won’t Say or Do on the Other Side Part II

Share Button

Based on life-after-life accounts from past life regression, the research of Stafford Betty, and Near Death Experiences (NDEs), the afterworld is quite different than life on Earth. One main reason is that you, or your soul, is no longer confined by the limits of your body and mind.

The list in this article is about life after death in the Light, where most souls go after shedding their body. Some souls go to levels of a lower vibration, but they always have the choice to call out for help, embrace the Light and work to progress to higher levels.

Below are 11 things you won’t say or do on the other side.

Be racist or accuse others of race privilege

You’ll be able to clearly perceive all your other lifetimes you’ve lived as all or most races. Because of this, souls understand race is a temporary facade, so racism doesn’t exist on the other side. Souls can also see that those screaming the loudest on Earth about privilege likely abused it in past lives.

Be sexist or accuse others of gender privilege

All souls can see that they’ve experienced lives as both male and female in order to learn and grow, so gender privilege is a non-issue.

Feel guilty or envious about finances or status

Instead, you’ll perceive all your previous lifetimes spanning back thousands of years as rich, poor, and in-between, and realize the karmic reasons and lessons for each.

Feel cheated about family, friendships, love life, or health

You’ll understand that everyone earned it, or needed to experience it for growth and that they chose it, on a soul level.

Feel guilty for not strictly adhering to religious doctrine

There is no required religion, thus no one will give you any rules about how often or whom you are supposed to worship.

Be an atheist

On the lower planes souls can choose to deny a higher power. But once they go into the Light, they realize there is no religion, yet it’s also impossible to ignore the energy of God or a higher power. They also realize that it’s okay to be an atheist while incarnated; it won’t disqualify you from entering the other side after death.

“I’m too old”

While souls have varying degrees of wisdom and numbers of lifetimes, there are no physical body constraints. Many souls appear as they did on Earth in their last lifetime, but at their most vibrant and in their physical prime (many who’ve had near death experiences say souls look about 30 years old).

Forget your loved ones who are still incarnated on Earth

Many on the other side help their incarnated loved ones by sending them love and inspiration.

Be lazy

After souls rest and recuperate, particularly after a rough incarnation, they have more than enough energy to reflect on past life mistakes, learn, and plan for their next incarnation or the next level of their growth.

Assume that in order to be metaphysically aware, you must wear a robe, meditate all day, and live in a remote mountainous region

Instead, you’ll look back on all the people in your previous incarnation and you might be shocked about the soul level of some of them beneath the surface. Some of the most seemingly mundane individuals are sometimes the most spiritually advanced souls.

Make metaphysical concepts seem much more complex than they really are to sell more books (hi Deepak!)

Spiritual truths are simple on the other side.

26 Things You Won’t Say or Do on the Other Side Part I

Share Button

Based on our experience with past life regression, life-between-life regression, documented near death experiences, and the after life research of Stafford Betty, we believe there is nothing to fear about death.

When you shed your physical body, your soul moves on to a different dimension. Once there, since you’ll no longer be confined by the limits of your physical body, mind, biases, excuses, fears, and earthly programming, your perception of yourself and your actions in all your past lives will be crystal clear.

You likely have a lot to look forward to after this life, especially if you try to be a good person in this life. Bad people are not punished on the other side, but they will have to return to Earth and make up for their actions.

The list below applies to the after-life realms we call “the Light.” This is where most souls go after death of the body. Dark or lower vibration realms also exist, where souls who match that energy go, but they always have the option of turning away from the darkness and progressing to the higher realms.

Below are 15 things you won’t say or do on the other side.

Deny reincarnation

After death of the body and entering the other side, it’s obvious to all souls, sometimes painfully, that reincarnation and karma are far more than just theories.

Hold a grudge

Your soul will understand both sides of any conflict, the intended lessons, and why it’s in your best interest to forgive yourself and anyone who ever hurt you while incarnated.

Feel prolonged despair over a lost love

Since you’ll be reunited with lost loves on the other side, understand the reasons for the loss, and more importantly, see through all the romantic and earthly illusion, you might think you made life more difficult for yourself by prolonging the suffering.

Feel like time is running out to find a partner, have a baby, get rich, or reach other earthly goals

You won’t strive for these goals there, but you might plan for them in future lifetimes, and realize you’ll experience what you need to at the right time in the right lifetimes.

Feel lonely

You’ll experience so much love and support that you won’t have room for it.

Force a friendship or relationship for the wrong reasons

All your needs are met, so there’s no reason to exploit anyone for anything.

Be unhappily single

There’s no lack of love, thus no need for romantic relationships, but you can experience one if you choose to.

Lie to anyone, including yourself

Most humans tell white lies occasionally, but after death all is seen in the Light of truth, so it’s impossible to be anything but completely honest. There’s no hiding from the truth after you shed your earthly body and ego.

Manipulate a loved one

Love can only be unconditional there, so you won’t be able to control anyone or carry out a hidden agenda.

Be excessively selfish

Everyone on Earth is selfish to some degree, but since you’ll be extremely empathic, you won’t want to be.

Feel guilty about sex

You won’t feel the need to have sex, but you can if you choose to. You also might feel bewildered by the amount of shame associated with sex and nudity on Earth.

Be plagued by excessive morality and dogma

For example, you’ll realize that “sex without marriage is bad” is a belief of man, not God.

Believe that money is evil

You’ll understand that it’s not bad to make and enjoy money while incarnated, as long as you aren’t hurting anyone in the process.

Work for money

Souls work on themselves, rather than for a paycheck, in between lifetimes.

Steal

You’ll have all you need so you won’t need to. Also, you’ll fully understand that even minor theft and other negative behavior when incarnated will incur negative karma that you’ll have to balance.

Afterlife–Response to Skeptic’s “When You’re Dead You’re Dead”

Share Button

A family member recently told us, “When you’re dead, you’re dead. There’s nothing after this life.”

Everyone has their own opinion, but that surprised us considering all we’ve written about the subject, and since she hadn’t told us her true views before.

We strive for impartiality, so maybe we need to consider her viewpoint further. After all, there is so much confusion surrounding the issue of life after death.

For hundreds of years, radical religious leaders have warned people they’ll go to “hell” for not being of a certain faith, homosexuality, divorce, and other sins like any type of sex other than in the missionary position, in the dark, strictly for procreation with a spouse.

Is it any wonder, with all the talk of behavior deemed to be sinful, atheists and others reject religious notions about the afterlife? (To be fair, not all religious leaders use the sin/fear tactic, and some don’t believe in hell.)

Then there are the woo-woo New Agers who talk about “ascension” and other captivating concepts, but there’s little corroboration in any form to back them up. The New Age has a bad name for a good reason.

We agree that when you die, that’s it for your physical body. And why should anyone believe in souls or the afterlife, especially if they’ve never experienced anything to indicate otherwise?

Well, lots of people have, and it’s important to consider what they say because their insight can explain so much about not only the afterlife, but this life too.

While we cannot physically prove life after death, there are countless people who have been pronounced clinically dead, experienced life after death, and then came back to life and reported what they perceived. Incredibly, most credible descriptions have similar threads.

Some skeptics refuse to look at the evidence, sometimes out of fear of the unknown. Others don’t like the idea of absolute personal accountability that coincides with reincarnation, karma, and life after life.

But for those who are open to exploring more about life after death, below is a partial list of people who share some fascinating information.

Life after death:

Life After Life: The Bestselling Original Investigation That Revealed “Near-Death Experiences by Raymond A. Moody Jr., M.D.

The Afterlife Unveiled: What the Dead are Telling Us About Their World, by Stafford Betty PhD.. Click here for a summary of some of the fascinating findings from his research.

— Pam Reynolds’ near-death experience, during a brain operation, is one of the most interesting and best documented in NDE research. Watch the BBC documentary here.

Countless others have shared their near-death experiences (NDE), ghost sightings, encounters with loved ones who had already died, and readings with credible mediums who act as a conduit between the living and dead. With a little research, you will find plenty of examples that are difficult to reject as imagination or fiction.

Past Lives:

— Return to Life: Extraordinary Cases of Children Who Remember Past Lives, by Jim B. Tucker M.D.. Read about four cases from the book here.

A police captain who found evidence of one of his past lives.

— Finally, the work of Dr. Stevenson, former head of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia. He spent over 40 years researching over 3000 cases of past life memories of children from all over the world. Many skeptics and scholars agree these cases offer the best evidence yet for reincarnation.

We understand the fear of the unknown about life after death. We also understand the skepticism since countless preachers have warned of the fiery pits of hell if you don’t live up to their opinion of morality. But the more you investigate the subject of life after death, the more it becomes clear there is nothing to fear, this life is a precious opportunity, and death is a transition, not the end.

“The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd; indeed in view of the silliness of the majority of mankind, a widespread belief is more likely to be foolish than sensible.” Bertrand Russell

“All great truths begin as blasphemies.” George Bernard Shaw

“The universe is wider than our views of it.” Henry David Thoreau

DNA, Twins, and Souls: A Shocking Angle to Heredity vs. Environment Debate

Share Button

As identical twins, we are supposed to be genetic mirrors of each other and conventional scientists attribute our differences in personality to environmental influences.

Contrast that with our controversial viewpoint: we associate our unique personalities and distinct physical differences to the influence of spiritual heritage; everyone, including identical twins, has a unique soul.

Life is much more than mere biological science. Why not consider the influence of spirit too?

We contend that you aren’t just a hunk of meat with a brain and that the unique qualities and spiritual heritage of each soul shine through and influence the physical body and personality.

The mainstream scientific community rejects the notion that people are spiritual beings having a human experience. In their view, it’s either heredity or environment.

Interestingly, more and more geneticists now believe that identical twins aren’t really “identical.” This New York Times article sheds light on the issue:

“From the moment that most identical twins separate, they may well have different epigenetics, a term that refers to the way genes are read and expressed, depending on environment. They are already different products of their environment, the environment being whatever uterine conditions rendered them separate beings in the first place.

“The casual observer is fascinated by how similar identical twins are, but some geneticists are more interested in identifying all the reasons they might differ, sometimes in significant ways. Why might one identical twin be gay or transgender and not the other? Why do identical twins, born with the same DNA, sometimes die of different diseases at different times in their lives? Their environments must be different, but which aspect of their environment is the one that took their biology in a different direction? Smoking, stress, obesity — those are some of the factors that researchers have been able to link to specific changes in the expression of specific genes. They expect, in time, to find hundreds, possibly thousands, of others.” (Bold emphasis ours.)

The researcher links differences among twins, such as sexuality and health, strictly to environment: “Their environments must be different…”

Being identical twins, with different sexual orientations, health issues, and personalities (and the same early life environment), we find their orthodox approach shortsighted.

The concept of DNA genetic coding is linked to personal fate.

Behavioral geneticists assert that DNA genetic coding largely predetermines psychological, emotional, and physical make-up.

We find this fascinating because we believe that key elements of personality are predetermined, yet we also believe that they’re missing what comes before that–the history of the soul before it enters the body, and how that history and karma influence the personality and lifetime.

Unseen, spiritual considerations overshadow conventional science and the mundane just as the vast universe outshines Earth. You have free will within the framework of your fate and karma, but you have far more power of choice in spirit form, before you incarnate.

Being identical twins and having scrutinized twins through empirical research involving past life regression and comprehensive astrology and numerology, we are in a unique position to offer a noteworthy perspective: Each twin expresses the personality traits they are fated to (not by chance), everyone has a unique soul and past life history which greatly influences each lifetime, and the vast majority of everyone’s key life circumstances and events are preordained.

As the New York Times article linked above about the twins who were switched at birth implies, even if you put a person whose karma and destiny does not include wealth into an affluent environment, they won’t get rich just because of the environment.

Our findings show the reverse is true too: someone from a poor background whose karma and destiny includes extraordinary prosperity will achieve it. In short, environment doesn’t trump karma and fate.

Spirituality–The Enlightenment Secret

Share Button

The ultimate goal of many spiritual seekers is to find enlightenment, which is another way to say awakening to spiritual awareness or illumination. A tall order, but with discipline it’s possible to make serious progress on your spiritual path.

I think a spiritual journey is not so much a journey of discovery. It’s a journey of recovery. It’s a journey of uncovering your own inner nature. It’s already there.”
Billy Corgan

We’ve found those words of wisdom to be true. As teens in 1981, we recall listening to the song “Spirits in the Material World” by The Police on their album Ghost in the Machine. To us, it meant everyone is a spiritual being having a human experience.

As you mature and your spiritual heritage (soul) emerges, you begin to recover the wisdom you were aware of on the other side, but temporarily forgot. The recovery process would be helped along if every parent encouraged their young children to explore any memories of the other side or past lives (which many children recall up to about age seven), but the memories are usually dismissed as a child’s imagination. Unfortunately, the veil of forgetfulness is further fostered by society; rarely do friends, family, teachers, and neighbors encourage you to go within and rediscover your true essence underneath a lifetime of programming.

We’ve been interested in non-religious spirituality for as long as we can remember. The dead-ends we encountered in our younger years, exploring various spiritual paths, disciplines, and methodologies, piled up like leaves in autumn, but the journey was worth it. Most of the fruitless avenues were heavy on hope and inspiration, and light on reason, or were too superficial to be taken seriously.

Over the course of more than 30 years we’ve managed to identify several reliable spiritual disciplines. Our long-term findings involving meditation, past life regression, psychic perception and comprehensive astrology and numerology lead us to this conclusion: a permanent state of enlightenment, a blissful one where you are completely free of all fears, defenses, and biases doesn’t exist. The secret to enlightenment is that you must work at peeling away the layers of your inner nature (such as through meditation) to make progress and you probably wouldn’t still be incarnated if you didn’t have more to discover.

The reason you can’t completely free yourself from your fears, defenses, and biases is because you can’t control your subconscious mind. It will think what it wants, and you’re powerless over it. However, you can detach from it through meditation, and work with it with tools such as hypnosis and subliminal audios.

Be wary of those who say they never get irritated, upset, angry or experience other “negative” human emotions. It’s not spiritual or normal to project a phony “I’m always blissful and peaceful” facade. Stay clear when that repressed beach ball of emotions finally bursts through the water’s surface while they are under pressure or stress.

Spiritual seekers eventually realize that you can encounter more wisdom in your own backyard than you do in some exotic location on the other side of the planet.

As Harry Nilsson belted out in 1971 on Jump Into the Fire, “You can climb a mountain, you can swim the sea, you can jump into the fire, but you’ll never be free.” We’re not sure exactly what he meant, but those words remind us that true freedom, and spiritual satisfaction, are found within, not elsewhere.

“Music is mediator between spiritual and sensual life.” Ludwig van Beethoven

The most illuminated people you’ll ever meet frequently don’t look like the “spiritual” type. A construction worker, military colonel, waitress, and nurse, for example, may be far more spiritually adept than a priest or a beads, crystals, and caftan wearing author of the spiritual best-seller.

On your journey of enlightenment, wisdom comes from within, and music, prayer, quiet reflection, walks in nature, and regular meditation are all effective ways to remember it.

9 Kinds of Intelligence–Which do You Possess?

Share Button

Academic performance is widely accepted as an indication of intelligence. But excellent grades may only equate to a talent for memorizing facts, figures, and formulas, not necessarily wisdom, brilliance, or street smarts. Various kinds of intelligence seem to exist, considering the world is replete with millionaire and billionaire high school and college dropouts.

Howard Gardner, in his 1983 book Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences, proposes seven different kinds of intelligence.

Supporters of Gardner’s theory contend the traditional definition of intelligence is too restricted, and that humans think and learn in different ways.

Critics say his theory isn’t scientific enough, and that Gardner is simply using the word intelligence instead of the word ability.

Below are the seven different forms of intelligence, as defined on Gardner’s website, plus two more.

Visual–spatial

“The ability to conceptualize and manipulate large-scale spatial arrays (e.g. airplane pilot, sailor), or more local forms of space (e.g. architect, chess player).”

Bodily-Kinesthetic

“The ability to use one’s whole body, or parts of the body (like the hands or the mouth), to solve problems or create products (e.g. dancer).”

Musical

“Sensitivity to rhythm, pitch, meter, tone, melody and timbre. May entail the ability to sing, play musical instruments, and/or compose music (e.g. musical conductor).”

Linguistic

“Sensitivity to the meaning of words, the order among words, and the sound, rhythms, inflections, and meter of words (e.g. poet). (Sometimes called language intelligence.)”

Logical-mathematical

“The capacity to conceptualize the logical relations among actions or symbols (e.g. mathematicians, scientists). Famed psychologist Jean Piaget believed he was studying the range of intelligences, but he was actually studying logical-mathematical intelligence.”

Interpersonal

“The ability to interact effectively with others. Sensitivity to others’ moods, feelings, temperaments and motivations (e.g. negotiator). (Sometimes called social intelligence.)”

Intrapersonal

“Sensitivity to one’s own feelings, goals, and anxieties, and the capacity to plan and act in light of one’s own traits. Intrapersonal intelligence is not particular to specific careers; rather, it is a goal for every individual in a complex modern society, where one has to make consequential decisions for oneself. (Sometimes called self intelligence.)”

Naturalistic

“The ability to make consequential distinctions in the world of nature as, for example, between one plant and another, or one cloud formation and another (e.g. taxonomist). (Sometimes called nature intelligence.)” This wasn’t part of Gardner’s original seven, but he added it in 1999.

Gardner also suggested “existential” intelligence in his 1999 book, which could be interpreted as spiritual intelligence.

What is spiritual intelligence?

Professor of Psychology at UC Davis, California Robert Emmons defines it as “the adaptive use of spiritual information to facilitate everyday problem solving and goal attainment.”

He proposed four parts of spiritual intelligence:

  1. “The capacity to transcend the physical and material.”
  2. “The ability to experience heightened states of consciousness.”
  3. “The ability to sanctify everyday experience.”
  4. “The ability to utilize spiritual resources to solve problems.”

Based on our observations, if you have high spiritual intelligence, you may seem unusual, even weird, to most people. You may have tried to fit in, but feel like an outsider or misfit. You may be very psychic, empathic, and sometimes aware of the truth of situations to the point of it being overwhelming.

From where do the natural abilities associated with each form of intelligence originate? Are they just random talents included with the body? Are they gifts from God?

We believe natural abilities are usually the result of earning them through practice in past lives, even if you don’t consciously remember the past lives. Some people are fortunate to possess more than a few forms of intelligence. This might indicate they’ve worked hard in many lifetimes to master the skills.

The vast majority of people aren’t super-human, possessing high levels of multiple forms of intelligence. Even Stephen Hawking, who is considered one of the most intelligent men in the world, may not be extremely spiritually intelligent, in our opinion.

In an interview published in The Guardian, Hawking said he believes there is, “no heaven or afterlife,” and that such a notion was a, “fairy story for people afraid of the dark.” Mr. Hawking doesn’t appear to have done any research about life after death, unlike Stafford Betty PhD, who has been researching it for over 25 years. Isn’t a sign of intelligence not passing judgment on that which you haven’t thoroughly investigated?

As you can see, everyone is different and unique, and there certainly seems to be many different kinds of intelligence. When you follow your passions and develop your talents, you’ll be improving your form of intelligence and, or ability.

Our Direct Your Destiny e-Package helps you boost your spiritual intelligence to get more out of life. https://spiritualgrowthnow.com/directyourdestiny/

12 Psychic Myths Many People Believe

Share Button

We’ve encountered many myths about psychic readings over the years. It’s not surprising there’s so much misinformation and fiction related to metaphysical readings; sometimes the practitioners are to blame.

Below are twelve psychic myths based on our over 30 years of experience with the subject.

Psychics know everything.

This is where some psychics get into trouble. They allow their followers and clients to assume they know everything, and then lose respect when they don’t. A very famous psychic let this happen to her. She died a few years ago with a bad reputation because of it.

Being psychic doesn’t mean you know everything. It’s like watching TV. Just because you’re tuned into one channel doesn’t mean you know everything that’s happening on every channel at every moment.

No psychic is 100% accurate 100% of the time.

Sometimes a reader won’t perceive something because you’re not supposed to know it.

Also, regarding questions like “What is he thinking?” or “Does she like me?”, it’s not your right to violate anyone’s privacy and pry into their mind.

Psychics can erase karma.

No one can erase another person’s karma. You must balance it yourself by experiencing whatever is related to it.

Psychics can bring a lover back or stop divorce.

No, they can’t, and if someone tells you they can they’re lying or delusional. If it’s over, it’s over. Using love spells for this is spiritual manipulation and black magic, and will create negative karma for you and the psychic.

Psychics can tell you if your partner cheated.

Some might be able to, but your relationship may not be worth saving if you have to ask a stranger such a question.

Psychics can predict the big lottery jackpot numbers.

Maybe if you’re destined to win, but you probably aren’t, so they won’t be able to perceive the numbers for you.

Only psychics are psychic.

Everyone has some degree of psychic ability. You can increase yours to a degree through regular meditation. Meditation will help you relax, focus, and become more aware of the answers to your questions.

You can alter your destiny.

Some psychics claim, “Nothing is set in stone.” We’ve found that most major events in everyone’s life are predestined. You then have free will to react to them.

Psychics tap into demonic energy and should be avoided, along with all other non-religious spiritual practices.

Psychic work, tarot cards, astrology, numerology, channeling, and other metaphysical practices are not demonic or negative by themselves. However, it is possible to tap into dark energy, with or without metaphysics, if you don’t know how to protect yourself.

Because of this, we recommend visualizing yourself surrounded in white Light, asking for protection and guidance from guides of the Light and your God, avoiding drugs and negative people, and avoiding black magic or similar dark energy rituals.

Only experienced mediums can communicate with the dead.

The loss of a loved one is always difficult. It’s only natural to want to contact them and continue communication.

We believe loved ones who cross over do check in from time to time with those they left behind, are there for you when you need them, and frequently try to help.

The trouble is, however, most of us are not conditioned at an early age to be open to or identify communication from the other side. Most people miss the signs.

In our experience, people who are spiritually sensitive can perceive communication from the other side. For everyone else, daily meditation can help you be more receptive to such insight, as will accepting that your loved ones who crossed over can hear you, and want to help.

Reincarnation and karma are not related or that important.

A good psychic understands that you can’t have one without the other, how much they influence your current life (a lot), and that accepting these theories is empowering through personal responsibility.

Your soul mates are mainly for romance.

Everyone has many soul mates and most of them are for spiritual growth. Anyone who says otherwise needs to stop reading so many romance novels.

Astrology and numerology are only about possibilities.

Once you move beyond the superficiality of modern astrology (e.g., horoscopes, exclusive focus on transits, solar returns, etc.), into comprehensive charting using ancient methodologies, you escape the “only possibilities” nonsense and start to identify “here it comes” predestined life events and circumstances.

Our Favorite Spiritual Laws

Share Button

Everyone has heard about the law of attraction, but there are other spiritual laws about which you should be more excited.

Embracing these spiritual laws will help you get the most out of your life by minimizing negative circumstances and generating peace of mind and satisfaction.

Our long-term empirical findings indicate everyone is bound to specific spiritual laws, just like heavenly bodies are bound to Kepler’s three laws of planetary motion, which outline how they orbit the Sun.

Below we list our favorite spiritual laws.

1. The law of karma dictates that every good intent, thought, and action will return to you, in time. How great is that? Also, any injustice will balance itself out, eventually, so seeking revenge is pointless, and it incurs further karma anyway.

At the same time, this law demands personal responsibility. Thus, if you find yourself on the receiving end of some tough karma, the best approach is to change what you can and accept the rest.

You don’t ever have to worry if life is fair because the law of karma dictates it’s perfectly fair. We believe what goes around comes around, usually in future lifetimes, not this life.

You can “create your reality” to a certain extent but your actions now will have as much or more impact on your future lives. This is related to another law, the law of predestination.

2. The law of predestination (same as destiny, fate, and predetermination) is wonderful because all those rewards you’ve worked so hard for in past incarnations catch up to you eventually, sometimes in this life. At the same time, life’s challenges are also part of personal fate. Perceiving them from a different perspective, as necessary experiences for a higher purpose, makes them easier to digest.

3. The law of reincarnation causes you to keep incarnating until you get it right. How do you get it right? Do your best and react with love and compassion instead of fear, as often as possible. Easier said than done.

The great thing about the law of reincarnation (in conjunction with the law of personal fate) is that you take with you a lot of what you establish while in bodily form: talents, wisdom, health karma, money karma, and so on.

Lofty goals may not be so lofty when viewed from the perspective of multiple lifetimes. Have you always had a burning desire to be a famous actor, for example, but you don’t see it happening in this life? Keep dreaming and using your free will to work toward your goal, even if it’s only doing community theater in your free time. Thoughts are things, and although they may not manifest in this life, they may eventually if backed by enough energy.

4. The law of as above, so below (i.e., celestial phenomena is symbolic of life on Earth) mandates that patterns in comprehensive astrology and numerology charts reflect life circumstances and events. This is one of our favorite spiritual laws because you can use the knowledge to prepare for and limit life’s challenges, and maximize life’s rewards.

5. The law of universal order, as with the law of as above so below, shows that the universe is orderly, not chaotic. Heavenly bodies spin and orbit predictably, the seasons change when we expect them to, pumpkin seeds grow pumpkins and not strawberries, and horses birth foals and not lambs. The law of universal order underscores the human experience, allowing for the measurement and interpretation of overall personal fate through comprehensive astrology and numerology.

Ultimately, the above spiritual laws are exciting and inspiring because they indicate that life is so much more than a random series of events. It has infinite spiritual meaning, and you can take unconditional love, compassion, and lots of other good things with you into the next phase of your soul’s journey.
