Questions for Psychics: Ghosts, Mediumship and Spirit Guides

How can I communicate with loved ones who have crossed over, you ask?

The loss of a loved one is always difficult. It’s only natural to want to contact them and continue communication.

We believe loved ones who cross over do check in with those they left behind from time to time, and they are often there for you when you need them, even if you can’t sense their presence.

The trouble is, however, that most of us are not conditioned at an early age to be open to communication from those who have crossed over, and to identify it. Even though many may be beamed messages from the other side frequently, most people don’t acknowledge the signs.

In our experience, only those who are open-minded and, or spiritually sensitive can perceive this type of communication. Regular meditation can help those who are less sensitive, who are open to the possibility, to receive some insight.

If you want to receive communication from your loved ones who have crossed over, start by meditating daily. Getting into the practice of being centered and in touch with your higher-self will allow you to eventually be more aware of the spirit world. If you are disciplined enough to meditate regularly, you’ll also find you’ll be reaping the many benefits of this practice, such as being more relaxed and intuitive.

We believe that many of the rewards found through spiritual disciplines such as meditation demand at least some sacrifice, such as reducing your TV time. But the sacrifice seems like nothing once you begin to gain the benefits of your discipline.

Spend some quiet time alone with no distractions. Visualize yourself surrounded with a bright, white Light, or pretend the sun is shining brightly down upon you. Breath deeply, focus your attention on your heart or third eye area, and if you have trouble emptying your mind of thoughts, try imagining transferring all those preoccupations into an imaginary basket sitting next to you. Just say, “OK, I’ll get back to all of this after I meditate.” Then count from 1-100 until you begin to feel more relaxed. Perceive the numbers in your mind, or better yet, imagine them appearing on your chest plate or third eye area as you maintain your focus on that spot.

The more intently you focus, the easier you will get into a meditative state. You’ll get better with practice and eventually be able to gain insight about your questions.

You also may be able to communicate in your dreams with loved ones who have crossed over. Before bed, relax and think about the good times you and your loved one shared. Be grateful. Talk with him or her and share your questions or anything else that’s on your mind. Then ask for help in becoming aware of their presence in your dreams and recalling those dreams. Also ask for help from God or whomever you pray to and in time you may be able to be more perceptive of spirit communication. It’s also a good idea to immerse yourself in protective white Light, a cocoon of soothing, healing energy, before falling asleep to help you sleep better.

Is there a ghost in my home, you ask?

It’s much easier for us to offer a professional opinion on such matters by being physically in the location, but based on what someone tells us, sometimes it can be pretty obvious that a lost soul is hanging out in their home or workplace.

Sometimes it’s the result of someone dying in the home or area years ago and never going to “the Light.” Other times the resident unknowingly allows a lost soul into their home.

Fortunately, this problem is relatively easy to fix. One option is to send the spirit to the Light. Check out the book The Unquiet Dead by Edith Fiore. Aside from being an easy read that describes how and why lost souls can interfere with your life, there’s also an effective script in the back of the book you can read aloud which will help send lost souls on their way.

What is my spirit guide’s name and how can I communicate with them, you ask?

By design, you lack a continuous, direct line to your spirit guides, one that would always allow you to get the right answer instantaneously. Why, you ask? Because it would be too easy to skip the challenges in life, which amount to your earthly lessons.

But we believe many of you, especially if you have an active interest in metaphysics, are predetermined to be able to receive at least some other-dimensional guidance (such as through meditation), thereby gaining enough insight to help make wiser choices in life and shortening the learning curve a little bit.

Rather than attempting to link to a spirit guide, who might not be entirely helpful or even of the Light, go within to tap into your Higher-self, or God. We believe you can receive all the help you need (within reason) if you discipline yourself to tune into this stream of truth, the language of spirit. Don’t expect reams of information, like you’re listening to a speech, but do expect subtle hints, phrases, images, scents, symbols, and emotional impressions. If you pay attention and get into a meditative state of mind, with regular practice you’ll perceive what you need, when you need it.

Four Frequently Asked Questions of Psychics

Share Button

“Who was I in my past life?”

Which past life? Most people alive today, in our findings, have had many past lives (we’ve perceived 100s of our own). It would help to narrow down which past life you want to know about, such as one in relation to how you knew a certain person or why you have a specific interest or conflict.

Incidentally, human civilization goes back much further than recorded history on this planet, as evidenced by numerous artifacts (not to mention human remains from over a million years ago) found over the past several hundred years that don’t belong to any known historical cultures. There is also the possibility of lifetimes on other planets and in other dimensions. In all, your experiences incarnating into physical form could feasibly have spanned millions of years thus far.

Even if you don’t choose to believe in past lives, you can still benefit from the insight if you perceive it as subconscious metaphors to help advance your understanding, healing, and love.

You can perceive your past lives, with practice and discipline, through meditation and dreams. Past life self-regression is also an option, which can be done safely and privately with an effective audio.

It’s almost as if your higher-self is constantly noting every iota of your behavior, trailing behind you with video camera, audio, and even thought impression tracking. That record stays with you permanently and you’ll be forced to balance it, but often not until future lifetimes.

No matter who you were before or what you did or didn’t do, don’t fret. Everyone has been the bad guy, multiple times. What matters most, since you can’t alter your existing karma without balancing it directly, is to conduct yourself the right way now, in this life, all the time.

By the way, our work has shown us that everyone has had lifetimes as other races, nationalities, with varied economic backgrounds, etc. Everyone has a lot more in common with each other on this planet than it may seem, and your current life mirrors your past lives more than you may realize.

As far as who you’ve known in past lives, it’s likely you’ve known most of the people in your life today. If you are close to someone now, whether it be family, friends, or lovers, the connection was likely similar in past lives. For example, if you have a good relationship with your sister, she could have been a good friend in a past life. Or your neighbor now may have been your neighbor in Paris in the 1700s.

Note: Not all “unfortunate” current life situations are the result of negative karma from prior lives. Your soul chose the major themes and situations in your life in order for you to learn and understand, thus spiritually progress. Life’s rough patches, the trials and tests you regularly endure, offer perfect opportunities to “get it right” and advance.

“When will I get pregnant?”

We’ve heard this question from many women, usually after they’ve been trying to get pregnant for a while. Some mention how they’ve spent a fortune on medical assistance.

The wisdom of the book “The Cure For All Diseases” by Dr. Hulda Clark involves cleansing and healing the body naturally, without drugs or surgery, which can enhance fertility and increase the likelihood of becoming pregnant. It’s a great source to help you heal various health problems.

Caution: Dr Clark’s methods (which have no side effects) are controversial because they are holistic-based and if your doctor isn’t familiar with non-traditional healing modalities, he’s likely to reject them.

Our delineation and predictive work allow us to perceive when someone is more likely to have or adopt children. But it’s important to realize that the right souls come to mothers and, or fathers whether the baby is conceived by them or adopted. In other words, spiritually speaking, how the child arrives is less important and people will be parents or caretakers to the kids with whom they are meant to interact no matter what path they take.

“How can I develop my (psychic abilities)?”

The most effective ways to develop your psychic abilities involve practice and meditation. Regular meditation will increase your psychic ability, as will asking for clear, obvious insight in your dreams (and to remember it when you wake up) before you go to sleep. Writing down your questions before sleep and then what you remember of your dreams as soon as you wake up each morning will also help.

“What should I do for a career?”

Sometimes it’s a necessary part of one’s path to go through the (sometimes very lengthy) process of considering all options and arriving at a conclusion, or stepping stone, on one’s own.

One way to start narrowing down your options for the most fitting career is to write a detailed list of your fantasy job including tasks, skills, hours, days, responsibilities, what your coworkers are like, what your boss is like, etc. Be creative, yet realistic, and focus on your strengths. Think about your favorite areas of interest and hobbies and go from there. What makes your heart sing? What are you happiest doing? What is your passion and what can you do that’s related to it that would serve yourself and others?

Keep asking yourself, “Where and what is my next place in the world?” until you receive clues or guidance. Meditation will also help you a lot with your new career path every step of the way.

10 Tips For Self-improvement Acceleration With Subliminal MP3s

Share Button

Subliminal technology involves audio or visual suggestions that your mind perceives at a subconscious level, but not at a conscious level. Remember, your subconscious takes in every detail of your environment, even the ones you can’t consciously perceive; everything you’ve ever sensed, seen or heard is stored in this memory bank.

Subliminal technology has been around since the 1950s. Subliminals are more effective than affirmations because the subconscious mind is your mind’s power and control center and accepts suggestions with less judgment than your conscious mind. Also, phobias can be difficult to overcome since fears and defenses are housed in your subconscious mind; consciously you realize that flying is relatively safe, for example, but your subconscious mind still fearfully reacts when you step onto an airplane. This is why targeting your subconscious to alleviate fears is effective.

There is some debate about whether subliminals really work. In our research we’ve discovered that the studies which have found subliminals ineffective haven’t used the technology properly.

For example, one study repeatedly flashed a sentence to participants multiple times for about 60 minutes. Another study flashed words on a screen for several minutes. In both cases, this is not enough time to have much of an impact.

Ideally, we’ve found that it’s best to see or hear the suggestions for at least three hours daily for at least four weeks, especially when the issues you’re confronting involve significant behavioral changes. Also, the suggestions must be phrased properly and be consciously acceptable to the person listening, such as in line with her goals and principles.

We’ve used subliminal suggestion audios for over 25 years. They can be very powerful if written, produced, and used in a coordinated, focused manner.

Below are guidelines to use subliminals to help you reach just about any goal.

1) Subliminal suggestions are best when phrased simply, positively, and in the present tense. There is debate about whether “you” or “I” is better. We have used both with success. “I am not smoking” will not be as effective because the subconscious mind may perceive that as “I am smoking.” “It’s easier for me to quit smoking now” and “My will power is becoming stronger every day” are better. Suggestions targeting many aspects of a goal including the resistance to the goal are best.

2) Some subliminals include what are called “masking sounds,” such as music or the sound of ocean waves. We recommend noiseless subliminals because they aren’t distracting and you can listen to them all day on auto-repeat while working, playing, surfing the internet, and even while driving.

3) If you sleep soundly you will be able to listen to noiseless subliminals all night long. A number of light sleepers have found they don’t sleep as well. Everyone is different, so experiment.

4) For best results, listen to quiet subliminals on auto-repeat, continuously (in the background while doing other things is fine), for at least three hours daily, for at least four weeks (six is better) initially. The longer you listen, the more likely your subconscious will embrace and capitalize on the suggestions.

5) If you listen at your computer, for example, and turn the volume up, anyone within earshot will be affected. It’s up to you whether or not you want others around you to benefit from the audio too.

6) Listening to more than one subliminal audio, unless they are closely related, is too much for your mind. Work on one goal at a time. Nervous tension and heightened stress are common symptoms of trying to blast too many different messages to your subconscious at once.

7) It’s natural to be skeptical of the effectiveness since you can’t consciously hear the suggestions. Subliminals work even for cynics and for those “too strong willed” to benefit from hypnosis. Everyone can benefit from hypnosis if they are willing to let go, follow directions, and have a sincere desire to reap the rewards.

One way to test the effectiveness of subliminals is to listen daily for the recommended number of weeks. Then, re-read the suggestions for that particular subliminal. You will likely find that your mind is following the directions without you even being consciously aware of them. This truly is almost effortless change.

8) If you listen to a 12 minute-long subliminal recording on auto-repeat, for example, and each suggestion is repeated at least 5 times within the 12 minutes, that’s 25 times per hour, and 75 times per day for each suggestion if you listen for at least 3 hours a day. Eventually, with recurrence, the subconscious mind will begin to follow the suggestions, just like an obedient horse follows your lead.

9) Some people may recommend that you should only buy a subliminal or hypnosis audio created by a “licensed mental health professional,” which is unwarranted. The truth is that subliminals and hypnosis have been used effectively long before licensed mental health professionals got over their fear of the falsehoods regarding these amazing tools, finally understood the benefits, and decided to use the methods in their practices.

It’s great that some mental health professionals are endorsing and promoting subliminals, hypnosis, and past life regression, but credit really should be given where credit is due.

Licensed mental health professionals didn’t pioneer subliminals, hypnosis, or past life regression and it’s not their right to slap a disclaimer on their audios suggesting that it’s unsafe to use audios formatted by holistic healers or other non-licensed mental health professionals.

10) Another myth is that you need a specialist, such as a licensed psychologist specializing in weight issues, for example, to format a good weight-loss subliminal or hypnosis suggestions. As long as you use the best technology and techniques available and use properly phrased messages, which don’t take a psychologist to understand or write, it’s not necessary to be a licensed specialist to format a good subliminal or hypnosis audio.

Do you have a goal that you’d like help with? Are you receptive to alternative methods? Then we highly recommend subliminal audios. Get your potent, subconscious mind on your side to make the most of your life.

The Power of Gratitude

Share Button

“What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it–would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have.” –Ralph Marsto

We believe gratitude is one of the most powerful spiritual tools at your disposal. Gratitude, instead of resentment, helps you cope with life’s challenges better, magnifies optimism, eases depression, increases happiness, makes you feel more in control, helps you achieve a higher level of well-being, and helps you feel like you are in the right place at the right time.

What are you grateful for? When you drop expectations of the way things “should” be and express more gratitude, your life will improve. We’ve found that being grateful can even dramatically transform your life, within the boundaries of your personal fate.

For example, if you feel stuck in a major rut, rather than resist, be grateful for the situation’s hidden opportunities. Accepting what you can’t change and being grateful for where you are in life will allow you to free yourself from the mental bondage and rise above the mundane challenges. Before you know it, you’ll be having more fun and be able to move beyond, or at least more easily deal with, that particular life test.

Use the following list as a starting point to express gratitude for where you are, everything in your life that you have (even if it’s not ideal or perfect for you right now–be grateful for how it is and what you like about it), and all the good that will be.

Be grateful for the following: the opportunity to be alive on Earth and to live where you do; choices in your life; the ability to communicate; the ability to think; the ability to read; the ability to express yourself; the ability to love; your health; your relationship or single status; your kids if you have them; your parents, relatives, friends, family, and pets.

Be grateful for opportunity for growth; life’s challenges that make you stronger; your hobbies; good books; opportunity to learn; emotions; passion; your intellect; your ability to forgive; and of course smiles.

Let’s remember to be grateful for the sun; flowers; gardens; green grass; trees trees; beautiful landscaping; nature; the forests; the deserts; the plains; the oceans; the ability to swim in the ocean; the beach; spring; summer; fall; and even winter.

Be grateful for entertainment, movies, theater, travel, your favorite music and performers, the ability to fly across the world on a jet, your favorite city, money, good sex, and love.

It’s a great idea to be grateful for the military that keeps you safe; cops for protecting you; firefighters for saving you; free enterprise; civil liberties; capitalism; economic growth; honest public officials; voting rights; democracy; and of course the U.S. Constitution (for those of you who are American citizens).

Express gratitude for ethnic foods; your favorite foods; your favorite restaurant; good sleep; exercise; meditation; yoga; and nutritional supplements.

Be grateful for your work, employees, boss, transportation, home, furniture, clothing, and your comfortable bed at night.

How about being grateful for technology, the Internet, email, and Google? We’re sure you can think of many more things for which to be grateful.

To make the most of your gratitude, we suggest you bond it to another dynamic spiritual energy: faith. Gratitude and faith can be used together as one of the most potent spiritual forces available to you, even when things are not going the way you had hoped they would. Cultivate the use of these forces as often as you can and then watch your life change for the better.

10 Forgiveness Tips

Share Button

One of the most beneficial things you can do for your emotional well-being is to forgive. Forgive everyone who has ever hurt you, let you down, ripped you off, and anyone you perceive as the “enemy.”

Why? Because holding on to resentment toward someone depletes your energy, delays spiritual progression and growth, and makes your life more stressful. Forgiveness will not make you let your guard down, make you overly-vulnerable, or allow the troublemaker to continue hurting you if you don’t want it to. In fact, it will make you stronger and possibly even protect you from further harm.

Below are 10 tips to help you forgive and let go.

1) It’s important to note that forgiveness is a process. It doesn’t usually happen overnight. Commit to it and eventually the negative feelings will fade.

2) If you’re having trouble forgiving someone, try the following exercise. Meditate on the situation and person and visualize them in front of you. Explain why you’re upset, then tell them you forgive them. Notice the reaction you perceive them to have. Do this until you can feel your forgiveness, and remember it’s not for them, but for you. Every time you think of the person express forgiveness to them.

3) Try to view the situation from their viewpoint and consider all the possible reasons why they acted as they did (such as experiences in their childhood, lack of awareness, emotional or mental instability, neurosis, possession, etc.). Try to feel compassion for them, though at first it may seem easier to turn water into wine.

4) Accept that whatever happened may be something you chose, on a karmic, spiritual level, to experience. Take responsibility for your part of what happened “to you.”

5) Realize that if you don’t forgive them, guess who you’ll get to come back with in a future life for another round? That should help you let go of the resentment more quickly.

6) Realize that they will get what’s coming to them eventually, even if it doesn’t appear so to you. Our findings indicate that karma often doesn’t return to someone until future lifetimes. You do not have to, and should not attempt to assist this process, by the way. If you do, you will create more negative karma for yourself. Revenge with no apparent consequences may have been a popular theme in the 80s show Dynasty, but unlike in TV-land, vengeance comes with a heavy spiritual price in the real world.

7) Life is demanding. Instead of targeting someone with animosity and creating more tension and trauma, try other activities like meditation, exercise, watching funny movies, or doing something nice for someone. Lighten up and let it go. Life is too magnificent to waste it being angry.

8) Forgive, but don’t forget. Be compassionate, yet stand your ground.

9) Remember to forgive yourself. It’s amazing how many people have managed to forgive others, but have not found the self-love to forgive themselves.

10) Go through the following list and forgive everyone. Feel the forgiveness. Express the forgiveness. Remember, it’s not for them. This is for you.

We recommend you forgive your parents for ignoring or smothering you; your mom for embarrassing you; siblings for being too hard on you; and your sister for hitting on your high school boyfriend.

Also forgive that strife-generating coworker; the office tattle-tale; the office opportunist; the office back-stabber; bosses who took advantage of your loyalty; the guy who fired you; the gal who didn’t hire you; neighbors for being nosy; neighbors for violating your right to peace and quiet; your neighbor’s dog for crapping in your yard; relatives for making your life a living hell; your obnoxious aunt; your funny but annoying uncle; the father of your first girlfriend; your former lovers; the date who stood you up; and the date who slandered your good reputation.

While you’re at it, forgive extreme liberals; those who refuse to separate Church and state; Christians; Muslims; politicians who are fiscally irresponsible; extreme conservatives; anyone who discriminates based on sexual orientation; anyone who discriminates based on race; anyone who discriminates based on nationality; republicans; democrats; God, for laughing when you announce your plans; your higher-self for being so bold on the other side; dark entities–they dislike, are repelled by forgiveness; and demons, for trying to bring you down.

Let’s also forgive Wall Street hustlers; U.S. Congress; big government; reckless government; Bin Laden; CNN News; FOX News; CNBC News; ABC News; CBS News; MSNBC News; biased media reporting; dishonest media Reporting; biased reporters who have a political agenda; Katie Couric; Sarah Palin; Barack Obama; terrorists; corrupt politicians; gang-bangers; Barney Frank; Al Gore; radical environmentalists; eco-terrorists; polluters; Chris Dodd; Chris Cox; Bernie Madoff; George W. Bush; Hillary Clinton; Rush Limbaugh; Bill Clinton; classmates from high school and grade school; the economically ignorant; wealth destruction advocates; the teacher who embarrassed you; the stock market; rich people; poor people; the mob; bigots; hypocrites; and affirmative action advocates.

It will make you feel a lot better if you forgive all of the following: ignorant people; intolerant people; critical people; jealous people; judgmental people; gays; bis; straights; blacks; whites; Asians; Latinos; Native Americans; Indians; Chinese; Japanese; Thais; Middle Easterners; Russians; Canadians; S. Americans; C. Americans; Africans; S. Africans; Europeans; stingy people; spendthrifts; animals; teachers; priests; ministers; nuns; gamblers; alcoholics; smokers; people who toss cigarette butts out of their cars; and drug addicts.

Remember also to forgive loud mouths; the woman who talks way too loudly on her cell phone; the guy behind you on that flight who wouldn’t shut up; cops; cop killers; those who disrespect military personnel; those who hate Americans; criminals; and finally, yourself.

That’s a lot to forgive, and we’re sure you can think of others you could forgive. But you can do it, and think how much more energy you’ll have to make the most of your life after you do.

“Always forgive your enemies – Nothing annoys them so much.” – Pamela Daranjo

Wall Street Excess and Spirituality

Share Button

Wall Street professionals are getting a lot of heat in the press lately for the exploits of few. Although we target Wall Street excess in this article, we believe the vast majority of financiers are honorable.

Our view is that the financial shenanigans that you see today are 10-15 years (at least) in the making, largely due to negligent, even reckless, and outdated government policy, regulations, and oversight. Politicians on both sides of the political spectrum are to blame, as are those who elected them.

An aside, though we find many foreign countries and their citizens appealing, we are grateful that we had the opportunity to incarnate as citizens of, what we believe is, one of the greatest countries on Earth. Also, we both minored in economics in college and consequently gained a vast appreciation for, and have absolute faith in capitalism, which your modern way of life depends upon.

As Margaret Thatcher said, “The problem with socialism is that eventually you (the government) run out of other people’s money.” Considering the way the government imprudently spends your tax dollars, it’s clear that the private sector is far more efficient in financial matters. The financial crisis of 2008 and 2009 pales in comparison to the never-ending, out of control spending of the U.S. government.

Furthermore, it’s a myth that fiscal white-collar villains are always white, male Republicans. The desperados hold varying affiliations and are from diverse walks of life. In fact, Democrats accepted just over 50% of Wall Street’s 2008 election contributions.

Also remember that when the super-wealthy get wealthier, it’s your good karma to benefit as well (think Bill Gates and Microsoft). The growth of the world’s economies through private enterprise benefits all, despite what some media sources might tell you. For those of you who live in the U.S.A. and other free market economies, remember that you have the freedom to take advantage of the system in any legal and ethical way you see fit, which will in turn increase your own and the world’s prosperity and standard of living.

Below we offer 7 examples of Wall Street dubiousness from a spiritual perspective.

1) When your derivatives trader acquaintance tells you with a wink and a nod that lack of proper over-sight and dreadful Securities and Exchange Commission regulations (helped along by celebrated Washington politicians, Democrat and Republican, who deal–emphasis on the word deal–with the more than 2000 lobbyists employed by the financial community) has helped create an environment where it’s easier than ever for the scammers to dodge the feds, feel compassion for her as you see a succession of future lifetimes of hers as being on the other side of a bad deal, getting ripped off repeatedly.

2) “Un-checked leveraging and bear-raids on failing companies using suspect short-selling tactics, which is like taking an insurance policy on your enemy, knocking them off, and getting away with it while enjoying the payout, has allowed me to rake in over $100 million this quarter alone!”, beams a trader. As you look at his aura and sense dozens of demons driving the bus, resist the urge to scream and run like hell. As soon as you get home do a spiritual cleanse.

3) You tour the trading floor of a high-profile firm and sense that many pros live on the edge in adrenaline, drug, and alcohol-fueled existences. The battlefields on which they work seem as fierce as any in the Middle East. While the rate of burn-out is high, have heart for these guys and gals who go for the gold. Just don’t get in their way, refuse to allow that rare broker to trade wildly, jacking up their commissions, and don’t pay excessive commissions on trades.

4) As levels of cronyism on publicly-traded firms’ boards escalates, don’t bother telling the CEO who abuses corporate finances that he is sailing a sinking ship. Know he’ll get his karmic punishment in time, even if it’s 50 lifetimes from now. When he says in a speech that his faith is very important to him, try not to laugh out loud and announce to the crowd, “Is that the faith of the Dark Lord of Pilfering you speak of?”

5) Whispers of insider trading and excessively creative accounting in non-private firms, even occasional false invoices used to purchase illicit services and goods, is enough to make you consider retribution. But be strong, it’s not worth your energy. Do what you can to combat the wrong-doing, but be careful to avoid gaining negative karma.

6) Through her bias, or even sometimes in exchange for favors, Alice the high-profile analyst over-inflates the projected worth of the equities she rates, hood-winking 1000s of investors. Nobody will notice, right? Sure, nobody but your spirit, Alice, and you’ll carry these deeds with you into your future lives. “Enjoy!”, you can’t resist saying to yourself. But have faith, she will eventually learn that it’s best to be honest, even when nobody is watching.

7) The train-robber-esque world of unregulated Credit Default Swaps (CDSs), has over the past several years turned speculation on corporate credit into a casino-style sport instead of merely hedging downside risk. “10, 20, 30 or more times your investment in leverage with only the risk of losing your initial capital! Who cares if I wreck a few companies and bring the financial industry to its knees!” exclaims George the gangster. You sigh to yourself as you sense he’ll, on a soul level, chose to endure multiple lifetimes of balancing the spiritual debt he’s acquired. Send him lots of Light, he’ll need it.

Is every Wall Street worker void of all shame and a conscience, you ask yourself? Of course not. Just as with any profession, there exist bad apples. Again, we believe the vast majority of American financial merchants are principled.

Ultimately, investors, employees, and consumers vote with their feet. If you don’t like the way some executives operate, don’t work for the company, don’t buy their products and services, and avoid investing in their equities.

Humor is Spiritual

Share Button

It’s commonly acknowledged that sex before marriage, an occasional cocktail or two, or cursing is not going to cause you to burn in hell. However, in your spiritual quest perhaps you’ve asked yourself, “what isn’t acceptable behavior, that would make me incur negative karma?”

Our experience and findings tell us that it’s generally a matter of avoiding intentionally hurting yourself or anyone else.

Saying or doing something politically incorrect, in itself, won’t earn you years of karmic punishment in return. However, intentionally inserting historical myths about the Revolutionary War in public school curriculum, to further your political agenda, for example, will incur negative karma.

We’re firm advocates of the funny side of life (believe it or not!). In fact, the raunchier the better, as far as we’re concerned. We believe that humor helps to balance out the heavy seriousness so often found in spirituality.

A good laugh (at nobody’s expense…well, unless they’re really asking for it) does wonders in snapping you out of a funky state of mind. It’s uplifting and it’s good for your soul.

We’ll share a funny exchange from Facebook to illustrate our point:

“Sc.P. is vacuuming his chest hair, pouring a bourbon, and pressing his white pant-suit (not all at the same time).”

The following includes some of the responses by others related to that post.

A.J.M.: “Vacuuming your chest hair?”

Sc.P.: “Yeah, I grew it out like Austin Powers. I’m going for a 1970s look.”

A.J.M.: “Hence the white pant-suit. Okay, Mr. Travolta. Don’t forget the gold chains.”

Sc.P.: “Gold chains, check. Platform shoes, check. Lava lamp, check. Perm and lamb-chop sideburns, check. Wonton spirit, check. Sexist attitude, check. Enough booze to float a barge, check. What else? Hmm.”

A.J.M.: “Digi cam to snap pics so you can post ’em on Facebook so I can see ’em. Check.”

Sc.P.: “Wouldn’t want to frighten everyone.”

J.B.: “And I bet not in that order, either…”

Sc.P.: “Reverse order, right you are.”

S.L.: “1976 Eldorado with the Chrome package. Check.”

Sc.P.: “Digging the 1976 Eldorado with the Chrome package (plus 8-track and power windows!), check. Plethora of ribald commentary, check. Practicing smooth, radio announcer voice so when I talk to any one of numerous lady-friends (each of whom I refer to as ‘cupcake,’ ‘honey,’ or ‘sugar’) on the rotary phone I can say, ‘hellooooooooooooo. So…what are you wearing?’, check. Repeatedly using the excuse ‘something suddenly came up,’ to dodge social commitments, check.”

Sc.P.: “Suggesting to my ‘secretary’ with a smirk and a wink that she should ‘let her hair down,’ check. Xenophobic outlook, check. Total lack of understanding of health and wellness (‘healthy’ is a slice of tomato on my cheeseburger), check. Practicing smug swagger, check. Absolute alpha-male temperament, check. Hmm, what else? I think I’ll call this character ROGER. Roger Johnson (‘Roger THAT’ he says with a smile). It’s 1977, every night is a party, and every day finds a new source of iniquity.”

S.L: “Say, Roger, me and the gals are meeting at Trixie’s Supper Club. Why don’t you swing on over?”

St.P.: “Tab in the wet bar for the ladies, check.”

Sc.P.: “Swinging over to Trixie’s, check. Roger that! (said with lopsided grin, while raising glass and inadvertently sloshing half of his drink onto the orange, shag carpeting). KC and the Sunshine Band’s ‘Keep it Comin’ Love,’ ‘Shake Your Booty,’ ‘Get Down Tonight,’ and ‘That’s the Way I like it,’ blaring from the speakers, check. ‘boogie oogie oogie till you just can’t boogie no more,’ check. Tab for the ladies (it’s ‘low-cal’), check.”

S.L.: “Dallas here, ‘your captain who knows how to fly.’ Listen, Roger, I met some fine ladies on the Vegas/Newark leg. Were getting ‘The Missing Lady’ out of dry dock and heading to international waters. Better get down here before the best views are taken. Thanks for visiting Dallas (toothy smile & orange tan).”

Sc.P.: “Rrrrrroger THAT.”

Sc.P.: “Waking up in a strange bed, hearing her say ‘What’s your name again?’, and feeling relieved because that’s exactly what he was thinking. (attempt at seductive look) ‘Roger. Roger Johnson. And yours, sugar?’ ‘Farrah, Farrah Fine, nice to meet you,’ she says. Check.”

St.P.: “‘Condoms?! Those are for sailors,’ laughs Roger.”

(end)

Some might say, about that harmless exchange, “That’s not very spiritual.”

We disagree! It’s our belief that you should keep your creativity flowing and always make every effort to have a good time. Being in the moment and striving for personal growth doesn’t mean you have to be so serious all the time, and there is no strict spiritual code of conduct requiring you to sacrifice enjoyment (unless you choose to live your life in a religious order, for example, which may be more about learning discipline than gaining spiritual awareness). Laugh as much as you can, it’s good for your spiritual growth.

Fatalism and Karma: Myths and Misconceptions

Share Button

The American Heritage dictionary defines fatalism as “The doctrine that all events are determined by fate and are therefore unalterable.” To us, fatalism is more forgiving. We have found through our long-term empirical research that at least 75% of everyone’s key life circumstances are predetermined. The type of financial standing, love life, recognition and fame, personal adversity, life purpose, and more, and the related timing; we think it’s all part of your unique personal destiny.

Fatalism in its Proper Perspective

Fatalism can be the predisposition that someone will over-indulge in and become addicted to sugar and nicotine, for example, and therefore incur serious health problems.

Fatalism, seen through comprehensive astrology and numerology, and intuitive readings, consists of general inclinations, and sometimes specific circumstances, such as an alcoholic parent, strife within the family between siblings, three difficult romantic breakups or divorces, two kids, a dynamically successful self-employment career involving publishing, or shrewd investing yielding vast abundance.

You Can Improve Your Life Even With the Most Challenging Fate

Even with the most dire personal fate, you have some freedom within your karmic plan to strive toward a better life. Additionally, we are convinced that much of predestination involves taking the right action at the right time, utilizing your free will; we believe fate and free will are intimately connected. Yet many times, significant events happen in your life no matter what you do. As the saying goes, the way to make God laugh is to make plans.

We always advocate the following life philosophy: understand yourself to the point of knowing your personal fate, deal with the hand you’ve been dealt (by your higher-self, your soul) constructively, take care of your responsibilities, and do everything you can with your free will to enhance your life.

Karma and Fatalism Aren’t Excuses to Avoid Responsibility

Unfortunately, too many people mistakenly think they have 100% free will while dismissing the belief in karma and predestination as a way to dodge obligations, commitments, and taking responsibility for their lives. Some people have the wrong idea about the topic of “fatalism” and “believing in karma.” They erroneously believe that karma is “…merely an excuse (like the will of God) to never take charge of your life and actually do something.” Or they may say that it’s just a tricky way to avoid taking responsibility because the person is too cowardly to act.

While some people on this planet (e.g., in select non-Western countries where Eastern religions prevail) believe in and practice absolute fatalism, meaning they believe they have zero free will to influence their life, all superstition aside, by and large the rest of the human race believes it is possible to improve their lives (at least to some degree) through appropriate action. “Control over one’s destiny” is another way in modern times to say “taking action to make a better life.”

Fatalism doesn’t have to mean 100% of everything in your life, even what you decide to have for desert, is fated. That’s silly. Equally silly is a lot of praying and, or visualizing without taking any concrete, efficient action toward your goals, or setting unrealistic goals.

Acceptance of Karma Equates to Taking Full Responsibility For Your Life

Most rational people today who believe in the notion of karma understand that embracing the idea of karma is all about taking responsibility for everything about your life. There’s nothing cowardly about, for example, forgiving those who have hurt you, healing yourself, accepting that you may have had the negativity coming to you (since you know that what goes around comes around even if it finally comes around from, for instance, 70 lifetimes ago), and not placing the blame on someone else.

Americans mostly believe that consistent, efficient effort makes for a better life, and we believe it does too, within the confines of personal fate. But don’t deceive yourself out of overbearing pride that you can “be or become anything you want.” You can if the desire matches your path, but life doesn’t
always work that way (total free will) despite what many self-help “authorities” might tell you.

That might sound unpleasant, but we believe you’ll agree, in time, it’s ultimately far more unpleasant to be led astray on the New Age path of illusion. Being sold New Age snake-oil is something you want to avoid, no matter how enticingly poetic and heartfelt the sales-pitch might sound to you.

Fatalism Includes Rewards Too

Occasionally there is an innately talented and intelligent person who works his or her way up from ground zero to accomplish great things, but this is all in the realm of fatalism too, in our view-big things happen because they are fated to happen. Success, good fortune, and failure is relative to your karmic plan. Hang in there and make the most of your life, it’s within your fate to do so.

In Support of Handwriting Analysis

Share Button

Skeptics of handwriting analysis say they want statistics on the validity of handwriting analysis, such as those involving published medical studies. Yet time and time again the outcomes of such scientific studies are proved unreliable due to bias (e.g., the study that found the drug superior was sponsored by the company that makes it).

Or, skeptics suggest that a handwriting analysis study should be “peer-reviewed.” However, there are many studies showing that peer review doesn’t enhance the accuracy of scientific work at all.

Even so, if they insist on scientific reviews, there exist many involving the science of handwriting analysis. The best anyone can do is to conduct objective empirical investigations, such as the ones here (extensive list–over 200, many from the past decade–of scientific papers published in non-graphological peer-reviewed journals since 1950): http://tinyurl.com/4cx3nf

You can’t prove that something has scientific validity. But you can prove a practice invalid. So far, handwriting analysis (or comprehensive astrology, or comprehensive numerology, etc.) has yet to be proven invalid. The above studies very firmly lend authenticity to the science of graphology.

An aside, handwriting analysts never claim 100% accuracy, and there doesn’t exist any psychological assessment tool that is 100% accurate.

Handwriting analysis is a valid supplement to other testing methods. It’s extremely useful in determining if a job applicant fits a job description, thereby saving the company time and money, along with helping to reduce security risks. It does not, however, directly predict the success of the applicant on the job.

Handwriting analysis is also extremely effective in assessing already existing employees’ strengths and challenges. It can go a long way in helping to improve workplace productivity and morale by uncovering true abilities and compatibility.

Reasonable levels of accuracy are assured if the graphologist has extensive training, such as by earning certification from a respected handwriting analysis school. An analyst knowledgeable in both trait-based and  holistic approach graphology is best, rather than only one of the two methodologies.

A graphologist’s analysis is relative to the time the handwriting sample was written. Although it’s possible for a person’s script to change somewhat over time, the basic structure (organization, form, zonal balance, spacing, etc.) most often remains the same. But it is a good idea to have the person offer an updated writing sample for a current analysis if the person has gone through some major life changes, or if the last analysis they had done was when they were 23, and they are now 43, for example.

For those who are still skeptical of graphology, recall that many respected scientists in the earlier part of the twentieth century insisted that psychology could not be a science. It took decades for psychology to be accepted as the valid science it is today.

The U.S. Library of Congress catalogues graphology (handwriting analysis) books in the psychology, document examination, and personnel screening categories.

“Graphologist” (handwriting analyst) is listed in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Directory of Occupational Titles (DOT) as “miscellaneous professional.”

The U.S. Department of Labor Dictionary of Occupational Titles lists the profession of graphologist (handwriting analyst) as follows: http://tinyurl.com/52wb9u 199.267-038 GRAPHOLOGIST Analyzes handwriting to appraise personal characteristics: Obtains handwriting specimen to observe overall appearance of writing and detailed formation of letters. Measures height of letters and slant of writing, using calibrated templates. Observes individual writing strokes to determine unique or distinguishing characteristics, using ruler and low-power magnifying glass or microscope. Evaluates handwriting sample and interprets findings, according to theories of handwriting analysis. May use diagram to plot writing characteristics. GOE: 02.04.01 STRENGTH: S GED: R4 M3 L3 SVP: 6 DLU: 89 Evidence of handwriting analysis having done harm in personnel selection or in other applications in the workplace is non-existent.

Over 300 handwriting indicators must be considered in doing a thorough analysis. Some of the more notable considerations are as follows: consistency; compression; down-strokes; elaboration; expansion; finals; fluidity; form; harmony; lead-ins; loops; margins; movement; organization; pressure; rhythm; signature compared to the rest of script; size; slant; overall arrangement and picture of space; spacing (letter, word, line, etc.); speed; zonal balance and much more.

Does any single consideration, such as excessive elaboration, override the cumulative strength of the collective body of other considerations? No.

All of the hundreds of indicators in a handwriting sample collectively either support or reduce the energy of any one consideration. Any single indicator must be corroborated by other indicators. The analyst weighs individual considerations and then views them in the context of the entire writing sample; the sample is dissected then re-built into a profile outlining the personality.

Graphology is grounded in common sense. For example, pressure of handwriting is symbolic of emphasis in speech; size is representative of how much attention you want; slant is how you react (left = withdrawal, right = outwardly expressive); writing movement is how you act (e.g., appears to be moving forward quickly equates to high drive, etc.); and signature could be interpreted as how you want others to view you. Handwriting is like mind-writing and handwriting analysis is a mind interpretation method.

Graphology is a valid, ethical approach to help define a person’s abilities and challenges, and it can help employers run their businesses more efficiently (before and after hiring). It can also be used by parents, singles, couples, teachers, and anyone else who is seeking more understanding about themselves and others.

10 Spiritual Tips to Overcome Financial Fears

Share Button

It seems just about everyone is needing to be more mindful about money these days. People are cutting back more than ever and finally paying more attention to their spending habits.

For some, so far, it’s only a matter of awareness. All the recession talk is causing them to be more cautious, even though their income and expenses, to this date, have not changed much.

Others, after losing their job or experiencing major pay cuts, are having trouble meeting basic expenses like their rent or mortgage payment.

One good thing that may come from the recession includes an increasing number of people taking more responsibility for their financial future. Many will think twice before whipping out a credit card on every impulse. Things that seemed like necessities in the past, such as a nicer car, dining out frequently, expensive cups of coffee, or the hippest new fashions from the trendiest stores are being bypassed for alternatives.

Despondent about when things will get better? It varies for everyone. Periods of financial struggle and times of abundance throughout your life can be readily identified; they are symbolized through cyclical timing methods in the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts or foretold by some psychics. Likewise, your overall money fate over the course of your entire life can be determined as well; below, average, above, or way above average financial prosperity is symbolized in the comprehensive chart patterns. If this concept is new to you and you’re skeptical, we understand. It took us many years to recognize the authenticity and accept the notion of, fixed personal fate.

How does this concept apply to someone who is always in debt? It indicates they may be living beyond their means, buying more than what they are destined to possess (unless they are destined to have more money but are subconsciously blocking financial success, which is discernible through handwriting analysis). They may think it’s their “birthright” to have and buy whatever they want, when they want it. But if they want to get out of debt and remain there, they must reduce their spending and accept the level of material abundance that their soul (not their conscious self) chose before incarnating.

For those who are financially responsible but have hit a temporary rough patch, or for anyone else who wants to make the most of their financial fate, we offer two different methods to help whenever you’re feeling apprehensive about your finances.

The first is what we call the Mystic’s Magic Formula.

1) Make time to consider your situation from a spiritual perspective. Review your assumptions and expectations and let them go.

2) Accept what has happened, what is, and where you are (essential in order to move on). Surrender to your inner wisdom. Establish and cultivate your goals after determining if they are relatively realistic.

3) Gratitude: express it for where you are, everything rewarding in your life that you have, and the good that will be, and strengthen your faith by continuing to emotionalize the desired, end result.

4) Invite help from your higher-self, guides of the Light and, or God.

5) Calm your mind and fears and awaken your awareness through meditation.

6) What’s the next step? Ask this every step of the way and be open for clues.

7) Assume responsibility for yourself and your situation (no blaming).

8) Navigate your path with the tools available to you: numerology and astrology, meditation, past life regression, graphology, and other effective self-help methods.

9) Do what you need to do, when you need to do it (and do “the right thing” in all situations).

The second method is easier and especially helpful when you are feeling depressed, confused, or helpless about your situation. It can be used anywhere, anytime, and when practiced often, it will make a world of difference and generate enormous peace of mind.

Instead of feeding your depression or feelings of lack, elevate your energy and change your state of mind. That may sound a bit vague, but it’s fairly easy to do: just feel excited about more money, a better work environment, more clients, more love, a better date, or whatever, but the trick is to feel in general terms, such as simply “mass abundance.”

Don’t think of details yet or analyze how you can reach your goal. When you feel the worry energy weighing down your heart and solar-plexus (stomach) chakras areas, instead of giving in to it, transmute it, replace it with the positive energy of excitement. Feel excited and let the energy rise and then imagine yourself merging with a higher, protective, and guiding power. Perceive yourself surrounded and filled with a bright, white light. Make this process a regular habit.

Feel as if your dilemma is solved. What’s that really like for you? A huge sense of relief? Satisfaction? Generate all the positive emotions. Getting excited about the idea of a solution will more easily allow you to perceive the most fitting one when it’s time for you to do so. Worrying about something? Cancel that (think, “cancel, cancel, cancel”) and correct and, or reverse the fear-based imagery in your mind; feel excited as if everything is working out better than expected. Keep feeling the excitement over and over and it will help to cancel out dark or negative energy that may be interfering and causing you to experience more fear than usual.

Everything goes in unique cycles, including your finances. Even though you can’t skip the tough parts of life, you can use your free will to make the most of your personal fate and your stay on this planet.
